| Aids haha living the dream. are you insanely stressed out right now? I would be. I think i'll be able to handle something like that eventually but with where i'm at right now, i don't think i could pull it off.

| Aids yeah i really think i'll regret if i don't get into the field. i actually like politics and usually do a pretty good job in debates/discussions about IR issues, I just don't think I could handle the workload. I'm a really lazy student and I leave papers until the last possible minute. I got away with it during my first two years but i think i'd crash and burn at the higher levels. idk we'll see. and yeah we're one in the same. I always meet tonnes of Canadians and Aussies wherever I travel.

 | Homeslice Placed up a new band called Monads. Funeral doom in similar form to Mournful Congregation, Loss, Evoken. It is an EP, but possibly some of the best done funeral doom done last year, and that might be an understatement.

| DarkNoctus no that's a fair point, in many ways i just threw a lot of aspects from different things i loved into one so originality definitely isn't a strongpoint as far as that composition goes (though i thought the way it progressed into the almost summoning-like part to the end was a nice twist). i'm hoping that in future compositions more originality shines through, it's kind of a difficult thing to pre-meditate. thanks for taking the time to hear it though, i'll keep working on it.

It's funny you mention trying out raw bm because the title/name "Seed of Nothing" is actually meant to denote my songs will venture in several different areas. with that said I have two doom songs I'm doing, and have already completed one that IS raw bm, it's still in the production phase so it'll be a few weeks but with your encourage I'll work on another raw bm at this point :]

| AngelofDeath Awesome. Definitely looking forward to that. Dude is a machine. Hard to think of any other artists putting out listen-worthy material at a pace like his. Can't say I'm entirely versed in modern classical, but I guess I am pretty familiar with the key players and those guys are certainly amongst top tier. Should be a great backdrop for your writing, anyway.

| AngelofDeath Do eet. Very talented young pianist/composer, much like Olafur Arnalds. This newest album has a more distinct ambiance to it due to him mic'ing his piano to pick up all the mechanical workings of his piano as well as recording through a tape recorder.

| AngelofDeath I wasn't sure if they were going to take the vein of El Mundo further or get back to the sound of Paso Inferior or early EP works, but needless to say, I was surprised in all the right ways. Like I posted earlier in the review thread, I really wouldn't be surprised if they got back to doing more stuff in the vein of Rato Triste and Sus Futuros in the near future.

| AngelofDeath Yeah, I definitely agree with those. Still really fond of the new Peste Noire as well. I believe there's supposed to be a few Panopticon splits this year, so there's always that.

| AngelofDeath I like it more than the debut, but yeah, you might not dig it if you don't care much for that one. Though, I could just enjoy it because of the slew of sub-par black metal released this year.
