 | MutnikSpusic check out neurosis if you like mastodon. It allowed me to discover isis too, and isis made me musical taste change.

| Progmaster85 yeah u may hear them at first and think "wow they are borrrrring" but the post-metal genre is very much like that sound. Try Cult of Luna also

| Progmaster85 Isis isnt actually all instrumental, most of the songs are mostly instrumental throughtout but each song also has some vocal work.

| Progmaster85 no, a fanboy is someone who thinks that the band is god and that there are barely any other good bands out there. You just love Mastodon, as do I, you may overrate them slightly, but they are a superb band. Even if you were a fanboy, which you are not, it would be ok because Mastodon is freakin awesome. I recommend you listen to Isis if you like Mastodon though, they are a post-metal band that is quite similar to mastodon in some ways.
