| Sabrutin Ahaha it's just that the thing I least expected was a Toto 5, I only expected hate basically. And tell you what, I think I'll write another (better) review for Isolation soon

| Sabrutin I can imagine the shock ahah! When Luke enters at the start of Better World it feels like I'm suddenly on the moon. I too started with Africa... and today they're my most listened band ever, I managed to catch them live 3 times and Hydra is a contender for my single favorite song. Have you ever checked 2014's Live in Poland? It kiiinda changed how I view music

| InbredJed thanks for the kind words thats great to hear! I try to only write reviews about albums/groups about which/whom I am very passionate. I wish I had time to do that with all of my favourite albums, but that Pantera one is basically the high-water mark for me at this point I am afraid.

 | WashboardSuds I don't believe Persona 2 was pal, the series it's part of was still largely in japan at the time. as for Tales of Destiny I believe it also goes by the name Tales of Eternia internationally, maybe you've know it by that name? its a 2d action RPG like Zelda 2

| WashboardSuds I know Vandal Hearts! I love Ps1 rpgs, still need to pick up that one though. same with suikoden, though its not my favorite game. I had a sealed copy of Vagrant Story at one point but it got damaged. so now the rarest (?) games I probably have right now are Tales of Destiny 2 and Persona 2

| WashboardSuds I found my copy at a local game shop a few years back, and I collect games so I had to sweep it up at only 25$. it sucks more people don't take the rec! its easily one of the better top-down zelda-style games I have played, you would think more people would be all over that! haha. and yesss the soundtrack is fantastic, the main town theme is up there with my all time favorite 32-bit tracks of all time

 | RunOfTheMill The chorus is really bad. Steely Dan has always had a knack for making weird chords, and usually they sounded good and fresh, but the ones they chose in the chorus just did not work at all. The verses also used a lot of strange sounds, and just ends up sounding quirky and dissonant.

| OmairSh Yeah sure you can rec stuff, although be warned I'm not the sort who can just listen to something, even if it's very good, when I'm not in the right mood (I'm sure thats the case for a lot of people). So I might listen to your rec's after a while, but by all means :-).

| OmairSh If you like dark ambient/experimental then there's Lunatic Soul, I've reviewed it even (okay it sounds like I'm friggin marketing my reviews damn).It's the solo project of the vocalist/bassist of Riverside, you might enjoy it. But I think you should youtube it or download it juust to be on the safe side :P.

| OmairSh Also listen to it with headphones, there's quite a difference, the mix seems more balanced. Man I wish I could go back to the time when I couldn't get enough of this album.

| OmairSh This is their heaviest album, the older ones are more varied with more gorgeous atmospheric sections and heavy sections blended harmoniously. A lot of people love those albums more and I fell in love with the sound of the band with those albums but this one really amazed me.

| OmairSh We must review the Dixie Dregs stuff, people should know! Haha. Have a listen to ADHD online first so you get a feel, I was mentioning its heavy but I was so in awe at the point I was blinded :P. The guitars are heavy but they and the drums should've been louder in the mix. Composition wise the album is near faultless.
