 | ninjuice I didn't actually see your list descend into mudslinging but I can certainly relate. Sputnik is a great place to find new bands, just give stuff you won't like a chance. Some people will give you crap if you don't listen to 50 obscure metal bands a month - don't worry. If needed, put an album away and decide to give it a chance later. I've come to love dozens of albums cause I gave them a second chance.

 | Poet I see that you d your list. I would've too with the amount of idiots that post on the website nowadays. But from what you listen to, I highly recommend Bat for Lashes and The Birthday Massacre. Like Nick, I listen to a lot of metal, but I have started to branch out. It's always nice to see new users on this site who actually want to use this site for what it's truly for and not stupid stuff.

| Knott- oh sweet, i'm somebody's neighbour. happens rarely. the format are genuinely one of my favourite bands, especially if you factor fun.'s new album in somewhere - not a single track i don't swoon at, which is rare. ruess is a genius. good to see you're a stars fan too.

 | WhiteWallStargazers no problemo, I'm mostly into metal so I can't help you out too much, but there's other people that can give you alot of rec's along the lines of what you like....though be sure and check out And Then There Were None..great pop/eclectronic band
