 | LambsBread Amazing Pink Floyd - Final Cut review dawg
 | Puzzles How things have changed since below lol - dude so I've just re-mixed and remastered that record of mine, which is up at dualityandtherepublic.bandcamp.com sounding much, much better and more powerful. I've done some re-arranging as well, so everything's a bit more articulate and less wanky. I'd love it if you could rate it too! It's on the database
 | Puzzles Well Jim, it must have been about I year since I showed you those first demos haha, but finally my EP is out! Officially! So feel free to download it at www.delusiontwin.bandcamp.com and be sure to tell me what you think. Cheers!
 | Vooligan Tiges did us bombers a huge favour yesterday ahaha
 | Vooligan Haha you can have Jason laycock.... Oh wait... What about the three ruckman policy at essendon!!!
 | Vooligan see the bombers fly up, up!!also, i think you'd appreciate this: http://soundcloud.com/the-beards
 | Vooligan Round 16 indeed. Should be interesting given todays results ahahahahah. Go Bombers!!
 | DaveyBoy I will let Billy know of your hatred for the bombers. Hope all is well up there around Shep.
 | DaveyBoy Jim Bob. How ya doin mate. Man, Dustin Martin is a gun. Unfortunately, his last qtr exploits against Brissy have probably cost me my SuperCoach match this week. The kangas are comin though.
 | Vooligan In case you're missing Melbourne and all it's Round 1 associated hysteria, here's a link that will catch you up. Just so you can feel a little bit closer to the action hahaha. http://www.flickr.com/photos/60589621@N03/5567402630/sizes/l/in/photostream/
 | Vooligan So Jim, i think you might be a little bit jealous about this. Whilst watching Rammstein at BDO yesterday, there was this ridiculously lanky tall guy like a metre away who was dancing like a bit of a spaz and doing some horrible air guitar. He did that for the whole set then in the middle of one of the songs, turned around and bam! Holy **** it was Matthew Richardson. So then i hugged him lol. Best thing ever hahahaha
 | Puzzles It's sooo mediocre through the middle, from like "What The **** Am I On" to "Firing Squad", excluding "Best of Worst". That said, the rest of the album is just amazing, so it feels like a 4 for me. I mean, consider White Pony by the Deftones, which had alot of filler through the middle but was still considered brilliant for the strength of its other tracks.
 | Puzzles Whoa dude, can't believe you don't like the new OR record. It's fkn amazing
 | Vooligan Dude, you need to hear E37's new one. It's insane. Here's a link :) http://www.filestube.com/3BkXj6WpA4PiK0y79bldyu/Engine-Three-Seven-Atmosphere-EP-2010-AMX-thierry0wnz.html
 | Puzzles Jim, dude, I've got that EP (complete final mixes) up on my blog, if you'd like to have a listen. I've not officially released it yet, so you can't download it, but it's up for streaming. Cheers man, let me know what you think of it. www.delusiontwin.blogspot.com
 | Vooligan Thought you'd like a listen of that prog supergroup i was talking about yonks ago with Lucius from Cog and Jon from Karnivool. Here's their new single: http://soundcloud.com/inertiamusic/floating-me-sugar/s-eb9cu
 | Vooligan Whoa, heaps different. That cover of Number of the Beast is particularly nifty.
 | Vooligan Jim, my boy. Try this on for size: http://www.mediafire.com/?6b021zplkzvd7 Twelve Foot Ninja's Smoke Bomb. I can see you liking it.
 | Vooligan gah, my memory's shot these days. On the EP, they have an acoustic version and a heavier version, with some good growls in the chorus. Personally like the heavier version best out of the three.
 | Vooligan Hey mate, thought given all of my ranting and raving about it, you'd wanna hear Helm's cover of Great Southern Land. Here's a link to hear it in full/download it: http://www.triplejunearthed.com/artists/view.aspx?artistid=26344
 | maidenpmcc Hey man, will you pos my Metal Gear Solid review? U don't have to if u dont wana. Cheers dude.
 | Vooligan Agreed its a really hard listen. Its from back when Forrester Savell was the band's keyboardist - he's certainly gone on to better things lol. The first few tracks are amazing though, 200 years kicks arse. Also, new Over-Reactor album is out December 15th :)
 | Vooligan Not sure if you've heard this, but if you want to hear Zeke going more nuts than he ever has ever, listen to this: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=W4PZL6T0 - Full Scale Deflection - Symptoms of Chaos
 | Puzzles I know, hey. Download their stuff and 'Like' them - they're following that new "free music for popularity" trend (is it a trend yet?) so you can pay whatever you want for it, even nothing. I think it's a masterpiece EP. Give it time, it grows on you almost as much as Faith No More.
 | Puzzles Presenting the latest of the incredible aussie scene: a melbourne band called Shift. They're pretty whack, a bit heavier than the others but really unique. Strong as ever songwriting, too. http://www.shiftband.net/
 | Puzzles Yeah thanks for listening, although I'm getting ****ing sick of people saying it sounds like the Deftones. I think they're a great band but I hate getting compared, nothing gets me down more. I want my own sound. Btw, the record will have alot of variety - except there's no way I'm putting any of that whisper-in-your-ear progressive acoustic folk s*** or anything. That s***'s just filler.
 | Puzzles k so what did you think
The original mixes were demos and the levels were s***. Back when i didnt know what clipping was haha
 | Puzzles Jim, mate, remember how a while ago I showed you those tracks - I've re-recorded and mixed them properly - it's the real deal this time. Anyway, check them out. They're off the EP I'm working on at the moment. Just go ahead and download them if you want. Thanks dudehttp://soundcloud.com/puzzles/

 | Douglas ****ING MARK OF THE CENTURY
 | Vooligan No worries man. Can probs send you E37, Helm and Jericco's new one if you like, too.
 | Vooligan And a few more to add to the list: Mic Man Ox (Zeke's new solo hip hop/punk/thingy project) and Floating Me (prog rock supergroup of sorts. Has Lucius from Cog and Jon Stockman the bassist from Karnivool amongst others)
 | Vooligan Oh and get Jericco's new EP, and E37's and Twelve Foot Ninjas. Can see you loving Twelve Foot Ninja's new stuff. Exactly the right amount of 90's rock influences :)
 | Vooligan GREAT SOUTHERN LANDDDDD. You walk alone, like a primitive man. Seriously dude, get your hands on the Helm EP. Or at least check them out myspace.com/ghostatthehelm :)
 | Vooligan Thought you might like that, haha. But yeah, got the EP in the mail today and Helm\'s version just smacked me in the face. I think i like it better than the original - more emotion and stuff. Just writing up a review for E37, hopefully have it up tonight.
 | Vooligan Mate, get your hands on Engine Three Seven's new record. Is a corker. The song writing has improved through the roof.
 | Vooligan Will do man. You should check out a band from Brisbane called Helm, they just released a cover of Great Southern Land, they play a very sludgy/post metally version of the the whole Aus Rock thing. Also, Jericco and Engine Three seven both have new songs on their myspace, check them out !!!!!!
 | Spare http://ahfrtd.blogspot.com/2010/08/something-for-kate-beautiful-sharks.html MY BLOG HAS EVERYTHING BRO IT'S CRAZY
 | Spare WOULD YOU LIKE A LINK TO BEAUTIFUL SHARKS BRAH
 | Vooligan Dude, saw E37 last weekend. The new stuff sounds amazing, much better than the debut EP. The new EP's out first week of September.
 | Puzzles So what do you think about Lose Your Delusion now... Grown on you at all?I HEARD HIM SAYING that the blacks begot the blues!I HEARD HIM SAYING that asians make good food!
 | Puzzles hahaha done. And yet another shoutbox I have total dominance over.
 | Puzzles Anyway, review's up. Check it out.
 | Puzzles Not to be too objective, but I really can't agree with you about repetitiveness. It may not be as varied/colourful as a Queens of the Stone Age record, but still, every song to me seems unique and incredible in its own right. How awesome is the bass in Handfed? And don't even get me started on CC's playing on Something More and the tempo changes in Doogie Howser. So ****ing awesome.
 | Puzzles Nahh mate it's all good I'm just in love with LYD at the moment. Honestly, it's one of the best albums I've ever heard. Why is there not more than 500 people that know them?
 | Puzzles Dude, 3.5? Really? **** off.
 | Vooligan Yeah lol, Zeke just had a big bag of them and was handing them out for free at Karnivool the other night, was awesome. Just got back from their gig at the Espy, was insane. Zeke ripped into some bloke who wasn't enjoying himself and just tore shreds off him, made him walk out lol. Was hilarious. But yes, very good album :)
 | Vooligan Jimothy, did you get the link i sent you on last.fm?
 | Puzzles One day, man, for sure. I'm only 15, so I'm not really capable at the moment. But I'm really glad you like them, thanks!
 | Puzzles There's another up on my page, man. It's called "Dive". http://soundcloud.com/puzzles/
 | Puzzles Thanks heaps man, glad you liked it. Spread it round if you want, I'm just getting opinions and that.
 | Puzzles All righty, here you go man. Appreciate the listen.
http://soundcloud.com/puzzles/a-damaged-machine
 | JumpTheF**kUp lol jim, i've been posting here the whole time, i've just been using a new account (transient)
 | Vooligan WHERE'S MY CORRUPTION!!! WHERE ARE MY PEOPLE????? WHERE'S MY REALITY???? I'VE ALWAYS GOT A POINT TO PUSH!!!!
 | Vooligan Over Reactor studio songs are up on their website. There's the single ft. Chris Cheney and Point to Push. They sound wicked.
 | Vooligan So i've come to the conclusion that Headstorm by Sleep Parade will become the song of the year. Soo damn good, it gets released on friday at their single launch. And E37 have decided to appear again for the gig!
 | Puzzles Yeah thanks man looks great. I'll send you a link when I upload if you want
 | Vooligan Sometimes he screams like a banshee.... His victims are many.......
 | Vooligan ahuh! So much exciting stuff happening in the next month or so. New Sleep Parade, Over-Reactor, Birds of Tokyo and Sydonia. All in the next month :D
 | Vooligan The album's meant to be out in the next couple of weeks i think. The single's out on Friday, i know that. But yes, very very excited.
 | Vooligan Ezekiel Ox Chris Cheney = Happening (if only for one or two songs lol) Watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgsTwBgbbOk
 | Vooligan Forgot to add, seeing Zeke prowl through the crowd and scream in your face from a foot away like he used to is a beautiful thing. :)
 | Vooligan So, Over-Reactor were insane live. Was just Zeke, a laptop and Corey the drummer. No hints on who the bassist and guitarists will be, think it's meant to be under wraps until the Cog gigs. But yes, think Mammal era angry Zeke and times it by 10,000 and that's about what Over Reactor was last night. I think they'll do very well.
 | Vooligan Dude, just heard something amazing. Word on the street is that Chris Cheney is going to be the guitarist for Over Reactor, as either just a contributor or actually part of the band. May not be true, but that's what i heard. Imagine that though.....
 | Vooligan yeah, can't wait. About to head of to the Espy. .hinge's last show tonight. Going to be very sad.
 | Vooligan So dude, ive heard the majority of DLC's album now on their project dead letter thing. And holy crap its good. Some very different songs, lots of electronic influences in some. Think you'll love it. Production is insane on it too.
 | Vooligan Hey dude, just reviewed the Fury's album. Check it........
 | Vooligan Also, new DLC song is up. Check the news article for the link.
 | Vooligan Sick man, can't wait for the next one. You checked out the over-reactor demos yet? There's 9 or 10 up on the website now.
 | Vooligan Awesome dude! Very Mammalish lol, loved the little freak outs haha.
 | Vooligan Proper songs up now man, 7 of them: over-reactor.com Sounds like a less funk more punk version of Mammal, and is looking like it might be better than Mammal too, and Full Scale for that matter. I think you'll enjoy these, considering it was Mammal's more nuts songs that you loved :)
 | Vooligan Also dude, new Fury song up. See what you think. myspace.com/theoxandthefury
 | Vooligan To quote a great man, its nice to see Zeke 'let loose like a goosey goose' again. :)
 | Vooligan dude dude dude dude dude.... Zeke does punk: http://www.over-reactor.com/ aaaaaaand http://www.myspace.com/overreactorband featuring the drummer from Dukes of Windsor.
 | Vooligan Fair enough man, get where you're coming from. I still love burnout with Eddie Perfect. Song rules. That and Nagasaki.
 | Vooligan They are definitely changing it up. Apparently there is going to be a song without guitar, and another with strings etc. One of their goals was to make every song different, so hopefully they managed to do that.
 | shindip nice appreciating Train Of Thought!
 | Vooligan new dlcccccccccccc song: ://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_Fu9gt3_OY
 | Vooligan dude, Zeke has another new band. They're called Over Reacter. Old school punk rock apparently. They're releasing a double album soon lol. He's getting ****ing busy.
 | Aaron SHWING!SHWING!SHWING!SHWING!SHWING!
 | Douglas haha thnkas man, so very formal.
 | horseypie haha hey dude. we should get some of these guys over to the forums haha
 | Vooligan Full Scale was insane last night dude. They're releasing an album later this year :D
 | Vooligan Looks like .hinge are going the way of Mammal, too dude...
 | Vooligan Dude, Full Scale are back together!
 | Vooligan Haha, didnt know you knew about Nucleus. But yeah, they rule. I'm obsessed with dissolved girl, amazing song.
 | Douglas haha almost like poetry hey?
 | DaveyBoy My opinion of Richo was high in the 1st place. It just got higher. Lets hope he can be the motivation for some revenge on the Blues come Rd-1.
 | Douglas I just had the most brilliant idea. For the sake of christmas nostalgia I think I might review Peter Combe's Christmas Album... hahaha oh dear.
 | Vooligan Dude, i have a rec for yah. ://www.myspace.com/breakingorbit They play prog rock a bit like Cog and Engine Three Seven. Oh and, not sure if its your thing or not but check out Bellusira also, think Mammal with less funk and a chick as a singer and thats their sound, tis awesome.
 | Aaron Jimmy Jo Jo Shabadoo.
 | DaveyBoy Yeah Jim-Bob. They were actually reviews I had pre-written before getting promoted to staff. I presumed I wouldn't get a chance to post them, so I just edited them down to Sound-Offs. I'll have a few more coming for P.O.S.
 | DaveyBoy Thanks for the congrats Jim-Bob. I was going to watch Black Books, but your profile pic made me put on 'The Best of The Late Show'! Haha.
 | Vooligan yeah dude, has to be at least a 4 otherwise it becomes blasphemy.
 | Vooligan I'm allowed to curse him, if he's the one that built me.I'm allowed to use his ****ing name in vein!
