| someone fantabulous, thanks aplenty
| BaselineOOO I like Conflux the best, but I also enjoy Necropolis and Castle.
| Trifolium Wow I didn't know it existed! Definitely checking that ASAP tomorrow at work!!!
| DDDeftoneDDD ahahah dude harsh with Invent Animate? deserved tho...I'm trying hard aws and it sucks...
| DDDeftoneDDD What can we do? Trash pop is the new cool alternative I guess...
| DDDeftoneDDD Yap. Album is even more trash...it corrupts an otherwise neat and varied list.
| unclereich Freakonomics. levitt(one of the authors) is a student of the Chicago school which is the finest economics institution in the world for my money. the mathematics that goes into being an economist, like any branch of math, is not concerned with the normative ideals of politics. economics is often a barometer or a way of using math to predict economic outcomes,, it get s unfairly politicized.
| unclereich philosophy of mathematics and logic. so needless to say she is quite a bit smarter than I! yea Econ is still a passion, I just didn't want to pursue it any longer. most people in general have 0 working knowledge of it and are convinced they do.
| unclereich my partner is starting her phd in philosophy next year, she challenges me in the best ways. it is an entirely different way of thinking i am not used to
| unclereich during my first go around i studied theology as a minor with a majour in economics, but dropped out a year before i graduated due to sheer boredom. i went to catholic high school and it was there my fascination with religion was truly cultivated, though it was also the place where i ended up burning myself out education wise and lead to my eventual dropping out of college. I am currently finishing my second degree in international relations. i also am studying religion in politics
| unclereich the young earth creationism you bring up is absolutely fascinating. ive studied religions in depth during my first trip at uni and never really came across it. thanks for the scholarship in the thread im really enjoying reading about it. its a shame that others cannot put down their defenses for a moment and simply be interested in the many modes of worship of people around the world. ive always been fascinated at the poor reaction of others when faced with uncomfortable and taboo takes on god
| MementoMori Hey, I saw you left a question in my shoutbox, which I've since answered, four days too late, unfortunately (my apologies for that). Pop over there if you're curious as to my answers, if you're so inclined.
| DDDeftoneDDD "Don't take my 2 rate personally haha" not at all. "How's the 2013 list coming on? =]" not at all. ahah. How is it going with everything? you cool? Cheers!

| DDDeftoneDDD HEY that was fast! That's one track greatly written...I'm leaving work now and gonna set that up as well. Share thoughts if you want!
| DDDeftoneDDD If you want a good starting point on Inter Arma you could turn to that 2014 list, where you have this 45 minute, one song EP The Cavern! Its gorgeous man...another fave is Paradise Gallows.
| DDDeftoneDDD One of my fave post is Inter Arma...band is outwordly genre bending but maybe not your genre although they go from BM to OSDM to Pink Floyd in a post feature Neurosislike. About 2014...I've setted my rates and following recs now...I plan to make a list to each year as far as I can ;) the discogrun list is like a reminder of things I've been delaying.
| DDDeftoneDDD Hi! Language landed at 30 but don't mind the rank...like...Artificial brain is a 4.5 on me atm and landed on 23 lol with weaker releases at his front...ranking looses its sense as the list goes on lol
| DDDeftoneDDD Its v good music though! And maybe too good musicians ahaha tk you a lot for your inputs. Fire is very good and I don t even care for the free jazz sections...although I admit some sound textures are pretty awesome.
| DDDeftoneDDD ahaha Lore is beautiful man...and tell me your thoughts on The Mire as well!
| DDDeftoneDDD The Mire is better than a 3.5 but I have present that your 3.5 means a pretty high rate am I right?
| budgie i don't have that list anymore but i do have this spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wcKxXxgV7ET3cOkzwR814D9JScJSUYOJI4XO2NKArN8/edit#gid=0with my favorite's (5's) on the far left column and 3's on the far right
| Trifolium Ah yeah, that's probably it! We've got a different preference then, nice!
| Trifolium The Bella Wolf one was nice, but I'm not too big of a fusion-fan. Prefer a more acoustic style. Still nicely sunny and energetic!
| Trifolium Cool, going on my list of albums to check. Thanks, I'll let you know what I think.
| Trifolium Ah nice! Glad you digged Pirates, it's a lovely record for sure. Their 10 other albums are exactly like that. And no prob about that late reply, these are busy times. If you find anything jazz-related that I haven't checked I'm always interested!
| Trifolium And this, look at how delicious this is. Indigo Jam Unit. Also a shout-out to the fake ending, how playful and snarky haha! https://youtu.be/Axlai-FcfKc
| Trifolium Oh nice, that Yussef Kamaal record was great wasn't it!?
| DDDeftoneDDD Nothing wrong with Egyptian theme....but for some reason (lol) I want to listen do Nile right after.
| DDDeftoneDDD those 3 made my list...weyes blood is flawless songwriting my friend...slick interpret..a lesson to learn. Fire is amazing man...lol you crazy! Yeah Hashshashin is all (too much at times) about the drums. Really nice vibe...
| DDDeftoneDDD yeah man true...mine goes back to mIRC nicknames LMAO
| DDDeftoneDDD Do you even care for Nightbringers? TBDM's album?
| DDDeftoneDDD "Maybe that's a self-selection effect" true dat...Idk...I'm used to Nightbringer. Bringer for friends...like ppl just say Demon, DD, Pika etc...
| DDDeftoneDDD Tks bringer! It helps to like good music with good looking covers...I'm glad the FI one has no letters here on Sput ahaha
| DDDeftoneDDD ahaha just finished the 4.5s (yeah high rater I know) as said...I do the 5's 4'5s and 4's list by that order (and with a slight rank there)...then arrange them by genre and colors.
| DDDeftoneDDD TKS for commenting bro. Answer my question when you can lol
| Sowing Thanks I appreciate you as well
| TVC15 Mad respect for the Hamilton 5
| Sowing I'm in constant awe over what she does with those songs. It's true innovation and it sounds gorgeous too.
| DDDeftoneDDD Great rate on Luz Devora! Also I'm digging more than I though I would wnlhtl! Considering that solid 4 bump. Tks
| DDDeftoneDDD Deftones tag and Emo gere tag is always a blind shot for me...But I put on the digs (lol its where I put what I will listen to) and will check 4ya :)
| DDDeftoneDDD We gotta put that s*** up there in the charts X)
| DDDeftoneDDD damn...I immediately slapped a 4.5, but it looked a bit too long on the 1st listen. Not anymore. TKS bro. Marskid's tip ;)
| Larkinhill Hey man just saw your shoutbox message (I don?t usually check it). National discog run going well. Just started High Violet and it may be my favorite one yet (though I will say Boxer has been growing on me more with each listen)
| Lucman So it's great to see another fan! (This was meant to be one post)
| Lucman JP was hugely influencial to my interest in apologetics.
| Lucman Absolutely. One of my favourite youtube channels too.
| Toondude10 Artuma has always been a c*ntbag to me tbh, I'm not surprised how low he's gotten :\
| DDDeftoneDDD Yeah I get you buddy. It takes time and a certain "click"
| DDDeftoneDDD your claim on Thou's thread is such a classic...this was my initial soundoff (your comment was much more polite): "waaaa!? where's the so called riffs? **** off and listen to Lord Mantis, Dragged Into Sunlight, Indian f.e. m/ whatever you do don't listen to this when you re drunk...its boring as hell is supposed to..." and now I'm fiving it
| Hep Kat No doubt, man. Through our bleeding, we are one.
| Hep Kat How the **** have you been here almost 12 ****ing years and I have no idea who the **** you are??????
| telebyrd Thank you for your intelligent and articulate response to my post
