 | Drifter Niceeee. Yeah I just checked that album for the first time today. It's between a 3.5 and a 4 for me. Apparently it was an unofficial release according to Krayzie Bone according to discogs. Idk why those particular songs were shelved from thug brothers 2 though it is way better. Might be because they were less commercial sounding? Idk. Good album yeah definitely surprised me. Whatchu been jamming recently?
 | Drifter Hahahaha that?s hilarious. Yeah stretcha is keyblade on here but you prob knew that. That's dope that you actually found me. I see you're not really active on here anymore but you should if you have the time. I think we're getting somewhat out of a slump we've been in for a while
 | Drifter Also idk if you sent a message on there (or if you can even do that) but I can?t see it if you did since I?m on mobile
 | Drifter Yo that?s crazy haha what?s up bro. How did you find me? And how did you know I had an account on here lol. Don?t think we?ve talked before but sup bro. Gave you a follow back :]
 | Lord(e)Po)))ts yeah, probably my song of the year. i love how tele-vangelis directly builds into it too
 | Lord(e)Po)))ts Haha yeah I wouldn't recommend laptop speakers for much of anything, especially electronic music. I'm listening to the closet on my car speakers and mmmmmmph
 | Lord(e)Po)))ts I personally love him. Have been following him since his first LP and he really has his own unique flavor. Big fan. The 5 is hyperbolic but probs a 4.5 for me
 | Lord(e)Po)))ts irl facepalmed over that what the fuuuuuck. yeah i could move to Antarctica some days
 | Lord(e)Po)))ts lol ****, im not on facebook anymore i dunno if i can access it? but i can ****ing imagine. and yeah i'm going to start a Q4 list pretty soon here!
 | Lord(e)Po)))ts she's also always been pretty subtle, upon reflection i think most of her stuff has taken some time to grow on me and reveal its nuances, so im optimistic!
 | Lord(e)Po)))ts I've only listened once so far and I'm hoping it grows but I was expecting a little bit more from it tbh. I liked most of the singles but overall it just felt a little bit safe or something? But yeah hoping it grows cuz I'm generally a bit fan of hers
 | Lord(e)Po)))ts haha same, i joined when i was 15 or 16 and i exclusively listened to metal and thought everything else was garbage
 | Lord(e)Po)))ts I stumbled upon Leifur James when his last album came out and it was pretty cool stuff. This new album though is next level, definitely one of the best, most unexpected releases of the year for me.
 | Lord(e)Po)))ts Well damn, that's really great to hear. Sometimes I feel like it's a waste of time uploading and rating so many albums and making lists when no one is ever really gonna check any of it out, I even stopped uploading albums I find unless they are both from the current year and a 3.5 or higher so I can make my aoty lists because it feels a bit defeating sometimes. its encouraging to know that there are at least a few peeps out there finding stuff they connect with.
 | Sowing It's from the Norman ****ing Rockwell album photo shoot. It's Lana Del Rey.
 | JokineAugustus Hell yeah love the profile pic even if it is the worst season of Black Adder.
 | Royl123 Bruh I can't comment on your list
 | BerryGarlicia Ok m8 hard to show you my Spotify account when your list is closed XD
 | mandan Dude, are you still active on the site?
 | mandan Why did you 2.5 Clockwork Angels?
 | xxm you are a good user
 | mandan I'm doing Anthrax currently, but after that I'm gonna do the top secret band. It's a band that only has one review, as far as I've seen.
 | mandan Your reviews rule man. I'm planning to do a discog myself, but it's top secret at the moment.
 | Deviant. No probs man, glad I could help
 | AliW1993 indeed we should, melvins rule. we also appear to share a love of mr bean ;)
 | Wizard Enslaved's 'Eld', Ensiferium's 'Iron' or 'S/T', Bathory's 'Hammerheart'. I could suggest more but it would be getting into black metal territory and I have no idea if you like that genre.
 | Meatplow I can't say I have, i'll look it up. Thanks.
 | Meatplow thanks man. i'm rather at odds with the general sputnik consensus most of the time, haha. recommend me something
 | Meatplow i'm told that a lot ;) never really felt alienated by it though....
 | musicConsumer I'm not going to do it because people convinced me otherwise.
 | Jethro42 It's a pleasure man. Band is fantastic and all proggers should know them. I just noticed they're still active today. 'Blue Angel' is the last album I've listened to. The title track is an epic gem. Enjoy Strawbs!!
 | Jethro42 Excellent choice. Listen to this from 'Dragonfly' album. And be amazed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHmAl6TDHEI
 | Jethro42 Hells yeah, I love that video. Thank you. Also, I'm glad you appreciate 'Strawbs'. I invite you to check out an earlier album of theirs called 'Just a Collection of Antiques and Curios' (Strawbs was more 'medieval' in their beginnings) featuring Rick Wakeman (Yes)
 | Jethro42 Man, apparently 'The Great Deceiver'(73-74,4 cds) is the s***. I need that badly.
And what video are you talkin'about? Larks partII?..And what show? Gimme the link if you can.
 | Jethro42 None on you tube neither. I rec you these: USA(special edition), Vrooom Vrooom, (I own both)...and I've heard good things about 'The night Watch' and 'The Great Deceiver'.
 | Dryden word on the street says that. whats up bro.
 | Jethro42 Not really my cup of tea. Stuff more 'mainstreem' like Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine and The Modest Mouse have more appeal for me. I've got a hard time trying to get into Sonic Youth, Velvet Underground or Interpol. I'd be more interested in alternative rock such as Manic street Preachers for instance.
Cheerios man.
 | Jethro42 I notice your chart pie is well balanced, compared to mine. We share the same passion for the 70s. The main difference is that you are more metal and post punk than me. Other than that we both got room for musical suggestions, that's obvious. If you're really in Tull'stuff, try Strawbs - Hero and Heroine, another famous folk prog band from the 70s. Cheers man.
 | Jethro42 I think the music neighbors thing is not accurate all the time. If it was, I'd have AnotherBrick as neighbor for sure.
 | Jim no worries. gotta love blackadder too.
 | NeutralThunder12 wtf why did I write that haha. your ratings are ace. But Part the Second over Bath? hmmm...
 | maidenpmcc hey man whats up, just came across your profile. As you can tell, Iron Maiden are my fav band in the world. I noticed u gave powerslave a 5, sweet. Where are you from? Do you like Opeth, there awesome.
 | OvTheFireAndVoid That was an accident, I was choughing (thanks to cigarettes) and hit 1.5... I tried changing it but my internet wont let the page load.
 | Aids Good call, they might not even be on sale yet actually.
 | Aids Hey you going to the Vancouver DEP show? If so, where'd you find tickets? I can't figure out how to contact the venue.
 | Nagrarok I HAVE seen that scene. I thought it was kinda dissapointing though. He was visually excellent, but the way he presented himself seemed kinda... unsatisfying, if you catch my drift.
 | Nagrarok I've never seen the extended versions, I should do that when I haven't seen the films for some time. Are they much better?
 | Nagrarok Thanks. I'd seen Return of the King again recently, and when Colors didn't click with me once again and I realized how blind (or I should say deaf) sputnik sometimes is. I somehow connected that to the line in the film. Soooo... could you also bump it?
 | Dryden Intestine Baalism, Autumn Leaves rule imo. if you wanna live on the edge with a slight side of gayness of keybord melodic death check Solerrain.
 | Dryden Is it a good scare atleast
 | Jesuslaves Ehh **** it:
Exodus - Shovel Headed Kill Machine
Testament - The New Order, The Gathering, The Formation of Damnation
Megadeth - Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?, So Far So Good... So What
Kreator - Endless Pain, Extreme Aggression, Pleasure to Kill
Destruction - The Antichrist, Inventor of Evil
Anthrax - Among the Living, Persistence of Time
Overkill - Bloodletting, Killbox 13, Immortalis, Ironbound
I didn't see those in your ratings, granted I only skimmed.
 | im not a threat, i respect people.
 | Meatplow strawberry switchblade - strawberry switchblade://iamsurroundedbyincompetence.blogspot.com/2009/11/strawberry-switchblade-strawberry.html
 | Nagrarok Thanks. Your reviews are always top-notch too (which is why you should not take too long on that hiatus).
 | Nagrarok No new reviews coming from Lord Shindippon?
 | WvaSkittle i have been meaning too listen to opeth i just have not gotten around to it
 | Wizard I will make a trip one day to your beautiful province ; ).
 | Wizard What are you talking about? I mean the prairies have all of those roaming pastures and completely flat topography and.....wait a minute.
 | Wizard I'm a Canadian who lives in London, Ontario. Please don't hate on me because of where I'm from in the country. I know BCer's hate the Ontario way.
 | Wizard Are you British by any chance? Us Canadians love Brit tv hahahaha.
 | Blindsided It tends to have that effect on many people. Yours isn't too shabby either.
 | Wizard Rowan Atkinson is the s***. Black Ader and Mr. Bean ftw.
 | Kashmir09 Not in person of course lol, just around message boards, sorry for the odd wording. You like good tunes, keep up the good work
 | Kashmir09 Shindip, droppin in to say hey, new-ish to Sputnik although we've seen each other around
 | bloc thanks man! it's from Gallows - In The Belly Of A Shark. i'm not a big fan of the band, but i couldn't resist the art.
 | Nagrarok In fact, I just finished writing another one today, and two more ore on their way. Will post October 1st probably.
 | Nagrarok Say, aren't you s'posed to do Backspacer now?
 | Mikesn The Eastern Wave - All Covet, All Losei've been listening to this pretty much all month, pretty cool stuff. also free://theeasternwave.bandcamp.com/
 | cirq Haha you seem to have a good taste in music too!
 | Blindsided I don't see a review for Backspacer yet...
 | Meatplow when you put it that way sounds almost metaphorical ;]
 | Necrotica There are a lot of power metal bands, but some of the best are Blind Guardian, early Children of Bodom, Kamelot, Epica, etc. Apparently, never listen to Dragonforce.
 | Titan50 Blur are one of my favourite bands, so of course. They haven't really made a definitive album. Get the two compilation, Midlife: A Beginner's Guide to Blur and Blur: The Best Of. The former contains a lot more album tracks, though the second has more of their recognisable singles. If you like what you hear, just download all of their albums, they haven't made a single bad one (ignore the 2.7 rating for Leisure)
 | EVedder27 yeah I feel like Pearl Jam always puts out good albums no matter what. The singles aren't always the better songs on the album, I mean World Wide Suicide was not one of my favorites from the last album.
 | EVedder27 yeah bro. This is gonna be a big month with Backspacer and Black Gives Way to Blue.
 | Skyler Hmm, what are you looking for specifically? Looking at your ratings you don't seem to have any Shpongle or Infected Mushroom. I don't listen to them much these days but those are what usually come to mind when people ask for something "trippy." Check out Classical Mushroom and Tales of the Inexpressible.
 | Nagrarok What's up for next discography?
 | Titan50 Oasis and Blur are the two biggest bands of britpop. It might have always been there, I just recently rated a load of Oasis, Blur and Supergrass albums, so I guess that's what changed my chart
 | Titan50 think they only recently added it, wasn't there until a few days ago
 | Athom sup mang.- every other person's neighbor
 | mizzinineman looking through your rating and saw you and me has some similar interests! love it.
 | AliW1993 oops... maybe, i've decided i'm gonna do live
 | fromtheinside lmao, i'm wayyy behind i guess damn. who knew the stache was so powerful.
 | Blindsided oh and props on the pearl jam disco-review it was awesome i'm about half way through the disco myself.
 | Blindsided for the NIN disco-review are you doing Broken and Fixed also?
 | ninjuice You must be the first person to visit my profile cause I think anyone 13 and over would love that pic.
 | emorulez **** you..you like dio..go wear a caveman costume you loser
