You had 31 reports against you and while some were ridiculous (you arguing with another user about an album and that user being upset at what you said), some were completely reasonable (trolling, persona). People that populate 4chan have this ill-conceived notion that because 4chan has no rules, that theory percolates to every site on the Internet, and that's just not the case

| Dave de Sylvia I said to ask Jom because he was the one who banned you. I can't remember the exact reason but it relates to an assload of spam that was reported last night involving you. A reason should have been left in the thread but sometimes we are so busy cleaning s*** up that we forget to leave a reason. The solution is still not to create lots of work for us.

 | Lelle I care more about how much I enjoy the vocals rather than the technical talent of the vocalist though. That being said, it would be ignorant to totally ignore the skill of the vocalist, and in most cases I naturally enjoy technically well-executed vocals more. There is something about Tommy Rogers scream that just gets on my nerves though, that has nothing to do with his technique (which is admittedly very good, both in his singing and screaming vocals).

| Lelle subjectivity is a wonderful thing. I percieve Darkest Hour's vocals as very pissed of and aggressive in a way that I enjoy immensely. I agree that John Henry doesn't posses any range but it doesn't bother me for said reasons.

| MindTrain yeah, it's a lot to take in. Takes about 3 listens of each song (at different times) to enjoy properly. I'm always too tired to listen to 3 epics in a row. At first I thought the first song was the best, then the others grew on me just the same. not quite a 5, but still a ****ing awesome listen. Better than Crimson, that's for sure.

 | Motiv3 dunno about my arms. I have that at a 4.5 as well as still life. Godhead's lament is a classic opeth song and one of my top 10 opeth songs. The Moor is indeed overrated but still a very good song. Moringrise tends to have alot awesome parts mixed with bits that bore me to death, a few the songs i get bored halfway through and then it picks itself up again. Just Doesn't compare to BWP or Still Life for me.

| Lelle So be it. But my perception of the band is that my body reacts by mild headache and a longing to switch no something else whenever I put on BTBAM. It's mostly because of Tommy Rogers though, I find his vocals really grating for some reason. Regarding Opeth and Darkest Hour. I already rated Opeth "superb" which is the best rating next to classic so I don't see the problem. The same rating =/= the same level. I enjoy Darkest Hour for completely different reasons than I enjoy Opeth.

Empire! or Castevet or Maths or Throats or Wintersleep or Dangers and on and on? I feel like my biggest contribution to Sputnik is the fact that I write almost entirely reviews of music that isn't widely known here, and genres that aren't very well represented (sometimes).

| WhiteWallStargazers August Burns Red suffers from the fact that over 3 albums they have not changed much except for getting more technical. Fall of Ideals is ATR's only good album, and Burning Bridges is a really really good album, and one of my first metal albums. I like BTA much more then August
