 | ToSmokMuzyki ah sput transcends time, it may as well have been a single day in this universe
 | botb Was wondering who added colossus... of course I could rely on you
 | Uzumaki Well, as of Jan. 1 I cut soda out of consumption but I?m still drinking coffee; can?t give that up. I wanna try and lose weight and put myself in a better position, financially. I made gains on the finances last year and I wanna keep going with it. Spent too many years just spending without saving, just buying s***, and if I wanna take whatever next step there is in my life, I?ve gotta be more financially responsible.
 | Uzumaki Congrats on being a dad! I?m doing fine, just taking things one day at a time. Pushing myself to do more positive things for myself this year instead of shutting myself down all the time.
 | Uzumaki Yo bro, haven?t heard from you in a while! How you doin??
 | Uzumaki Just a heads up, but list #7 is open!
 | aaronrkc Yeah dude that s*** rocks! It's kinda like, make your heavy hardcore no-bulls*** or all-bulls***. They went all-bulls*** with great form.
 | aaronrkc In concept, yes, but the LP was just a little too cringe-y twee for me.
 | aaronrkc Hah. Booked them in KC recently. Solid set.
 | botb Hahaha my man. They?re all yours though, easily one of my least favorite bands in hardcore right now.
 | botb Thanks man, it?s basically just 90s metalcore and entombed worship lol. We haven?t done too much yet in that regard but we?re trying to get out enough to play some tests and stuff. Just tricky with work schedules and everything.
 | botb Only active one is called Old Gods Defied. Haven?t done anything serious yet, just have a demo out. Before that was in a grind/PV band called charmer and a his hero is gone worship band called venomspitter
 | botb I just go to shows and am fairly active in playing live still so I keep an ear to the ground.
 | botb I?m at the cusp at 29, been trying to stay in the know too though.
 | botb It never fails, random modern hardcore albums I go to rate and you?re the only other rating lmao
 | Minushuman24 Well, I'm gonna have to check them out more. And maybe catch a show at some point.
 | Minushuman24 Oh that's sick. I actually have not heard of either of those two actually though. I checked out Greynier, they seem pretty cool, I'm surprised I haven't heard of them before
 | Uzumaki You?re the one in Hudson, WI?
 | Uzumaki Sounds awesome and glad to hear you?re alright. Hope your vacay was fantastic!
 | Uzumaki Hey man, haven?t seen/heard from you in a bit. You doing okay? Just wanted to check in/touch base and see if you?re cool.
 | Uzumaki You bet. I?m grateful for all the recs and comments on these lists, and I enjoy conversing with you all about these albums.
 | Uzumaki You do make an interesting argument, and this is a reason why I?m doing these homework lists, as, with your guys? help, I?m exploring the roots of these genres and seeing how things became the way they are today, and that?s cool. I?ll add Quicksand?s ?Manic Compression? to my part 4 and see if they can convince me more fully. Thanks!
 | Uzumaki Interesting. I guess you could say I?m more used to the ?angular, discordant? stuff as you put it, and that?s what I (subconsciously) listen for when I am listening to these albums. The ones that sound more similar to that type I can pick up on quicker, and Quicksand, while heavier than others, didn?t have ?that? sound that I would?ve noticed, you know?
 | Viriathus As Friends Rust, Fairweather, Farside, Sense Field, A Long Winter, and Time In Malta could work
 | EmperorRyker I posted as Ryker, though I was mostly active the last couple of years of the Old Testament. The New Testament is at boardislife . proboards . com :) Like I said, it's pretty much only people from the old board, because it's hard to find new ones now that it's not attached to a record label.
 | EmperorRyker Ah, got it. The nickname sounds familiar, but it might be from something else, haha. There's a new message board that's kind of a continuation of the B9 one with a lot of the old users, in case you're interested in lurking or even registering, ha.
 | ktjammin Cool, I just shot you a message. In the event that I?m too broke for TIHC, my father in law booked Temple of Void to play in Durham that weekend. I owe him because I had to bail on the Aborted show he booked for the wedding haha. Temple is an Awesome sludgy death metal band, check out their their album Lords of Death if you get a chance.
 | ktjammin I just have Facebook messenger now, I got rid of my profile. I looked you up but there?s like 20 of ya haha. I?m not sure how likely it is I?ll go, but I?d like to try to go to that or Maryland Deathfest. I?ll keep you posted.
 | ktjammin I have yet to jam anything else with my free time yet. I?m trying to see if I could swing TIHC this year, because I have a place to crash if I decide to go (I think)
 | ktjammin Actually his cleans kinda remind me of Poison the Well, but they?re far more sparse here.
 | ktjammin I?ll check out the Tomb Mold album after the new NIN - and I?ll check both of those out once I wear out this new Vein. The cleans on Errorzone remind me of Deftones honestly.
 | ktjammin I know man, gotta love Sput. Dude?s mad I complimented the new CO and dissed their last single. Forever was great, while CO are a little overhyped most of it's warranted and Sputnik tries so hard to be contrarian.
 | ktjammin Pretty much how I feel, I want them to expand but do it a little more coherently. This made up for that last single, holy moly that sucked.
 | ktjammin I LOVE the new Vein album. Yeah, I think on Forever it was kept in moderation and really balanced the songs well. On the EP it just sounds like hard riffs glitched out for no reason. I?m hoping they find a way to make it more coherent on the next LP. I love the Fear Factory influence though, agreed on that.
 | ktjammin The new Code Orange is good, but all the electronics are jarring in a bad way. It just sounds like a mess. I think Kurt Ballou was the only thing keeping their last two albums from being a mess. The stuff with Will Yip just sounds like they?re throwing ideas around hoping they?ll stick. Corey Taylor slaps on this though.
 | ktjammin I?m in Silverthorne, Colorado this weekend because my best friend gets married today. I couldn?t listen to it before bed last night, because jet lag was putting a hurting on me so I?m gonna jam the new Vein now and then the Code Orange.
 | ktjammin Yeah, I?ve had nothing but positive experiences. Just gotta be respectful. I wasn?t even aware it was coming out, I?ll have to check it. I thought that last single was hot garbage. More importantly, new Vein comes out tomorrow.
 | ktjammin It is a little weird to see a lot of the bands I loved steer away from it (like Underoath), but as long as they're in a good place and making great music, (like Zao, new Underoath sucked balls) it doesn't bother me. Also, being a Christian metalhead gives me the unique experience of reading devotionals in my Full of Hell shirt with the Trumpeting Ecstasy artwork on it. I wish some churches here shared the same fellowship/tolerance/kindness that the local hardcore scene does.
 | ktjammin The MySpace wouldn't load for me, but if I found the correct band on YouTube then this is pretty sick, props to your brother in law. I'm a Christian, but I can totally see where the criticisms come from (especially with the organized religion aspect of it). Growing up in the south turned me off of it completely for years. Ironically, the first time it was presented to me in a thoughtful manner was through Christian hardcore and metal and from there I started educating myself more.
 | ktjammin Hell yeah. I've been jamming a lot of Christian/formerly Christian metal bands lately. I miss the old Solid State/Tooth
 | ktjammin https://bridge9.bandcamp.com/album/pain-sufferingAn old Solid State band from my neck of the woods is apparently making music again and it rules.
 | ktjammin https://rebuker.bandcamp.comNot sure if you heard of these guys, The Chariot took them with em on their farewell tour and they blew my face off live. Unfortunately, it seems they?re on hiatus but New Leaf and Familiar Stranger are phenomenal.
 | ktjammin I?ve had Doomtech on repeat, the album is shaping up to be a slapper. I hope they?ve got some more longer tracks on it like that one. Have you heard the new Jesus Piece yet? The boys finally got some good production.
 | Beauers Hey, yeah I have the physical LP of the Quicksand RSD release.
 | ktjammin No, I have not. I figured it?s now or never, but I don?t think I?d be too bummed if I didn?t seeing as Christ Illusion was their last good album lol.
 | ktjammin Lucky! I?ll be seeing Aborted toward the end of June and Deafheaven later this year. Haven?t really been able to keep up with shows lately. My friend and I want to see Slayer, but we?re figuring out the logistics haha.
 | ktjammin You should check out The Fear Is What Keeps Us Here by them, it?s becoming my favorite one. I might give it a review even though it?s ancient (if I can find some time)
 | ktjammin Yeah, has some good riffs and the vocals sound great, but it?s basically my dad beats me music. I?ve been mowing through all of Zao?s discography this week. Some criminally underrated stuff here.
 | ktjammin I think after that album they lost a guitarist and let their vocalist have full control over everything. Their past two albums have been god-awful and it's so disappointing, because they had promise lol.
 | ktjammin Check out The Death Card while you?re at it. Sworn In are so bad but that album has riffs.
 | ktjammin That has to be Iowa by Slipknot for me. I can?t get not get pumped when People = s*** starts playing.
 | ktjammin Nu-metal rules dude. Vein?s new song kind of reminds me of Sworn In?s only good album (The death card) but nu Metal bands got me into Metal in general. I?m unashamed when I say I love bands like The Biz (limp bizkit)
 | ktjammin Year of the Knife don?t do a whole lot for me, I?ll check it out though. Idk Vein has always had a little nu influence in their music the beginning of Ideation Self Destruct and the end When You Weren't Caring (the self titled version) both sound like they could be on a Korn album. The new song reminded me of Eyeless by Slipknot. I feel like Vein mixes the nu with the Botchy metalcore quite wel
 | ktjammin I'll be sure to check them out. How about that new Vein track tho?
 | ktjammin Yeah, I?m looking at William Peace University and NC State because they are close to me. I?ve got 2 more years, I?m majoring in English!
 | ktjammin You should check out Frontierer if you haven?t, it?s literally Sectioned with a different vocalist.
 | ktjammin I?m surprised it even got attention here. Meanwhile, Vein has no reviews. Just finished exams today! One summer class and then I?ll transfer over to a University in the Fall! *toots own horn*
 | ktjammin Hell yeah, I?m real into all of that stuff. Deadguy doesn?t get enough credit.
 | ktjammin Yeah I?m not too familiar with slam outside of Acrania and Waking the Cadaver (who just sound like bad deathcore) so I need to do a bit more digging. Darn metal and all its subgenres.
 | ktjammin I?ve honestly missed this sound so much
 | ktjammin Checking out the new Ingested now. This is nuts.
 | ktjammin https://sectioned.bandcamp.com/album/annihilated Also peep this
 | ktjammin I?ll have to check it out, I like what I?ve heard from Ingested. Honestly, I usually can?t tell Slam and Deathcore apart haha. My friend said ?slam is deathcore?s unstable twin brother that wears flannel shirts and cargo shorts and hangs out in graveyards and will beat you up if you mistake him for his brother?
 | ktjammin I?ll give you guys Stinkfest, that song is a gem. I just never got on that hype train haha
 | ktjammin Hot take: Tool sounds like if a bunch of pseudointellectual stoners kidnapped a great drummer and made him play in their awful band.
 | ktjammin I?m not sure yet. All I know is that my friend?s family is gonna pay to fly us all out there. Their getting married at some park, which is pretty cool. I?ll give you the deets once I know for sure.
 | ktjammin They?re called Violent Nature, they just put a demo out. Yeah, The Wonder Years are coming through soon too. I?m going to try to catch both and then Aborted at the end of June (I?m flying to Colorado for my friend?s wedding the day after Aborted)
 | ktjammin I missed that one sadly. A friend of mine opened for them last week. From what I heard, it was wild. I?m thinking of seeing Fit for An Autopsy at the same venue in a couple of months.
 | ktjammin I feel like they've lost a lot of the intensity that made their previous albums great. I'm having trouble listening to it and not saying "this is the band that created Define the Great Line." I think by itself it's pretty average, but compared to their older work it's some hot garbage.
 | ktjammin Not sure if you keep up with any bands on facebook, but it looks like Vein are putting something out through Closed Casket Activities.
 | ktjammin I?ll have to give it another shot, the first half didn?t do much for me.
 | ktjammin Also I could not get into that new Underoath at all, I have yet to finish it.
 | ktjammin Honest to God, I would come out of mosh pit retirement and crowdkill everything in sight to the color of money. I hope they decide to tour again, I see that they play shows here and there. I think The Wonder Years are really boring aside from this new album and Greatest Generation, so it was a pleasant surprise.
 | ktjammin I've been doing that with Bury Your Dead lately. I forgot how hard Cover Your Tracks went. I'm also digging the new Wonder Years album a lot.
 | ktjammin Oh absolutely, Dopesick and Take as Needed For Pain are both classics in my book. I've been going through another music drought. Nothing is really hitting me hard lately.
 | ktjammin That sounds sick. What have you been listening to lately? I?ve been going back through Eyehategod?s discography since seeing them live. Their self titled is much better than I remembered it being.
 | ktjammin Yeah, it was mostly AoQ and maybe one or two songs off of other stuff lol. Buzzoven was at my date too and they were really good.
 | ktjammin I just saw CroMags with Eyehategod last night and it was incredible.
 | BAG I'm usually at em, yea. DEFINETELY don't know ya, considering I've literally never talked to anyone at a show
 | BAG you ever heard of inclination's midwest straight edge ep? if you dig incendiary you'll probably dig it hard
 | ktjammin https://helltopay.bandcamp.com/album/bliss-2 Members of Jesus Piece, this is so sick
 | ktjammin Catharsis are local to me, so that was a cool nod. Dude also said Salt the Wound wasn't as good as Elysia, what a nut. Still a good read, nitpicking aside. I like Goodbye to the Gallows by Emmure, but they are straight up discount TAS.
 | ktjammin That was a good read, they got the TAS and Emmure thing backwards though. Emmure will always be butt. You showed me Day of Mourning, who were awesome. I like that Catharsis were included too.
 | ktjammin Yeah, I'm not too crazy about Aversions Crown at all. Another deathcore band I thought was underrated were Salt the Wound. They did the melodeath/hardcore thing right, especially on their first album.
 | ktjammin Yeah, I think a lot of deathcore bands take a lazy approach to it. I think FFAA are the best band doing it right now. I miss bands like The Red Chord and Animosity that weren't just a chug fest. I think a lot of people immediately associate the genre with awful bands like Suicide Silence and Oceano.
 | ktjammin Absolute Hope Absolute Hell is a 5 in my book, Swing The Axe is an epic closer. I think this is TT's best to be honest. I'm digging g it hard.
 | ktjammin Yeah, already digging this a lot more than their other albums.
 | ktjammin Absolute Hope Absolute Hell. I forgot how good it was. I'll definitely check it out
 | ktjammin I've been listening the Jesus Piece/Malice split. Don't know how I missed that one. Also getting into Fit for an Autopsy again. I'll have to check out the new TT, their last one didn't do much for me.
 | ktjammin Spring Break next week Thank God. School has been beating my ass.
 | ktjammin I've been jamming the new BTBAM all day. North Carolina represent.
 | ktjammin The Black Dahlia Murder's latest album and Spectral Voice for me.
 | ktjammin I have not, I'm not really keen on Iron Reagan, but I'll check it out. I've been on a big death metal kick lately.
 | ktjammin But yeah Jesus Piece were ****ing ridiculous. Amped for their first lp to come out this year.
 | ktjammin Yeah, the thing is I love Knocked Loose, because they remind me of the breakdown heavy deathcore bands everyone used to talk s*** on when I was in high school. Idk maybe they just had the misfortune of going on after Terror, it didn't translate as good live as I thought I would. They played a new song tho and it was tight.
 | ktjammin I wound up leaving during their last couple of songs to avoid the mob at the end of the show.
 | ktjammin I gotta say, I didn't understand all the hype about Terror before seeing them live last night. They played one of the best sets I've seen in a while. Jesus Piece were a close second for me. Knocked Loose were... underwhelming live, their songs sound much bigger on record.
 | ktjammin That's tight, I'm excited to hear it. I'm ready to see Jesus Piece for the first time. Fun fact: their drummer played in a black metal band with my friend before Jesus Piece. They were called Katahajime.
 | ktjammin How were Misery Signals? I'm jelly that you got to see them.
 | ktjammin That's awesome! I'm seeing Knocked Loose, Terror, and Jesus Piece tomorrow. I actually really dug Ringworm, no one else really got into them except for a few of the older guys circle pitting behind me (I stayed up front against the stage for most of the show). Vein were sooooo good, I got a shirt from em.
 | ktjammin Also the Harm's Way show was sick, I'm still sore. Vein killed it too.
 | ktjammin I listened to a few from both albums, definitely digging this new one a lot more. I feel like I would like them live more. Not sure if you're into Underoath, but their new song has me stoked. Define the Great Line is a classic imo and helped get me into a lot of metal and hardcore when I was in high school.
 | ktjammin Never bothered to listen to them after my friend made fun of them for sounding like 311 but I'll check it out. Album art looks neat.
 | JayEnder fav on the album and the one that sounds the most like Changes : )
 | JayEnder Don't worry about bombarding me with comments dude. I really appreciate the feedback and understand your point 100%. In my opinion Jim taking over the role of cleans works a lot better than Dylan on old albums like Back Burner and Wasted Youth. His vox just sound really confident now and he works alongside Chad flawlessly. The classic Changes melodies are there in a few tracks, and the new style they have been working on works imo. What did you think of Two Graves man? That song is probably my
 | ktjammin I can't wait, they outdid everyone when I saw them open for Code Orange on their I Am King tour so I'm excited. They're playing at my favorite venue too which is a bonus. Do you like Ion Dissonance? I'm checking out Cast the First Stone and it is insane.
 | ktjammin That's so weird, I came back on to ask you the same thing. I'm listening to their most recent album right now, good stuff. I'm hoping to snag some Vein gear when I see em open for Harm's Way.
 | ktjammin I've been listening to Vein non stop. Can't believe I didn't check them out before.
 | ktjammin I have the flu so I can finally enjoy new music. That Bloodbather EP is sick.
 | ktjammin I'll have to check out all 3. I've been finding new music like crazy lately and it's so awesome.
 | ktjammin Oh hell yeah. The riffs in Dissect Me are butter.
 | ktjammin I haven't been this stoked on something in a while. What's with all these bands releasing EPs and then seemingly disappearing?
 | ktjammin I just realized I mentioned mouth breather twice. Doh.
 | ktjammin Hell yeah. Makes me proud to be Raleigh born. https://mouthbreathercult.bandcamp.com/album/pig also this s*** is ridiculous
 | ktjammin Have you listened to that MouthBreather EP? Jesus Christ
 | ktjammin She enjoys it live and tolerates it when I'm blasting it in the car lol.
 | ktjammin Come to think of it a lot of sick tours are coming through this month and next. Wife is gonna kill me lol. I'm dragging her to Knocked Loose and Jesus Piece.
 | ktjammin Yeah, I'm going to see Knocked Loose in March and Harm's Way this month. My father in law booked Aborted for some date in June and he's trying to get Temple of Void to play Raleigh next month. I also want to see END and Joy next month.
 | ktjammin https://bloodandink.bandcamp.com/album/of-nothing Also, check out this local band near me.
 | ktjammin Lucky! I wish I was out of the country haha. School is putting the smackdown on me at the moment. I'll be wrapping my associates up after this semester (hopefully) and looking at transferring to a university later this year or early next. Have you listened to any of the new Harm's Way stuff? I'll be seeing them on the 24th. I'm stoked for Posthuman to be out already.
 | ktjammin Also, do you like Tiny Moving Parts? Their new album is excellent and that's the correct rating for that Machine Head album. It is ass.
 | ktjammin My goal is to write a review for the God Collider EP once I get this first wave of tests out of the way in school. I've been feeling inspired lately. It looks like I'll start recording again this week as well. I'm feeling motivated in 2018 (so far...)
 | ktjammin Yeah, Unyielding Love is stupid good. They're like the UK's response to Full of Hell. I hope that 2018 brings a full-length from them.
 | ktjammin The last track on the Godcollider EP - THAT'S how you make a closer.
 | ktjammin Also this: https://unyielding-love.bandcamp.com/album/the-sweat-of-augury-2
 | ktjammin That's so sick. I was about to say they sounded like Narrows and then I read their line-up. Really good stuff.
 | ktjammin I lied, I'm going back and listening to everything by Neurosis and Godflesh, two bands I wanted to get into but never did.
 | ktjammin Man, nothing new lately. The Unyielding Love EP has been on repeat and END. I haven't had much time lately to explore anything new sadly.
 | ktjammin I'm not too big into hiphop, but he's one of my favorites. I liked Ckunterparts' last two albums, but all of the other ones have been boring to me. Have you heard of a band called Unyielding Love? Their like Full of Hell, their last EP is perfect.
 | ktjammin Have you checked out that END ep?
 | ktjammin Big Fish Theory by Vince Staples; one of the few rap albums I've enjoyed this year.
 | ktjammin https://ibb.co/c0KLkR bottom tier is honorable mentions. I hate making these because a lot always gets left out lol.
 | ktjammin Yeah, I made this dumb chart thing on Facebook haha. Let me see if I can dig it up. I forgot to add Power Trip and Rozwell Kid on it though.
 | ExecutiveExecuterexe Here's an album that's amazing all the way through: Organectomy - Domain of the Wretched https://organectomy.bandcamp.com/album/domain-of-the-wretched
 | ktjammin I saw one guy grab this dude's girlfriend and run off. The guy tried to run after him, but couldn't get through the crowd. I didn't see them again until after the show. It was just weird. I saw a lot of people look at him run but no one did anything. Thankfully I got a good spot right next to the stage.
 | ktjammin They are amazing live, I've had their new album on repeat since. Only negative thing about the show was there were a few creeps in the audience harassing women. It was weird, I've never dealt with people like that at a show before.
 | ktjammin I doubt it was anything like seeing them in their prime, but my wife and I had a really fun time. Bannon sounded vicious on Under Duress and they opened with Reptillian. They played a good mix of stuff from Axe to Fall all the way back to Jane Doe. They played Concubine as an encore and I got onstage and screamed parts of Last Light. One of the better shows I've been to for sure, I had been waiting since I was like what? 14 or 15 to see them haha.
 | ktjammin Saw Converge for the first time Wednesday. Wow wee
 | ktjammin Yeah the vocalist was on his Jane Doe s***. Even sicker that they released it for free.
 | ktjammin You still need to check out the new Corrupt Moral Altar album!!!!
 | ktjammin Yeah, new Glassjaw rules. I had to revisit some of their older stuff afterward. I hear the new MA is kind of a return to form. I'll have to give them another chance sometime I guess. I'll have to go to Iceland sometime. My friend went to Alaska recently and said it was really cool for hiking. So many places to go to now haha.
 | ktjammin Not a fan of MA, but I'm listening to the new Glassjaw and it's one of the few comeback albums I've enjoyed immensely. Might steal AOTY for me, but I'll let it sink in more. I'm sorry to hear about the vacation gone awry! But it sounds like an interesting experience and a beautiful place, at least.
 | ktjammin Whaaaat? Tell me more about Iceland. That sounds like an awesome way to spend Thanksgiving. Hopefully I'll get to travel more in the future.
 | ktjammin Yeah man, I got to celebrate it twice. I think I put on ten pounds this past week, back to reality though. How was yours?
 | ExecutiveExecuterexe some sick breeeee coming your way. Dehumanizing Itatrain Worship - ?'Sickhttps://stillbirthrecords.bandcamp.com/album/sick
 | ktjammin https://corruptmoralaltar.bandcamp.com you gotta check thjs
 | ktjammin You should, that's really all there is to it haha. I'm going to review something soon... Maybe. Have you heard Artificial Brain? They are so good live.
 | ExecutiveExecuterexe after you listen to DH, here's another one, this one you'll love: Extermination Dismemberment - Serial Urbicide https://edismemberment.bandcamp.com/album/serial-urbicide
 | ExecutiveExecuterexe Here's one more, Decimated Humans - To Provoke Genocidehttps://decimatedhumans.bandcamp.com/album/to-provoke-genocide
 | ExecutiveExecuterexe Got another slam band for you: Incinerated Flesh - Murder On Acid https://risingnemesisrecords.bandcamp.com/album/murder-on-acid-re-release
 | ktjammin Boy, am I suffering from writer's block.
 | ktjammin Yeah I think they share members with Primitive Man. Vermin Womb is much better imo. Loved their last album.
 | ktjammin Yeah, I need to get back on my grind. 2017 has churned out a lot of bangers. I'll try to get it done this week for sure.
 | ktjammin I've been pretty slack lately haha. I'm thinking of doing one for the Zao EP though.
 | ktjammin One of my father in law's friends came solely for Cattle Decapitation, so we had to stay. They killed it though, vocalist is insane live. Worth the 3 hour drive.
 | ktjammin I told ya man. I just saw Cattle Decap and Revocation with Full of Hell. Definitely one of the better shows I've been to. Got to chat with Dylan from FoH, really solid guy.
 | ExecutiveExecuterexe here's another slam album: Stillbirth - Global Error https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JBAMwzFb9U
 | ktjammin That reminds of the last time I saw Nails, Todd kept telling everyone to SLAM SLAM SLAM SLAM
 | ktjammin I love Type O Negative, but I just can't get into TT. It's like the not-good version of those bands. Dying Fetus rules. I liked their latest album a lot.
 | ktjammin Oh s***, that tour is actually coming 40 minutes away from me. I might see if the wife wants to go, she liked Code Orange live and they're on the bill. Twitching Tongues sucks big hairy balls though, yikes.
 | ktjammin I saw that! I don't think they're coming close to me though and I don't know anyone else into Hatebreed, but if I can find someone to road trip with it might be cool. How was Cattle Decap when you saw them? My father in law said we might leave during their set if they aren't killing it hahaha.
 | ktjammin I want to see Hatebreed live, although I'm really only familiar with their first two albums. I've seen Code Orange twice. They're super smug and brooding, but they put on one hell of a show.
 | ktjammin Hell yeah I did. I'm going to that Cattle Decap and Full of Hell show next Wednesday and Converge next month. After hearing The Dusk In Us, I'm pretty stoked to see Converge for the first time since they'll be touring on some of their strongest material in a while.

 | ktjammin Also I'm so mad at myself for not going to that Kublai Khan and Left Behind. I didn't think I'd dig Blessed by the Burn so much. ****.
 | ktjammin Nope, I honestly got into them pretty recently. I saw they played a few reunion shows with Code Orange. God, that must have been a ridiculous night.
 | ktjammin Yeah, this is badass. So far the production sounds a lot cleaner than it did on The Well-Intentioned Virus. I'm so stoked they decided to reunite and make music again, now if we could just get Poison the Well to do the same thing...
 | ktjammin I love Zao, I saw that they had a new EP coming out. I'll have to check it out, I liked the last full length they put out a lot.
 | ktjammin Yeah, I think this is one of their better releases. It kind of has that You Fail Me vibe. The only thing that's holding it back for me is how all over the place it is; the pacing is weird. There's a lot of bangers on here though.
 | ktjammin So far I dig this a lot more than All We Love We Leave Behind, I really like the title track.
 | ktjammin I'm about to listen to it now. From what I heard off it, it sounds like one of his more varied performances. But honestly the only albums I really love the vocals on are Jane Doe and Axe to Fall.
 | ktjammin It was awesome! We just got back yesterday; the time off was much needed. I just downloaded my pre-order for Converge and I'm stoked to listen to it. I also just reviewed the new Left Behind album; I can't put that one down - so many good riffs.

 | ExecutiveExecuterexe here's another slam album, Stillbirth - Global Error https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JBAMwzFb9U

 | ExecutiveExecuterexe i stumbled upon this...but it's not slam. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XW5_znL2i7E"hamburger helper - watch the stove"
 | ktjammin Well, I'm off til the 2nd homie! Going to get hitched and unplug for a week. Leave me some recommendations while I'm gone!
 | ktjammin Speaking of which, kids wear some weird stuff these days. I know the feeling.
 | ktjammin Thanks! I really dig being back in school, but I feel old having classes with people fresh out of high school haha
 | ktjammin I think I'd to teach here at a community college. I want to help people trying to go back to school because I know how big of a pain in the ass it is. While I want to travel, I think I'd like to keep NC my home base.
 | ktjammin I've had a handful of manufacturing jobs, but the hours were killing me. I'm the assistant manager at the Exxon I work at, and our GM is quitting so I might level up but dude it's such a pain in the ass.
 | ktjammin I'm in college right now, actually. I took a hiatus from school after graduating HS and now I'm 23 and starting over, basically. I think I want to do something with communications technology or maybe even teach English.
