| EyesWideShut well for me its AOTY so far. One of the things that always worried me about HANL was that they fall to repetive, and with the Giles record they had a fresh sound. They have to keep it intresting almost like Swans did.

| lobby sorry for the late reply, gave up sputnik for a while haha. been digging the microphones "the glow pt2" miles davis "kind of blue" mike oldfield, "in rainbows" "gorguts" and deathspell omega's "chaining the katechon", and from 2011, eisley and cunninlynguists are my recent faves, but havent got into much new stuff because ive been away

 | liledman yeah it took a little while for everybody to get on board with eif, but because everybody has known about the new album coming out they went nuts. hopefully new gorguts is worth the long-awaited hype too.

| alachlahol since we're practically blood brothers now, i need you to rec me five albums from the death metal genre. i know nothing of this genre but i want to see what it does for me so throw some stuff at me you think is worth my time. doesn't have to be immediately accessible, and the type doesn't really matter, old school/melodic/brutal/blackened it's all good

| alachlahol yea the formatting for shoutboxes doesn't allow you to list stuff properly it sucks. some good crust came out this year. definitely check out Downfall Of Gaia - Epos (epic crust), Brume Retina (crust/screamo), Black September - The Forbidden Gates Beyond (black metal/crust), and Vestiges - The Descent Of Man (crusty post-rock black metally screamo mix). some other good ones are Al-Thawra - Edifice (doom crust), Contagium - Archaic, and Acephalix - Aporia
