| FilthyBorgir Yeah might as well wait then but the time being that song kind of gave the rest of the album a sneak peek in style.
| FilthyBorgir That's cool dude, thought you should know about it.
| FilthyBorgir New Children of Bodom song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtqLploWTPY
| Hawks Sweet, no problem. Don't know how you feel about sludge, doom, psychedelic or anything like that, but you can see for yourself.
| Hawks Hey man, listen to Stoned by Acid Witch. I know you wanted some metal recs and s*** and I'm whoring that album like crazy.
| FilthyBorgir You should listen to their entire discography. It's folk/neo-folk, black metal, alt. rock/electronic. It's really good you should listen to it all.
| FilthyBorgir Do you listen to Ulver? Because I just started to listen to them and they're really good. I recommend Shadows of the Sun. That's is if you don't listen to them.
| FilthyBorgir Just look at their music vids on youtube, and I'll help you out from there.
| Hawks Plus, if you want my favorite metal albums, just look at all the albums I gave 5's to. There's some hip-hop albums in there, but it's mostly metal.
| Hawks Nice to know you have an open mind. Go check the list i just put up. Lots of good s*** on that and probably some stuff you could get into right away.
| FilthyBorgir Sweet dude. You should check out some doom metal bands like My Dying Bride.
| Hawks What kind you looking for? My favorite metal album is Silent Waters by Amorphis so check that out, but what other kinds do you want?
| FilthyBorgir lol at you dude, you must've been drunk or something or other. Do you let people on your log in or something?
| FilthyBorgir Lol dude, I've know about Buckethead for a long ass time. He's even your avatar right now.
| FilthyBorgir I've heard of Buckethead, and thanks for the description of Guthrie Govan.
| FilthyBorgir Na I haven't heard of Guthrie Govan until now. How good is he?
| FilthyBorgir Yeah then people start listening to unorignal music that sounds all the same.
| FilthyBorgir Oh they're deathcore, I'm not a fan of deathcore. But they're much better than Suicide Silence.
| FilthyBorgir Never heard of them before I'll check them out now.
| FilthyBorgir Yeah dude Mikael Åkerfeldt did harsh vocals for Katatonia for about 2-3 years. I know he's featured in Brave Murder Day.
| FilthyBorgir They're ****ing amazing. To warn you everything after Brave Murder Day is Doom Metal, it's very slow but still heavy and no harsh vocals. If you haven't looked into Opeth then you need to get all of their stuff as well. Both Opeth and Katatonia are connected bands.
| FilthyBorgir No problem dude, Katatonia also has a lot of EPs too. So you need to check them out individually because they have other songs that included unreleased songs as well.
| FilthyBorgir I sent you the download links, of were I got the albums.
| FilthyBorgir Just pick up the Night of the New Day, for now. Tomorrow I'll give you the links to the other album downloads on last.fm so you can save some money. (tbh itunes is a rip off)
| FilthyBorgir I downloaded the zips off of mediafire for free for all of Katatonia's studio albums, all of them are worth the purchase/illegal download. To me all of the albums are excellent or superb.
| FilthyBorgir Transcending Bizarre? is a Symphonic Black Metal band from Greece. Do You listen too Katatonia? If you don't you need to look then up.
| Hawks You might as well go for Black One. That's the one I have from them.
| Hawks Only heard one of their albums, but they're pretty good.
| FilthyBorgir It helps out the band in a way and for people that come across their page, to see if it's worth the listen.
| FilthyBorgir Well that's you, I'm not going to torture my ears for a band that's praised a lot just because of Jane Doe and I heard Axe to Fall that didn't impress me with the vocals either.
| FilthyBorgir Lyrically as it goes I know that they're very intelligent but vocals are the biggest thing first with music for me.
| FilthyBorgir Yeah acquired taste is a big one, technicality as it goes its superb, but the vocals ruined it for me.
| FilthyBorgir Dude don't worry about the hating on music genres. When your on sputnik longer you realize people will hate any genre regardless what you listen to. But he's one of my friends so don't worry about it. Btw I ****ing hate your Converge rating, it's not a classic the vocals are aggravating as stepping in dog s***.
| FilthyBorgir That's why you use high quality and find a good quality video on youtube. But if you want really good quality use this one site. http://www.makeitmp3.com/index.php

| FilthyBorgir I hope that youtube converter site will save you money. Also If you start a last.fm account you find a s*** ton of good bands from other countries.
| FilthyBorgir If you use this website it'll save you money, after you download the mp3 go to downloads right click on the mp3 go to properties, then go to details and add the info (title, artist name, ect...)(with the website use high quality, and it's perfectly safe) http://www.listentoyoutube.com/index.php
| FilthyBorgir I've heard 3 of the recommended list you gave, thanks again.
| FilthyBorgir The one link in Russian, it's actually easy to find the download link it should be under the song listing. With your list of other artists I just glimpsed real quick, but I'm gonna look into them if I haven't heard of them. Merry Christmas.
| FilthyBorgir Wow I'm 15, that's funny yeah dude listen to it and tell me what you think.
| FilthyBorgir How old are you, cuz that could explain some stuff.
| FilthyBorgir It should be a rar file you need to extract it. Make sure you scan it, but if you need help just ask your parents or get some help from a friend. After you extract it it'll make a file of the mp3s.

| Hawks Holy s*** well there's so much great black metal out there. Just take your time and you'll find tons of great stuff.
| Hawks Just look into everything I gave you on that list and also look at my most recent list. My personal favorite black metal album is Melancholie by Coldworld so you might want to start there. Or start with Bergtatt by Ulver since it's the easiest to get into.
| Hawks Look into some of those albums. I noticed your post on Filthy's shoutbox asking for recs so I figured I'd help you out.
