 | cotopaxi Jammin High Violet.. Time for some Snackage
 | cotopaxi The Flaming Lips, Animal Collective, Deerhunter. Whoa! Todays lineup!
 | Mars Blackmon hey sorry dude i didnt reply to you. i left for awhile and now i decided to come back. yeah gorillaz are awesome and actually i found their new album to quite lacking. Their first two albums are much better. Demon Days is an fantastic album
 | PoodleRapist damn straight! this isn't some stalling place for stalling or something, where you can just stall.
 | PoodleRapist haha thanks man, i do my best. incredible embryonic review, btw
 | Inveigh awesome man, thanks! just got em both up in iTunes, listening to South Side Life right now, diggin' it.
 | Inveigh whoa, where'd you find those?
 | Beauville88 Thanks! Yeah, the other reviews were on the fence about it, so I thought I would write up a positive review. I can see why others wouldn't like it as much, but I can't get enough of it. Good stuff.
 | Inveigh thanks dude! and yeah, that song rules
 | Inveigh I agree man, I really like it. There's not really any weak songs, and it's got that fun, Highly Refined Pirates or even a bit of Menos el Oso vibe to it
 | Inveigh I like it quite a bit, not as much as Planet of Ice though. I'd say it's at least near my top 5 of this year so far, right behind Diamond Eyes, A Determinism of Morality, High Violet and Vessel
 | Inveigh oh, definitely man. also, the new Rosetta, Minus the Bear and Dark Time Sunshine records own.
 | robertsona great! sung tongs era (especially prospect hummer ep) needs more appreciation id say.
 | Mars Blackmon Hello there. I see you commented on 3 OutKast albums praising how amazing they were. You sir are awesome for doing so
 | chambered89 glad to hear you like em man what's your favprite songs?
 | Inveigh Nice, I'll check that out now. I dunno if you're into downloading music, but if you need a Deftones disc to tide you over, go onto www.btjunkie.com and download the Deftones discography. It's got their first demo, (Like) Linus plus a bunch of other unreleased stuff. Some of it's pretty good man.
 | Inveigh YES. I can't remember the last time I was in such anticipation over an album. Maybe back in 2003 when Metallica was my favorite band and they were about to drop St. Anger... let's hope this isn't a repeat of the feeling I had the day I got that album. Sheesh. But I know it won't be man, Deftones always deliver.
 | chambered89 haha enjoy man, and hey props on the glassjaw review. pos'd
 | chambered89 giants all the way man. i totally thought they were ghonna lose yesterday
 | chambered89 definately been in more of a metal/hardcore mood. jane doe, in flames, burzum have been owning me. watch any football today?
 | chambered89 whats good bro? what you listening to lately?
 | bungy I was just laughing because every list that I looked at had Thrice on it....and then I began to amuse myself by pretending that they suck
 | robin i haven't heard bitte orca, but st. vincent herself recs it in some vid on youtube, so i guess i should give it a go
 | robin actor is simply delightful, hope you have fun with it =)
 | Waior Around the Well, definitely, as it has material you mostly won't have heard before whilst Norfolk will just be refamiliarizations of his earlier stuff.
 | plane Definitely. I seem to be one of the rare few who prefers Let the Blind... but Logos is solid, worth it for the collaborations alone
 | plane I spin Deerhunter on a daily basis so it's understandable
 | scotish yknow, I never listened to any led zeppelin outside of mothership really, cos I felt like it was all I really needed. I have IV already, anything standout that I wouldn't already have heard from the compilation album (which was awesome) I should get?
 | IsItLuck? yeah I wasn't going to rate another album until I realized I had practically nothing by the Mountain Goats rated
 | scotish what that means is that we're officially bros! also, a ghost is born finally came in today, can't wait to get listening
 | Kiran if youre feeling sinister is my personal favourite belle and sebastian album but stuff like dear catastrophe waitress and the life pursuit are v. good newer stuff. i have everything they've done and i'm generally a fan boy though so i will be disappointed if you dont like them! :p
 | robin wilco is even more incredible live, which is a shocker since london crowds barely give a good atmosphere to indie bands =). i have and nothing turned itself inside out on CD which is probs my fave YLT, and i also have i can hear the heart beating as one some obscure compilation my brother gave me called "Genius Love = Yo La Tengo". i need to get more of their well known stuff =P as for you, i recommend guided by voices as per
 | Roach Daydream Nation, EVOL, Sister they're all 5's. But even after that Washing Machine, Goo, Sonic Nurse, The Eternal, Bad Moon Rising are all fantastic
 | Roach also you really need to listen to sonic youth
 | Roach yeah yo la tengo p much rule
 | joshuatree yeah summer sun's not near as bad as people say but it's not near my favorites
 | joshuatree definitely And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside-Out cause i had the whole 'emotional reaction' thing with it, then either I Can Hear the Heart Beating As One or Popular Songs, cause their both interesting/awesome. Popular Songs may become my favorite the more i listen to it though, it like never stops growing on me
 | Kiran belle and sebastian - if you're feeling sinister. one of the best albums ever, get it!
 | IsItLuck? sorry I didn't respond earlier, thanks for the kind words sir
 | klap yeah i WENT THERE
 | scotish you would majorly dig guided by voices. just sayin ;D*unsubtle protip - start with alien lanes*
 | klap man i still need to hear that
 | klap just finished my embryonic review - let me know what you think when it goes up tonight. i'm sure you'll hate it lol
 | Kiran urgh, i've been reminded so many times over the past few days to listen to dinosaur jr. but i keep forgetting/too lazy! your recent ratings section is mocking me
 | Kiran by the way, seeing the shoutbox post below, have you got any built to spill albums yet?
 | Kiran yeah they are definitely one of my favourite bands and its not like they have just one or two awesome records, they have an incredible discography
 | thebhoy well, besides Popular Songs which I obviously have, because I wrote a review for it haha
 | thebhoy yeah, those are the albums I plan on getting for YLT
 | thebhoy yeah man, Built to Spill recs are as follows: entire discography. Seriously. Or at least get There's Nothing Wrong With Love, Perfect From Now On and Keep It Like a Secret. Then move from there. As for Yo La Tengo, I'm just starting to get into them myself, so I'm not much help on that front.
 | Yotimi Hey, btw, since you're on a Lips kick, you should check out these: Mew - Frengers and No More Stories, and Grandaddy - Sophtware Slump. They have a very similar vibe.
 | Yotimi Hey man, yeah got Embryonic yesterday. It's awesome. "See the Leaves" is definitely a song of the year contender. Soft Bulletin is still my fave though.
 | craigy2 i don't know about 'highest quality' but here's a link: ://www.mediafire.com/?je5nmxxenwd enjoy!
 | StrizzMatik Holy s***, Candiria emailed me and repped my review on their Twitter and Myspace! Consider me ****ing cheesed LOL. BTW if you want a link to Kiss The Lie lemme know
 | StrizzMatik Sup dude, I put up my review for Kiss The Lie, go check it out :) trying to get more people into this band, I have no clue why they're so underrated/unknown
 | holyroach yeah yeah i got banned for no reason!
 | holyroach nah i havent seen any of those vids.btw, i'm banned from commenting (possibly permanently) so if you wanna talk it'll have to be here instead of threads until i'm unbanned :)
 | jagride i would but i'll be going on hiatus shortlyregards
 | scotish dude you don't have your top 10 most played isn't up so I can't comment back ;
 | americanmusicmachine I don't think colour revolt have broken up yet. but i remember jesse putting some solo stuff on his myspace.
 | StrizzMatik If you haven't I highly suggest getting HORSE the band's new album, it's awesome
 | StrizzMatik Yeah TFOT eats it pretty hard. My soundoff describes it pretty perfectly
 | StrizzMatik Yeah their old stuff is similar to Dillinger Escape Plan, hardcore melded with free jazz breaks and even some rap here and there (but done correctly). They're RIDICULOUSLY talented, the drummer is godly. What Doesn't Kill You is by far their most accessible album but the other ones like 300 Percent Density and Surrealistic Madness are where it's at musically
 | StrizzMatik You should check out Candiria's last record, Kiss The Lie. It's SICK. Here's the link ://www.mediafire.com/?dztgy2uymzz
 | Prophet178 Yeah no problem dude, check out Petitioning the Empty Sky if you haven't already. It's probably my favorite Converge.
 | StrizzMatik Oh **** yeah, AIC is dope. One of the top 10 of this year IMOFWIW, Jesse Lacey has said in recent interviews the band won't be breaking up, but hinted they wouldn't be touring much longer
 | Prophet178 Ah weird, I just sent the track your way. Yeah, the album is pretty ridiculous.
 | Prophet178 Thank you sir. I can't believe we're not neighbors.
 | holyroach Yeah, I think all the signs that Brand New are going to break up soon are there.
 | jagride Apology accepted. After all, this is the 'interwebz' where insults are commonplace, and Death cab for cutie fans 'tolerated'.kind regards, mr poopular
 | holyroach Yeah Daisy's great and stuff, I like it a lot. I feel kinda bad for Jesse by now, I mean he's like 30 and still depressed.
 | jagride i dont appreciate when death cab for cutie fans use my shoutbox. leaves a nasty smell. please do not sully my shoutbox with your ****ry ever again. kind regards,mr poopular
 | shindip thanks, you got some great stuff too! lol i thought I knew you in person for a second ;)
 | shindip around??? i am confused, please explain
 | 204409 start people on catch without arms and the illusion of safety
 | Mordecai. yeh i lerv Thice. Beggars is ok, nothing wow though. Illusion of Safety ant Artist in the Ambulance are probably my favourites at the moment. Vhiessu was for a long time.
 | Mordecai. so srsly why did you want to know what i thought bout Daisy and Beggars. I havn't even got Beggars.
 | Mordecai. gimme your facebook and we'll be mates
 | Mordecai. huh? You ever talk to me again i'll hunt you down and punch you square in the dick
 | redsparrow LOL Kashmir. ://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?memberid=427757
 | chambered89 excellent taste in music man, really varied. keep it up
 | Inveigh Yeah, I'd recommend it to you. I'm not liking it quite as much now as when I first got it, but it's probably the closest record (in terms of sound/vibe) to Hot Damn! that they've released since, well, Hot Damn!
It's definitely worth checking out, the lyrics are top-notch as always.
 | Athom dan deacon - bromst
 | Athom check out some Built to Spill. they're right up your alley
 | Inveigh Thanks for the comment, put a smile on the old face. Gotta stay positive, good to know there's like-minded people on the site.
 | StrizzMatik Gotta give it to Daisy. Far more of an innovation musically, energetic, and more unpredictable in relation to their other work whereas Beggars, while awesome, is kinda Thrice being standard Thrice, which is fine but there's some spots on the record where they could have kicked it up a notch or two
