 | TrantaLocked Not sure. I think a lot of work went into the trilogy plus the documentary, but Billie did say that he wants to keep writing with Green Day indefinitely.

| TrantaLocked Dude the more I listen to Tre the more it sounds like the second coming of American Idiot. I kid you not, Brutal Love almost brought be to tears tonight, and it's only been a few days since release. The music throughout the album is so smooth and positive, holy s***. Green Day saved the best for last.

| Progmaster85 Sun of Nothing (saw your rank of it) is a pretty flawless song in my opinion, yeah the little laughing interlude is absolutely pointless but it's fun, and I see you wrote that one riff sounds 'disjointed'. Colors itself is completely disjointed and that's the point, the lack of verses and choruses allow the album to flow like 600 songs in one for 65 minutes. It's still cool that you love BTBAM though

| Motiv3 I honestly have no idea dude, i just chose it cos it was the highest rated. Its supposed to be one of their least heaviest albums though if that gives you a clue as to whether you feel it should be your first album by them.

| Motiv3 only heard the eye of every storm and its a great album, apparently its a grower so im gonna give it some more listens but atm its a 3.5. Id rec that album, its definitely worth listening if you haven't already.

| Progmaster85 lol actually the Primer is ok really, but I just felt that some of the tracks on Alaska were weak compared to the perfect Colors.

| Progmaster85 oh, I still liked Alaska a lot, i love every Between the Buried and Me album, I just thought it was there weakest. However it has Selkies and Backwards Marathon, and even All Bodies. I just found that songs like Autodictact and Medicine Wheel and The Primer and Roboturner weren't so great. still a very good album though, but not as good as Colors, Misdirect or the Circus.

| Progmaster85 I love that you did that. I don't know if I'd rate all the BTBAM albums classic though. Silent Circus a 4 or maybe a 4.5, Alaska 3.5, Colors 5/5, Misdirect 5/5. I actually prefer their new one, I think the fact that they had a ballad like Desert of Song was a kickass thing to do and I love all the tracks on here. Good too see someone who doesn't think BTBAM just 'masturbate with their instruments'. Lol

| Motiv3 true.. too bad cos volume 5 has been the best since season 1, been really really good. Yeah i was like you, colors basically changed my perspective on music and made me want to branch out to more genres and styles. It took me a while to get into death/black metal especially black metal but you should give it a chance ;) theres plenty of amazing bands out there. BTBAM is also my fave band, they keep better with each release regardless of what some people think.

| NebSnurb Yeah, about your shoegaze list... definitely check out Slowdive-Souvlaki and My Bloody Valentine-Loveless...both are amazing albums, Souvlaki is more melancholy while Loveless is more euphoric in a sense
