 | Futures man that's gonna be so fun. and hey i see that rosasharin rating! fun album, love those hooks.
 | Scoot https://jumpshare.com/share/m6lVz1QKX7r1GRSIBO2r not sure if you're into much black metal but I'm trying my hand at doing some originals. if this has legs might do a Q1 release
 | Futures did not know the corpus christi breakdown came before to the hellfire lol. pretty wild.
 | Futures it's a fun time, short too. you'll see diamonds to dust in it for sure.
 | Futures oh should've said i listened to amidst the hallowed haha. yeah the lineup and style changes are wild lol. was reading trying to clarify. plight of the wicked goes so hard, melodies, little keys/synths, sick vocals, massive breakdowns. reminds me of the good ol days. have you heard the first betraying the martyrs ep? it's actually christian lol. goes really hard.
 | Futures finally checking diamonds to dust! vocalist is seriously insane haha. definitely a showcase. sounds like a different guy every scream lol. like 7 distinct screams and weird noises. definitely reminds me of make them suffer and old betraying the martyrs. v cool melodies and synths. fun stuff! and a new album coming with some killer features lined up. i'll prob give that a rev if it's good.
 | sr388 i went to your profile to see who you've rated recently because we're in all the same christcore threads and this advent EP beats ass, good lord
 | Futures ah i think so lol. all worth a listen? where should i start?
 | Hawks Jam this! https://www.sputnikmusic.com/soundoff.php?albumid=529103
 | Hawks They really are, the EP kicks tons of ass too.
 | Hawks Sweeeeet, I'll get on it. I've been loving the new Killing Me Softly album so much.
 | Hawks Will jam the new one tomorrow, hopefully I dig! Been in the mood for some good metalcore/hardcore lately.
 | Hawks Definitely gonna jam their new album buddy. I've only heard Ghosts of the Timeless Void from them and thought it was dece.
 | Futures absolutely. feel like a ton of people here would dig them.
 | Futures oh sweet i'll def check out their first. got such a good atmosphere, i like the lyrics as well. memento mori is really cool. feels super acacia influenced in terms of the pain and suffering of life but with the relief of heaven. really interesting and very well written. i dig it a ton. plus cool art/designs, feels like something that could be on deathwish lol. might have to write a rev for this one!
 | Futures pretty cool they are on facedown now. really well done stuff, i can see them getting way bigger. i love that straightforward sledgehammer heaviness with that dissonant atmosphere. the gutturals are so good. and i remember that first album a bit from back in the day! i'll definitely have to get to that soon.
 | Futures my christcore binge has led me to culist. slow suicide is so good. can't believe they never popped up on my radar. basically christian acacia strain. goes so impossibly hard. vocalist is really really good. preacher 3 is amazing. future gym album for gainz m/
 | Futures give truth and purpose a shot, some really fun hooks and melodies. creative breakdowns. and nice another add to the pile. may be on a full on binge now haha!
 | Futures really remind me of convictions actually, vocalist highs have that same strained scream. it's great.
 | Futures maybe an oversight but have you ever listened to i the breather? essential christcore. hard breakdowns and cool melodies. i still go back to them a ton. love their vocalist.
 | Futures whoa the price of grace is MASSIVE
 | Futures sounds just swell lol. i've got a soft spot for well done genericore
 | Futures oh yeah i remember what i was going to say lol. the convictions feature was really good. somehow had never heard of them. good stuff?
 | Futures oh not the new one the debut!
 | Futures yes! def jammed them back in the day. due for a revisit. good a time as any, holyname got me in the mood. actually really dug the album, the more post-metal-y ones were really nice. lots of variety, need a few more listens. wish brook had more parts haha.
 | Scoot they probably recorded their demo on a walkman
 | Scoot leave the sennheisers at home, it sounds best on s***ty $20.amazon headphones
 | Scoot don't expect studio production quality lol
 | Scoot https://jumpshare.com/share/kDiGTQHc5RWKhpmFr2zO tried a few different production angles this time, need to see what lands best
 | Futures ah i was looking on rym and saw the old albums tagged pop punk and easycore hahaha. wtf happened there?
 | Futures heard a few songs, should def check out an album in full! that song really rips. dude has some gnarly highs.
 | Hawks I have not, looks interesting though!
 | Scoot just gonna say this, george was an absolute beast until old crows
 | Scoot im working on three distinct vocal styles to match them all for when i eventually do watch out. already have most of that album down guitar wise but it's way more vocally challenging
 | Scoot https://jumpshare.com/share/NelvlNsnz5uR0FKFFiDl - pulm as per your subscription request
 | Futures believer nope. i'm digging in deeper into thrash rn. what album should i do?
 | Futures i've become a huge fan this past year. was iffy at first on mustaine's vocals but now i love them haha. rust in peace is an album made by aliens. i should go on a pantera binge sometime, only heard the hits but obv they rock hard.
 | Futures good to know brother! and that looks interesting, i'll add it to my list. been on a longer break from more harsh metal haha. mostly jammin megadeth and indie/emo stuff rn.
 | Futures how you doin big dog been a bit. i did listen to that first renounced album btw, was solid.
 | Futures ok BRO. start with debut? btw think you'd dig that harkonen album i just soundoffed for.
 | Futures you get around to the new deadguy yet? absolute ripper.
 | JerseyJimmy ah. okay yeah that makes sense actually. nah man, I'm a Subway guy
 | Futures brooooo hope for the dying m/. think i mentioned them a few months ago to you. they rock so hard. they didn't get enough credit for how unique they were especially for the christian scene. i gotta revisit dissimulation.
 | JerseyJimmy don't think so considering I have no idea who Mike Johns is. changed my screen name to some variation of "Jimmy 3, People 0" pretty much everywhere else last year, but I'm stuck with the old one on here :(
 | jrlikestodance I'll take them being massive over the Spiritbox, Falling in Reverse, Sleep Token type bands. Will be a good gateway for young kids to get into the good s***
 | jrlikestodance I'm supposed to see them live with a bunch of bands I really like next month. Curious to see if that changes my opinion on em. Vocals aren't my favorite but not the worst I've heard
 | jrlikestodance Saving Grace rips. I'm jamming the Unbreakable album and it pits so damn ahrd
 | jrlikestodance Never heard of the band before but I will hop on it king
 | Futures gonna get to that one next. also crazy stephen keech joined as a bassist on their last album lol. speaking of new haste the day this year please.
 | Futures ooooh that unbreakable cover looks familiar. i'll def check them out. been really loving my first dive into as cities burn. such a crime i'm just getting around to them!
 | Futures fb, twitter, rym, reddit i guess? my real name is out there so whatever lol. my email is bj.laforest@yahoo.com. hit me up with what you're on or whatever really. i check that email daily.
 | Futures kinda feel like sput is gonna kick the bucket. just in case i'd love to keep in touch somewhere off site if ya want. would be a shame if i had nobody to share obscure christian metal recs with!
 | jrlikestodance I'm surprised to see it didn't have a review. Feels like an album the community here would love
 | jrlikestodance The Dead Next Door ****in rocks dude. Can't go wrong with raw riffy 90s metalcore ever. The production can be spotty but I also think it gives it charm. Definitely will be digging deep into these guys
 | jrlikestodance I'm an Apple Music guy but I def will tap in with both releases
 | jrlikestodance Don't think I have but looks up my alley. Any album I should start with?
 | Futures dude great call just added them to my list recently haha
 | Futures woooo. knew that was right up your street. as soon as i heard it i was like that's mimsy-core if i've ever heard it!
 | Futures oh yeah for sure heard them back in the day but need to dive in further. definitely one that is high up on the priority list with living sacrifice!
 | Futures oh yeah i definitely remember listening to them back in the day, they had a music video that got huge for some reason lol. will have to check them out!
 | Futures looks interesting man! btw if you want one check out haste- the mercury lift. think you'd get a lot out of that. i think they are christian as well. like a metallic glassjaw with 90s emo and some southern twang.
 | Futures sweet. 90s i know less for sure.
 | Futures figured haha! wish it was under the norma jean name for exposure. btw been on a core binge throw me a rec. preferably something a bit overlooked and maybe christian lol
 | Futures have you ever heard luti kriss? just never listened to them for some reason but man it's great stuff. bless the martyr with deftones nu metal bounce riffs. same lineup, i'm sure you know this lol. you would love it.
 | jrlikestodance I think you had recced them on an old list of mine and I thought they were dope. Will revisit to confirm tho!
 | Hawks Its my fav metalcore ever tied with Ascendancy lol. Hope you dig!
 | Hawks Ok checked Rebirth by Antagony and its amazing. Also, have you heard Symptom of an Unwanted Emotion by Dead Blue Sky? If not please jam asap.
 | Hawks Looks very sweet on first glance. Will try to jam tonight buddy!
 | JayEnder Unearthed some good christcore yesterday my dude m/ this Hands album especially is friggin sweet!
 | Spec F*ckin kid sucks!
 | Spec https://edramatica.com/Tanner_Weed? There was a whole page about him lol it?s all coming back to me now.
 | Futures oh yeah they were sick man! i've gotta revisit them.
 | Futures construction accident man just heartbreaking. btw you ever heard of the burial? christian melo tech death with some core vocal styling that went completely forgotten. got me thinking of those christcore bands lost to time lol. you would dig them for sure as well, give them a spin next time you're in the mood.
 | Futures man that a feast for kings ep is really great. absolutely love it. reminded me a lot of volumes or within the ruins without their nintendo dweedles lol. great groove, awesome vocals. especially the cleans they were so soulful. the clean portions were so good, the end of react/regret is crazy. such a good build. sad to find out that the vocalist eric gentry died at 21. tragic man. appreciate that rec my man!
 | Futures hell yeah man i'll prob jam tonight. anything from you goes to the top of the list!
 | Futures sweet man, knew you'd dig. shame they didn't get bigger it's a pretty unique sound. actually have not heard of a feast for kings! also i see hope for the dying in tagged bands haha! i will check that one out for sure man.
 | Futures ah nice! i jammed all that solid state stuff, literally might've heard it all lol. btw one that popped in my head recently that you don't have rated is hope for the dying. pretty sweet proggy symphonic neoclassicalish metalcore. christian ofc lol. felt like they didn't get enough props, pretty interesting stuff. think you'd dig. revisited a few songs and thought it held up nicely.
 | Futures the overseer m/ jammed that one back in the day. solid underoath worship.
 | Futures oh yeah checked that durendal ep. pretty fun! kind of what i think is like a modern take on that old melocore sound. like juiced up rifles at recess. flawless cowboy is a nice song. def potential there.
 | Futures you are my music wavelength brother, seriously it scares me haha
 | Purpl3Spartan Not yet, but definitely will since I?ve seen them in my feed a couple times
 | unclereich oh hah my bad. what a cringe worthy thing to sell I died when I saw that
 | unclereich https://www.facebook.com/share/xKBfMApKTNyup8ok/?mibextid=79PoIi
 | jrlikestodance I figured as much! I jammed it for the first time in forever and it still slaps
 | jrlikestodance Don't see you have it rated but you might know/like it.... Check Martyr AD - On Earth As It Is In Hell
 | Futures you ever jam mortal treason friend? like burning bridges era htd but heavier with death metal influences. super melodic and surprisingly vicious with highs like jimmy ryan. and very jesus m/ i think you'd dig them!
 | Purpl3Spartan Haha heck yeah. My taming tongues hoodie is probably my most worn piece of merch. No small tempest gotta be their best for me. Glad to hear you?ve sunk into them because I think they?re pretty underrated
 | Spec Users like you are why I still use the site! Keep up the good work bb.
 | Purpl3Spartan Johnny booth and silent planet put on a good show yesterday in town
 | Spec Obligatory ?that?s immature blabla? but what a legend lmao.
 | Spec Was there an MJ VS CTTS kerfuffle that I never heard about? Lol.
 | nash1311 Stories is the most UĜ so enjoy
 | nash1311 Yo. You may have heard them but you haven?t rated them so wanted to share. Check out Stories (AUS) The Youth to Become and Amia Venera Landscape The Long Procession for good Underoath vibes
 | Spec I kind of gave up searching but if it ever pops up somewhere I?ll let you know! At least for curiosity sake.
 | Spec That self titled Rest album was dope from what I remember. I can?t find it anywhere though so I can?t say for sure.
 | Spec Yeah man. I thought all that stuff was hilarious at the time but now idk. Just a kid trying to be edgy who messed with too many people (annoying as s*** though). At least he?s immortalized online for all eternity.
 | unclereich it snowed here last night lol. it will never end and frankly I dont want it to
 | unclereich No lol I went to grab a burger and damn that in n out had the worst customer service so I walked to the arco and there was a small town of homeless living back there. Im used to them but these dudes snuck up on me like day walkers lol. I stopped there late at night on my way back up nevada
 | unclereich the Arco next to the in n out in Placerville is beyond sketch I think you said you live around there
 | nash1311 Lol I need to spell it out for you?
 | nash1311 Props on that. I quit for a real long time then made my way back haha
 | nash1311 I?m so humbled by that! I appreciate it. I?ll have to make a point to share with you if I think I find a gem. You been sputniking nonstop since ?08?
 | nash1311 Yo bro. You been around a while. I been around a while. We like good music. Cheers
 | bloc Em's listening to praise Jeebus music??? YOU DON'T SAY
 | bloc Hell yeah man, knew it would be right up your alley. It's got those Falling Up vibes with the rock/electronic mix. Be sure to check their other album, Eternalism
 | Assemblage Hey Emim, did you ever get to listen to Cloudkicker's "The Map is not the Territory"
 | Purpl3Spartan Btw I think you might like Greyview even more. Think it might be more up your alley even though they're all 5's imo.
 | BillyBrill Stay RIGHT there I will make you a KC and the sunshine band ranking I?m sure it will be an enthralling two item list
 | Yazz_Flute yeah you nailed it! 100 percent was bodominflames
 | Yazz_Flute lmao, I was 13 when I joined way back in 2007. Gonna have to cut me some slack there.

 | Feather Ayyyy glad you gave it a try and also glad that you at least enjoyed it a bit. Was definitely a surprise after I had wrote them off.
 | Feather Lemme know if you ever get around to checking protest the heros new release. Interested to hear what you think.
 | bloc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZqo4OZ0Pqs
 | Sowing I don't like Brand New too much. In fact, you don't like them enough.
 | Source yeah they are pretty eclectic and their music has a sense of humor to it which is cool. glad you dig em dude
 | botb The unfortunate inevitability of growing up. Hope you manage to do that, it?s the most fun thing in the world
 | botb Just working my life away mainly man, still trying to listen to and play as much music as possible haha. How about you?

 | bloc Me?? Never! I asked for them to be erased earlier this year.
 | Storm In A Teacup saw you really like Beautiful Eulogy, so I thought I'd see how you react to this:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rizvH3xe_E0
 | MO it goes. definitely a lot more vanilla, not much fun anymore
 | MO bro miss ya
 | Flugmorph And i feel good 'bout it bruuuuuutha
 | Gyromania haha i believe we've clashed in the past over stupid crap but i very seldom take these things to heart. i've been a part of this community for a long time and the feuds i used to have with people have fallen away and are now funny memories (my arguments with kill come to mind). anywho, thanks for your kind words - it's always easier to get through these things with people who can actually relate.
 | Gyromania thanks for the support, emim. i know you and i have clashed in the past, but i'm trying to put all of that s*** behind me. i appreciate the help =]
 | Jots "review is so far up its own ass it's choking on itself" - lmao. i was trying to put it more gently
 | aok yooo new south park had mimsy in it!
 | spookynewghostfriend Bro, look up Zao. One of the best rrChristian hardcore rpunk best out there, if not THE rbest.
 | Futures Bro, look up Zao. One of the best Christian hardcore punk best out there, if not THE best.
 | aok r u confirmed the last mimsy or r u only zach c-rumoring on me?
 | JesusMilosovic Can't really complain. Living in Georgia now. Really love it. How ya been dude?
 | RoyalImperialGuard Read some interviews from him in 2013 saying he would write a 5th book at some point. I am a sucker for the Eragon/Arya conclusion.
 | Days of Future Passed Yeah I used to be DOFP but I got Jom to spell it out. I doubt we've talked, I don't actively shoutbox/post lol
 | PurpleBottle http://www.reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/1pzdqu/anyone_ever_participate_in_a_real_circle_jerk_how/
 | Spec So I should jam new DH?
 | LittleStranger Good job letting all the people that don't care and more importantly can't do anything about it know.
 | heyadam the thread for DK's new album reminded me of the God Squad we had a couple years ago haha. We might have grown a bit
 | Pon Ah okay, I figured there was some tongue-in-cheek there, but you never know on this site lol
 | Pon I mean whenever you comment on a list of mine you're always sarcastic and insulting, even though we've pretty much never interacted.
 | Pon May I ask why exactly you have such a disdain for me?
 | Iluvatar i dont want to have a genuine discussion
 | DeadStarShine you have no idea how I listened to your advises on Brand New. And it's your fault, therefore, that I feel completely glued to them now.
 | tiesthatbind Check out my latest review when you get the chance.
 | henryChinaski You're welcome man. Whatever happened to my post haha.
 | henryChinaski ACBhttp://potload.net/2zzhqo7hpcccpw www.mp3boo.com
 | Atari I'll check them out and let you know what i think man
 | Atari nope but i can definitely give them a shot. I listen to a lot of metal not just christian but it would be nice to have some more positive metal in my life
 | Atari I hear you. i was pretty disappointed in AILD's new cd though. Also i like how straightforward some of the lyrics are on war of ages whereas as i lay dying has positive lyrics but they usually sugarcoat everything
 | Atari I was under the impression u hadnt even heard war of ages lol. I like as I lay dying better too but I just really like arise and conquer
 | Wizard Finally a reason to like you now ; )
 | Wizard I have a whole new respect for you, Neurosis - Pain of Mind 5/5. Why is it that we're the only ones that love that album?
 | tiesthatbind Free to turntable tomorrow night? I promise my internet connection is better now, haha
 | Shuyin yea, now that ive got some extra space ill check out different stuff. it can get boring when your music collection is only bm/dm or post metal
 | Shuyin damn, wasnt expecting a power metal rec from you, but grave digger was pretty cool tbh, thanks dude
 | MO Right on man, I actually just finished the game myself (started on Expert...holy **** was it tough). Definitely loved tossing the screwdriver around. I find the distractions were a solid addition and worked really well. Gotta go back and play the missions, maybe even do the game on Purist mode but we'll see.
 | MO Exactly, there hasn't been anything game breaking for me yet which is a relief since it was obvious they were planning on doing some new things. Let me know your final verdict when you're done bro.
 | MO For sure some of those nice touches from BM were awesome. With the disguises I like what they did, but there should be a better middle ground, even on the harder difficulties. The insane ability for enemies to see through you is definitely annoying. I find it makes me restart more often than not, but when I do that it helps me get the level more and makes the next runs better.
 | MO Yea I know what you mean, it's definitely more story driven (which is funny since the plot is pretty uneventful). I'm glad there are some "sandbox" type levels...be them few and far between though. What do you mean about the stealth not working? Do you mean hiding in plain sight with disguises or? I still have yet to finish it as well, no time heh.
 | MO hey man, was just curious how you are finding Hitman: Absolution?they've changed some stuff (disguises, level design) but I still find it solid, you enjoying it?
 | ThirtySixChambers noice, check out Computer Science as a college major. #2 or 3 in highest employment rate out of college and salaries start at $50,000 - $60,000 most places. you don't have to know anything about programming or computers going into it either. some of the classes are boring / difficult but the actual act of programming is enjoyable and would be a pretty good career if you're interested in technology
 | ThirtySixChambers Been pretty consumed by computer programming and college s*** lately. you going the school route?
