| 8bit I think the guy who's wearing the shirt is Farris or something. Primary Colours is such a good album man. yeah, I've heard of him, he went missed or something, I should probably check out his band.
| 8bit 100 internets for having The Horrors as your dp.
| bailar11 love you titan. always comment in the best places,
| JesusV4 lol, wow. That's how I feel about Ziggy Stardust; I can never sit through the whole thing. It's actually pretty cool to hear, because somehow it makes it more understandable why I don't get the genius that's supposed to be behind Ziggy.
| JesusV4 Ziggy has got good songwriting and an excellent concept... But the music lags so hard... For my money Space Oddity as an album has his best songwriting.
| JesusV4 Wgy us it you like Ziggy Stardust? I understand its classic status in regards to music and the glam era, etc, but why is it enjoyable to you? Some songs are enjoyable, but as an ablum it bores me to tears.
| JesusV4 Heroes is infinitely better than Ziggy, that's for damn!
| JesusV4 As for Ziggy Stardust, "THE" classic, I've never been able to wrap my mind around what's so good about it. There are a couple good songs, but the album doesn't hold a candle to Space Oddity or Man Who Sold the World.
| JesusV4 Well, Space Oddity to me is his classic - Such a gorgeous psychedelic folk album. The new stuff, I really like. Heathen is one of my faves b ANY artist... And Reality is made with the same producer. I think he revitalized his creative process in the 90s after exposure to NIN. He had some excellent late-70s stuff (Heroes, Low, Lodger, Station), but nothing's ever good an entire album through, and this pattern extends into the 80s.
| JesusV4 How so? I always find Bowie to be pretty hit and miss no matter what genre he plays with.
| thediamondcanopy Not even on Sputnik can I escape the game...wait, s*** I just lost the game! Ugh. You suck.
| Baphomet dude, you're by far the most active person I have in facebook.... like the MOST active

| Gassman3268 Hi, just another reminder you have 5 votes left in the 1987 list.
| Gassman3268 Hey, when you voted on the Hall of Fame list you voted for 5 artists tha where already inducted in the 1986 list. Buddy Holly and John Coltran are still fine, but you have 5 more votes still to work with.
| Gassman3268 Hey, you voted on my Sputnikmusic Hall of Fame for 1986. Just a reminder that you can currently vote for 1987.

| jimmyisjonny I was giving the edition a 3 cos I didn't feel it made a difference, not the album itself, which is a 5I just gave Doolittle a 2 because I only heard one song and didn't like it, i'm sure it's a great album, i'll change my rating when i've heard it all.
| Ire your Bowie plays are godly man
| NeutralThunder12 bunch of people told me about the cure, I'll check it out thanks
| NeutralThunder12 hey man, thanks for the recs. And yeah, I like Joy Division but didn't put it on there
| Dreamsoffew Did you get a smile in? She has to notice that you know about it, and the smile will automatically make her think that you're cool with it, plus it's kinda a dead giveaway that you're doing it too. Still going to the movies with her?
| Dreamsoffew Well see if you can kinda keep tabs on her and when you think she's about to do it, look at her. Or better yet, just kinda glance over at her every now and again and if she happens to look up at you while you're doing it smile, and then look away
| Dreamsoffew You should try making eye contact, just to see what happens, i'm pretty sure it wouldn't do any harm. Aw, that sucks. Least you got more time to work out a gameplan I guess. Have you ever asked her why she looks over at you, or are you not revealing to her that you've noticed it?
| Dreamsoffew Just in case i'm not back on here before sunday e mail me if you want: lissaofthevalley@hotmail.com I check my emails more than i'm on here!
| Dreamsoffew Well girls only do that sort of thing for a reason. Do you look over at her when she does it? And if so, is it an instant look down or does she hold the stare for a second before looking down?
| Dreamsoffew Soz for the late reply again! This sunday coming, or been? If it's the one been, how did it go? If it's the one coming let me know and i'll attempt to pass some of my wisdom lol
| Dreamsoffew Oh okay, makes things more interesting then. And just because you were in a similair situation before doesn't mean this will play out the same though, but i'm sure you're aware of that. This one's a bit of a tricky situation, my advice would be not to come right out and tell her straight away. I'd leave it for a few weeks, but try and spend a lot of time with her. I think you said she had just got out of a 2 year relationship? No matter what anyone tells you to you, that would still hurt.
| Dreamsoffew Do you think that she said that she only thought of you as a friend to avoid any complications, because of the relationship she was in though? It's a real delicate situation this, because you risk losing her as a friend if it doesn't work out.
| Dreamsoffew Sorry for the late reply, I generally come on at nights. Should be studying, but procrastination led me here! First question is: Any idea if she feels anything like that for you? Oh, and you called her your crush. Is it just that, or do you feel more for her?
| Dreamsoffew I'm more than happy to give you some advice on your situation, if you wanna talk about it that is. Figured your shoutbox was the best place, given the lack of civilised conversation going on in your list!
| EVedder27 Where would you suggest I start with NIN? Despite my ridiculous 90s bias I haven't heard any of their albums.
| Dylan620 I've got Nevermind and In Utero.
| Dylan620 Hey, thanks for pointing out QOTSA to me - I'm buying Songs for the Deaf as soon as I have the money. And I'm already aware of Nirvana (I have two of their albums) - they're pretty good.

| MaskAtTheMasquerade awesome. yeah idk about the whole dead thing...i don't buy it. I think he's out there still being a badass, just underground in some foreign country.
| MaskAtTheMasquerade lol dude, you gotta do it. Elliott is the man. I only have XO and Figure 8, but they're both damn fine albums. I do need his other stuff, but I'm not gonna rush it. I gave Journal For Plague Lovers a listen and thoroughly enjoyed it. Gonna go through it again lata
| Waior Yeah, I just noticed that too. Strikey's got me upperhanded.
| MaskAtTheMasquerade have you given XO a listen? oh mah gawd.... it seemed like he got too much hype for all his stuff before listening to that album, but XO really made a good impression on me
| MaskAtTheMasquerade wonderful. I'll check them both out to start me off and let ya know how it went. much appreciated man
| MaskAtTheMasquerade I don't think I could even name the title(s) that I know from them. Probably whatever is the most popular but I need to give them a solid listening to. What would you recommend starting with if not Holy Bibles?
| MaskAtTheMasquerade Well, Richey seems to be the cat's pajamas according to a lot of people. I've never actually heard much of Manic though.
| Waior hush up, david bowie
| Waior it feels like everybody is shouting in my box, yo. so i am REITERATING
