 | Rammbrecher Used to be really into Ashes Remain, couldn't quite get into Day of Fire. Ashes does definitely have some solid riffs, I'll give them that. I was really into the second Falling Up record at some point, and I revisit it occasionally to this day. There's some fun riffs on there.

 | Gwyn. If it has a proper arrangement, yes. But you're being retarded, that's not my point. Also, Burial? He sampled a lighter and placed it in one of his songs as a constant beat. So, just about anything can make it as music, so long as a person with enough skill manages it.

| Pennywise_M Paying so much attention to little details might make you misunderstand stuff, and it gets nerve wrecking fast. My advice would be to let it flow, to not play games for now, if you want to be with her, hang out and whatnot, just ask her out once, or twice, or three times. After you have something figured out about her, then it could be time to make a move. Let it flow man, dont let anxiety give you away, be chill.

But hey seems like you're over-thinking it a little too much. Yeah it's cool she didnt mind that quip and what the man said about you being together and all, that MIGHT point out to something. But as peaks said (and well) on the list thread, its about your instinct too. There are little things, like the ones i've mentioned, that are absolute giveaways.

But on the whole I do prefer Highway to Hell, just felt like putting LTBR on the list ..... Try again with Floyd, when they click you won't regret it, check out 'Comfortably Numb', 'Wish You Were Here', 'Brain Damage/Eclipse', 'Dogs' and 'Echoes'

| DaveyBoy Dead Silence is the only one of those I have listened to. Probably a 3.5. Unsure I have much to say about it tbh. But I will put together a sound off or detailed comment next week. Of the others, I will probably listen to The Darkness, but may not with the other 2. Not before 2012 is out anyway.

| Pestiferous Mastodon, even in their sludge days had good singable choruses (if a chorus existed at all) but honestly I don't see the point of a chorus. And I don't see how someone can't enjoy raw BM, check the early days of Burzum, or early days of Darkthrone, I mean, there is some good stuff to be found. I hope your opinion on BM wasn't derived from listening to but one album, because that's really kinda lame

| JokineAugustus Leprosy is 4th favorite. For me its TSOP, Human, Symbolic, Leprosy, Spiritual Healing, Scream Bloody Gore, Individual thought patterns. Ever listen to Meadows End or Laika (Canada)? Idk if you like melodic death but they are both pretty new bands that kick ass at the genre.

Just because you're a good reviewer and have written a lot, does not necessarily mean you meet what they have defined the Staff position to be. Different sites have different standards. Mine is a lot more laid back and will be more like a blogging community.
