| Metalstyles Alas I'm not that well educated on digital hardcore. I know Atari Teenage Riot are considered the pioneers of the genre, but I can't vouch for them as I haven't actually listened to them, ever (and besides Rabbit Junk I don't know many other bands from the genre - maybe I've heard a few but I can't remember atm). Should probably fix that. If you beat me to it, do let me know if they're worth my while (and I'll do the same if I beat you to the punch).

| Metalstyles Well, that's the great thing about music. Where you hear death metal I hear hardcore, but as long as we both like it, it doesn't really matter. But anyway, did you have a certain question regarding The Shizit too, or were you just interested in my take on it?

| Metalstyles Yeah I have heard it (and love it) but I don't really make the DM connection. It has the intensity of hardcore paired with industrial elements and soundscapes most of the time. A few more "metal" riffs pop up here and there but I don't really think it could be referred to as death meatl-y.

| Metalstyles Ok my bad you already had Cyanotic, dammit. Check out Whourkr, though. Someone namdropped them in that Cyanotic thread and while I haven't listened to them in a while I remember them to be quite good.

| Metalstyles Left Spine Down. They're not as great as The Shizit but play a similar style so you may dig them. Oh and I don't know if you've heard it or not, but Cyanotic's Medication Generation is absolutely sublime, love that record to death (it's not too similar to The Shizit, but it more or less fits what you wanted in your original inquiry).

| Metalstyles Oh damn I almost forgot, The Shizit's debut Soundtrack to the Revolution is absolutely badass imo. Digital hardcore at its finest. You may also dig Pig (I've only heard their album The Swining/Red Raw and Sore, but it's pretty cool). I also really liked Skold's album Anomie which is very similar to the stuff you mentioned. Oh and Crossbreed of course ;)

| Metalstyles Estonian band No-Big-Silence's album Starstealer is pretty cool if you can find it. Rabbit Junk is also awesome (albeit a lot more upbeat than the bands you mentioned), maybe you have heard of them already, maybe not. Acumen Nation's album Psycho The Rapist is also great (maybe their other stuff is as well, idk I haven't heard haha).

| Metalstyles I'm a horrible guide to be honest haha. In my circles I'm the guy who always asks others about where to go, how to go and so on. BUT, seeing as how you're a cool cat and it's not everyday that a guy out of USA visits (theoretically, hypothetically) Estonia, I'd say I'm willing, yeah. I'd probably get someone to come with me who's a bit better at introducing stuff and navigating, but I'm sure I'd be able to work something out.
