  • Foxhound Hey I answered your question in the Circle Takes thread. But yeah just one day when you're doing dishes or something just put it on. That's when I started to like it.

  • TRMshadow They're both great, but don't force yourself to listen to them, if you don't like them, you don't like them, that's all I can say.

  • TRMshadow Good to hear. As for converge? I think their most accessible album is probably their most recent, Axe to Fall. They had a BUNCH of guests appearances on that album, so you aren't being hit by Converge full blast the entire time. Converge's softest album by far would have to be Petitioning the Empty Sky. There are quite a few soft melodies amid the hardcore onslaught; I even questioned that it was Converge at times.

  • TRMshadow I, unlike a couple of my friends, will admit that they are not very accessible. Give those two bands a rest for a while and get into more accessible music. I've learned that discovering good music is a slow and tedious process, before jumping headlong into amazing albums from their definitive genres, you need to get into more "middle-of-the-road" bands. Name a couple albums/bands that your really like and ask for recs, that should help you in starting your journey. I wish you luck

  • TRMshadow Don't give up on CTTS and Converge, come back to them in a couple months and I bet 20$ you'll like 'em better.
