| NeutralThunder12 because you are what we call a 'death-tech' kid. "Omg, this band is so TECHNICAL!!! THAT MEANS THEY ARE BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE!!!" Trust me, I probably like technical music more than you do (I bet you 100 dollars), but you need to learn about the fact that also, a good songwriter, and the right lyrics can be just as good.

The Faceless is a very good band, but there are MANY other technical metal bands that destroy them, and The Faceless happens to be a band I enjoy very much. I could list at least 7 technical bands in the death metal and metalcore genres that are better than The Faceless, though again, The Faceless are still very good.

| NeutralThunder12 Now they are more of a spacey tech metal without the death, though its still there. I don't care if "Focus" didn't stick with you, it destroys anything that The Faceless has ever done, as everybody on this site will tell you. Haha cant wait for that review.

| NeutralThunder12 The song structuring has been done before and better (by other disjointed style technical bands, like Cynic, Between the Buried and Me and The Dillinger Escape Plan). The whole album on itself is a 3.5, a step back in quality from Akeldama, (which was a 4/5), this album tends to bore me sometimes, though it's still very good, while Akeldama almost never bores me. "Duality" is a tad more draggy, while Akeldama is better and more focused, and trust me, technical metal bands have done wayyyy better

| UberRetroBanana its not entirely dissimilar, there are moments which remind me of it, and Keene did record and mix the album. Anyway I never drew a major comparison with Planetary Duality
