 | IronGiant I'm listening to it now, it really is killer. the only track that hasn't warmed up to me yet is Ink. Other than that and Sky full of Stars which is just really below average, this album is killer. O is a great track you are definitely right.

| IronGiant really pumped to see that positive sound off for Ghost Stories. I like Coldplay a lot and was hoping this album lived up to expectation, glad to see it's even better than Viva, which for me is their second best behind Parachutes of course

 | Metalstyles I'm pretty off the Korn train to be honest. Haven't had strong feelings towards them beyond 2007 or whenever Untitled came out. I might give Scar The Martyr a try but the length really is putting me off - when it comes to metal records they should be atmospheric or carry a cool concept if they're going to be that long, and I'm not sure Scar The Martyr is or carries.

| Deviant. Fury has some great songs, but I'm not big on the production. There's virtually no bass on that album (guitar or just studio oomph) and everything just sounds a little hollow. Drums just sound like clicks

| Deviant. I don't know. Admittedly I've only given it one listen and it was really more of just a quick flick through just to make sure it was a legit leak so I'll have to wait and see but PFV is my personal fav from these cats - gonna take a bit for them to top it imo

| Metalstyles Vocalist is, well, um, good haha. He's got a good rock voice and he can scream if he needs to. He usually stays in the middle register singing department and he's got this kind of a throathy "rumph" sound in his voice which is cool. All in all he's a good vocalist for sure.

| Metalstyles That album is like Disturbed meets Pantera. Their earlier albums (Statement and Struggle) are heavier and grittier though, especially Statement which imo is the best nu metal album ever made.

| Metalstyles did you check the deion of their albums I left in the Come Clarity thread? If no then do so. Also, idk, that depends really. If you want to hear their modern metal stuff, then I would say yes, Reroute is a good option for your next pick. If you're more interested in their melodic death metal roots though, then The Jester Race is a good place to go to next. Just take into account that they didn't really have good production until Colony, so album's like The Jester Race and Whoracle...

| Metalstyles yeah I was thinking of doing the new FF a while back, but seeing as both you and Deviant have a review all written up for it (and I'm sure you both have good stuff written), and there are bound to be more than those 2 reviews for Mechanize, then I'm going to pass. I'll look over my ROb ZOmbie review today again. I know I wasn't really satisfied with my intro, but other than that, I'm pretty much done.

| Metalstyles ok so I listened to it, and after 1st listen, it's a solid 3, but that's about it. It's an okay album, but far from excellent. Album really lacks any surprise/wow factor. Song by song passes by and you always think "hmm this is pretty good", but not anything more than that

| Deviant. I'm glad Christian is gone tbh, his guitar playing comes across as really "thin", Dino's got a much chunkier style of playing. Not surprising seeing as how Dino is rather chunky himself

| Deviant. Except for that one little bit where Dino doesn't play I can pick up the bass, Dino's guitar is way too high in the mix. Christploitation freakin owns though. Gene's good, but I kinda miss Raymond's polyrhythym doublekicking

| Deviant. Took awhile to download, had to wait a good hour for a slot to open up! It's easily a 3.5 for now, might end up at a 4. Good just be early leak/not properly mixed but there's like no audible bass.

| Deviant. Check it out if you're interested in hearing everything they've done, but it's by no means a great album. Too many covers plus they used a radio rock producer so it's mxed really "warmly", stark contrast to the "idustrial coldness" you could say. One or two good songs there though.

| Metalstyles yeah, KE 101 is struggling to sell too. I'm not able to purchase it in my country (simply not on sale and since i don't have a credit card i can't buy it off amazon or anything) but some of my friends are going to russia in about a month so i'm hoping they can bring me the album from there. These guys are just criminally overlooked and that makes me sad.

| Metalstyles hmm that's a stunning comparison, but i think you just might be right. That DOES seem to be pretty valid although seems a bit shocking at first. And yeah, I'm glad you like them, I'm still on a quest to get even more people into them.

| Metalstyles yes it is a long ****ing time tbh (though they did release a 7 track Ep called New Slave Nation in 2005). So when i heard they were going to drop their new one in march i was friggin excited but they just kept pushing it back and back and back and i was already losing hope. Well it finally did came out on 15 september and i have been one happy mofo since then :). God i love these guys.

| Metalstyles great, i'm glad you like it and yeah, it's quite heavy. Also, interesting view, i never really compared James to Edsel, but i guess there is a small similarity between them, although Edsel is way more nasally (still like him though). On Synthetic Division, James sounds more like J. Davis from Korn then anything for comparison. Anyway i'm glad your liking this, as it's some really really good s***!

| Metalstyles Synthetic Division i like too, but imo KE 101 destroys it. And that's saying something as i have synthetic division as a 4. You can/should get both albums, i'm sure none of them will disappoint you.
