| ArsMoriendi That's terrible news lol. That's from the only Surfers album i haven't gotten to yet
| ArsMoriendi Of course! Queercore is a long established term! :) Homocore I've heard too, though less frequently. Like that band Dicks did that song Hate the Police
| combustion07 Lol I could definitely see Beavis and Butt-Head going caveman over some Broken Hope riffs! Glad ya dig the list man
| combustion07 Hell yeah man! That Obliveon album kills on every level! Nice rating on that new Mouse/Black Thought album too! Awesome stuff
| combustion07 Jammed II when I woke up and it still hold up pretty damn well imo. And nice on thinking it was the serial killer lol. Check Judas Goats
| combustion07 I used to love me some Tapdance Extravaganza back in the day! Haven't revisited them in quite a few years though so I'll have to go back and rediscover! You got a recommendation on where I Should start? Check Ed Gein also if you haven't. Another band from that era that I really loved
| ArsMoriendi Deff check out Washing Machine then! Little Trouble Girl is good, but definitely not my fave from it. If you love Daydream, Washing Machine should be a shoe-in
| combustion07 Hell yeah they did! A lot of amazing bars came from that beef too. I'd say it was definitely one of the best of that era. I feel like Cage is pretty damn underrated too even though he gets some shine. That whole camp that surrounded him was all amazing tbh
| combustion07 I am indeed a surfer of buttoles my friend! What's your favorite album in their discography?
| ArsMoriendi I do, especially their 80s material, especially their s/t EP and Psychic Powerless
| ArsMoriendi Knowing Thinking Fellers has a gay member weirdly brightens my day
| combustion07 Hell yeah man! Lol that track was epic indeed! Good find my man! Hope you've been doing well too bro
| foxblood hey I did a song with gorepot pls check it out bro https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUY56BQtaNc
| combustion07 Yessir! My first 7" I got when I got a record player was actually their split with Scrotum Grinder! It's a pretty sick split I'd recommend checking out if you haven't. You just find them? I really wish they would have kept going. Real underrated band tbh
| Drifter came to say awesome pm dawn 5 but the rest won my heart
| combustion07 I haven't heard him but I'll definitely give him a go now! Appreciate the rec kind sir! You been doing good?
| ArsMoriendi Listen to Satanic Panic in the Attic, it?s a 5 IMO
| combustion07 Running through the Bowie too I see! Gonna have to jam through his discog right quickk
| combustion07 No sir! That's that Antichrist Demoncore right there! Glad you're woke now son! Enjoy dem riffz
| combustion07 Damn that comment you made about Reid led to a very satisfying google search! Lol
| ArsMoriendi Ever take part in the casual conversation threads? There fairly fun: https://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?listid=195806
| combustion07 I haven't actually! I'll have to see if I can track down the thread and throw a picture up. Last list I made actually has a few video links of a Devil Master show where you can see me briefly lol. How long ago was the yearbook list posted?
| ArsMoriendi Haha yeah knowing what someone looks like adds a lot to what impression they give off.
| ArsMoriendi Interesting, I don't know how to feel about that.
| combustion07 I totally forgot you recommended this one too. Still return to it every now and thenhttps://youtu.be/MimHpKEK5cg
| combustion07 Definitely appreciate the recs over the years man. The last one I recall jamming you suggested was Necrotic Mutation- Realm of Human Illusion and that one was awesome. Thanks for the checking the thread too. I'm not normally the most revealing person on here but that one felt good because there was some real stuff I needed to get off of my chest in there. Hope you got something positive out of reading. Keep your head up too man. s*** gets rough from time to time but we're gonna power through it
| Inveigh Hell yes I love Trouble. Psalm 9 and self titled are both classics
| BigHans I jammed Carry Me On and a few others. Carry Me On is a major jam
| BigHans They rule hard. I've seen them live twice.
| ArsMoriendi lol so just saying hi or was there a reason you shoutboxed? Looking for a rec or?
| combustion07 Glad you're digging the Bedwetter man. I like that dm track you linked too. That relationship was quite the journey lol
| combustion07 What's up man. Props for rating some Natas and Esham! All hail Kenny
| AnimalsAsSummit What's up! Nice to meet you as well.... you got some nice ratings man! And yes, Underworld are one of my faves :D

| MO nice man! I used to live up near Hurdman off Alta Vista. just bought a house with my gf down in Findlay Creek!
| Inveigh It's the double meanings (cheesy/journey/pizza tie-in) that have made these last 5 years truly special
| Inveigh You might honestly be my favorite Internet alt/troll ever
| Inveigh Lol random Chicago facts now? How you been dude
| Keyblade yea bro. we get a lot of bad PR lately but it's all good. u been reading into it?

| Keyblade nah not from malaysia but been living here the past few years. Zoolander, isn't that the one with Ben Stiller? pretty sure i saw #2 in theaters recently
| Keyblade yea man i remember them. they used to have that song No More that all the girls in my class used to bump to in like grade 5 lol. but Loon is the man, met him in malaysia a few years ago dude is a class act. shame his past caught up to him and he's in jail now
| Keyblade nah bro, but i grew up with a lot of jamaicans in toronto. dancehall is/was huge in the party scene there

| Inveigh haha hell yeah man, i've seen local h 3 times. also Jesus Lizard, chicago represent!
| Hawks Chief Keef or Gucci come on man there's no other answer.
| Anthracks She's pretty much a gay icon in most of America as well. Although she hasn't received much attention since about 2012.
| Inveigh you've gotta have an alt here I NEED TO KNOW WHO IT IS
| Inveigh really? i don't find them to sound much like gin blossoms personally
| Inveigh the James Brown of the early 2000s, Myskital
| Inveigh i notice you 3.5'd a jason aldean album :)
| Inveigh lol yup a relic of a much younger me. probably in a box in my parents basement along with some dc talk, supertones, newsboys and p.o.d.
| GunnarMan I just saw your comment now. I'm not social on this website. Thanks for supporting me!
| Inveigh pretty good start, i'll need to see more material before a list gets made though
| Inveigh well dude start dropping some knowledge
| Inveigh f*ck yeah man that song's killer like tomatoes
| Inveigh well then heck yes I got it
| Inveigh for sure man, classic random complete with food similes and all!
| Inveigh you should use a new food simile in all of your reviews. "this album is funky like chipotle mayo" or "these beats are dope like hamburgers" -- one of them's bound to stick
| Inveigh no prob man, i enjoyed reading it
| BigHans cool, I only play sports or music related games, like Guitar Hero
| BigHans I didnt listen to it on Last.fm, I have a Napster subscription, it doesn't scrobble.
| BigHans Listened to it, not great, but pretty good. I liked Lick Shot the best.
| BigHans Will probably listen today, Christmas is a busy time for me. Ridin Dirty is awesome.
| BigHans Sorry bud haven't had time yet
| BigHans Ive only heard a bit of his work here and there, always with TICAL
| BigHans Actually havnet heard that one.
| BigHans Ive heard it but its been awhile.
| BigHans Nope only play Madden and Rock Band.
| Inveigh yeah Shad's pretty good, I didn't really like his new one much though
| Inveigh idk if you download music, but if so, it's pretty easy to find.
| Inveigh yeah that's one of my favs off that album (Backward and Know It All are the others) but you really need to get The Original 11:11 Sessions -- it's so much better than 11:11.
| Inveigh weird, that's one of my least favorite songs on Love Potion 5. Seriously though, get The Original 11:11 Sessions if you don't already have it. Love Potions 2, 4 and 5 are all pretty epic too
| BigHans dude Im so old the last Streeet Fighter game I played was Street FIghter 2, the Arcade game, in the early 90s.
| BigHans Dude, I probalby bought over 300 CDs from used CD stores back in the day. Dont really see them around anymore.
| BigHans I have in parts. Mean Machine, Mean Machine!
| Inveigh yeah ya don't f*ck with Dr. Huxtable. when you gonna finally put a profile pic up huh?
| Inveigh I've only really listened to him on tracks with Method Man, but I like that one album they did together
| Inveigh Weird that you mention Burnt By the Sun... I just got that album and I haven't even rated it yet. I'm not sure if it's up your alley or not though. It's more on the Converge side of metalcore (as compared to the Unearth or Killswitch side). I dig it though.
| Inveigh ah, same old same old dude. what's new with you?
| Inveigh yeah I would definitely get that. It's one of my least favorite Deftones albums, but that being said, it's still awesome.
| Inveigh Ah, for some reason our neighborship isn't showing up on my queue... damn.
| Inveigh I have no idea man, but Patton and Chino (Deftones) have to be two of the best vocalists ever. I prefer Angel Dust and The Real Thing to King for a Day, but everything FNM's ever done is pretty awesome (at least that they've done with Patton).
| Inveigh yeah man Deftones are amazing, and maybe my favorite band. I love all of their albums, but especially White Pony, self-titled and Adrenaline.
| Inveigh Not bad man, same ol same ol, y'know? How's your day going?
| Inveigh I'll try to man. Ever since I got laid off most of my time's been spent online applying for jobs and going to interviews. Hopefully I'll have some free time this weekend to do that though -- I do like the album.
| Inveigh eh, been a sh*tty week man -- got laid off from my job so I've kinda been just drinking myself into a coma since Wednesday. Hence why ya probably haven't seen me on here for awhile. Got a job on the horizon now though, but in the meantime hopefully I'll be able to write some reviews. How you been man?
| Inveigh ah, was home sick yesterday from work and didn't get on the computer at all.. did listen to the first 3 Helmet albums though -- good stuff, especially Meantime and Betty.
| Inveigh I downloaded both of those albums yesterday, but haven't had a chance to check them out yet. I'll definitely get on that by tonight
| Inveigh Yeah man, I can't get into that kind of rap either. Check out a couple of those though, I think you'll dig em. Oh and thanks for the Helmet rec dude!
| Inveigh and Plastique by Sole and the Skyrider Band. All of those are great discs. I'm downloading Meantime and Betty right now by the way. Unsung was the song I was thinking of earlier (sorry for the massive shoutbox posts)
| Inveigh Sure man. Looks like you're currently digging more old-school hip hop like Public Enemy and Beastie Boys. Based on that I'd say check out Midnight Marauders by A Tribe Called Quest, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) or Forever by Wu-Tang Clan, Illmatic by Nas and ATLiens by Outkast. For more indie alternative hip-hop, check out GodLovesUgly by Atmosphere, None Shall Pass by Aesop Rock
| Inveigh Nice, I kinda forgot about them -- I've always been interested (there's one song I've always heard on the radio that I like). What's their best album?
| Inveigh I think they're awesome, but it depends on what you're in the mood for. They're like alternative or early post-hardcore. Go to youtube and look up some songs like Waiting Room, Shut the Door, Repeater, Fell Destroyed and see if ya like them. 13 Songs, Repeater, End Hits and Red Medicine are probably their classics, but all of their records are good. If you like The Melvins you might dig Fugazi (not that they sound similar at all, but they have a similar feel or aesthetic). how ya been man?
| Inveigh I like them, but I'm not a huge fan by any means (don't own any albums or anything). For that kind of hip hop I prefer Nas, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon or one of Wu-Tang's first two albums. I'd even recommend something like Mos Def's newest one before going for Mobb Deep. Maybe some Dead Prez?
| Inveigh Nice, I dig some Public Enemy. With your love for metal you should really give P.O.S. another go, lot of punk/metal overtones.
| Inveigh I would, but I do most of my listening on either my iPod or through CDs.. I'm not home often enough for my computer to be my main method. Does it track iPod plays too (if possible)?
| Inveigh Nice, that along with Symbolic and Human are probably my favorites.
| Inveigh Yeah, you definitely should. I mean, they're not the greatest metal band ever or anything really that close in my opinion, but they are classic for sure. I see you're digging Death, which discs do you have?
| Inveigh Hey man, belated merry Christmas to you too. Haven't been on in a couple days, sorry I missed ya on the actual day. Hope it was a good one bro! Also, did you end up getting any of those Pantera discs?
| Inveigh Interesting question, depends on what you mean. If you mean DJ as in producer/beat-maker, then it would have to be either Ant, MF DOOM, RZA or Madlib. If you mean DJ as in "guy who mixes/spins/cuts up other guys' beats," then I'd probably go with DJ Abilities. But Mr. Dibbs and Turbo Nemesis would be up there too.
