 | Egarran What's up my good salad? Miss u.
 | StormChaser Sry I should visit my shoutbox more often it's been monthsFinally got around to reading your Paradigmes verdict, it's not what I hoped for but still glad you gave it a chance and at least dug it somewhatAnd thanks for saying nice Agalloch ratings, for me they're a tier above most bands for sure
 | Avagantamos https://occultresearch.bandcamp.com/album/kingtrips-ep15
 | Pon Had it wishlisted on rym but wasn't expecting it be on streaming so soon :o
 | JohnnyoftheWell woah, that is a development! which one!? the new one is nice and lovely but probably not the best starting point - I'd go for any of their landmarks and then maybe throw it on next (Nighttime or Planet are both nice starters, but they're all gooood)
 | CottonSalad I will not take lip from a man who would prefer to s*** via c-section
 | Avagantamos well the main styles I'm drawing inspiration from with my production techniques (and tutorials I look up) are drum
 | Havey many are sharing it on slsk, maybe you got screwed by the transliteration, idk which one is most accurate but theres "kokis" and "kokos" and "kokkos"
 | z00sh Yeah it's pretty dope! Should probably czech out his other material
 | Hyperion1001 hell yeah! they?re one of my all time favorites. there?s so much more than just drexciya too. Dopplereffekt, Transllusion, The Other People Place, Lab Ray XL. All James Stinson/Gerald Donald projects to check out.
 | Pheromone hahah that's super cool i like that or should i say - 8 44 2 8 7777... actually mine might be too long
 | Pheromone so i know who you mean by that but i also dont know what those numbers are - for some reason i searched for a binary translator online i am losing the plot
 | Pheromone my shoutbox is my secret hat, speak into it my child
 | Pheromone do you have any expensive hats i can borrow mr salad dude
 | GhandhiLion Have you heard Michael Nyman's water dances?
 | FR33L0RD nice, thanks man. You are top tier members, friend. Cheers!
 | Trifolium OH man that was nice, wasn't it? I want to go back there already. But alas, work beckons.
 | Trifolium I'm going there right NOW see you there? The sun is out so it's going to be wonderful!
 | DavidYowi Oh I?m listening to that right tf now ty!
 | Havey i can't help it i was born this way!
 | Pon I still peep a couple of their records a year cause they'll occasionally strike gold, but when they're bad, they're terribad lol
 | Pon Kairos as a whole gives me conniptions
 | parksungjoon yea he made a lot of good music that isnt just the ****ing blade runner soundtrack everyone jerks it to
 | parksungjoon i mean if it works for you dont let anyone stop you
 | parksungjoon huh... the nice shoutbox function chose to remove the word de.lete ... the question was why de.lete ratings
 | StormChaser Glad you liked the La Femme joint, can't see your blurb nowhere on the album thread tho!
 | Avagantamos the section about 18 minutes into track 11 was pretty good though
 | Avagantamos just checked out those tracks you recommended. there were some pretty neat textures and sounds, but overall I didn't find them to be arranged in a very interesting way. not quite an enjoyable listening experience for me, but I appreciate the suggestion!
 | dedex Oi nice! Cool you got something out of this messy-slash-lovely album woooo
 | DavidYowi I gave DB, Ygg Huur, and YPM a listen today. I need to relisten to them but I easily like YPM the best out of the three. From what I've listened to from this band, the ambient side of Krallice is the part of them I like the most.
 | JohnnyoftheWell heh, you're welcome - glad you got something out of it. am hoping to find myself with enough free time to do a proper haino marathon someday...
 | Havey ahem i hope you're not about to cheat and not stick with the plan!
 | Uzumaki Nice lol. Their previous album, ?No Need for Another History?, is very nice as well.
 | parksungjoon appreciate the shout but i unfortunately cant really fit podcasts into my schedule
 | DavidYowi Just dropped my year end list. I hope you enjoy it https://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?memberid=1195191

 | Havey oh Savall is one of the goats 100%, for covering both rare/esoteric repertoire and always having refreshing takes on the canon
 | Havey **** i forgot ampersands cut off comments... yeah there's possibly a reason why Telemann never caught my interest, but some great musicians have been occupied with his music, so i can't just write him off. i suppose his sets of fantasias for various instruments without accompaniment-including flute!-must be more interesting than the table music
 | Havey i see some great groups have recorded the fantazias, so i might get sent on a Purcell journey. the one by voix humaines may be interesting too, they're an imaginative group i think.
 | Havey don't think i have! never been a big Purcell admirer. a project of mine though is trying to find something to love in every major composer, and Purcell is still up in the air (pun intended), as is Telemann
 | Havey did you try slsk? otherwise you have to wait til monday for an upload from me
 | Hyperion1001 yeah I thought it was you based on that list lmao. i ****ing love silence, the plucked comb sounds in infinite snow are just **chefs kiss**
 | Hyperion1001 **** did you shoutbox me? I?m on my phone and it glitched out and I fat fingered and now I don?t know who it was lmao. think it was about monolake.
 | sometimes hmm interesting, ill keep it in mind
 | DDDeftoneDDD That a boy m/ year list is gaining (loosing) its shape m/

 | Gnocchi I think you misunderstand me
 | Gnocchi Just upset there?s no bacon in my salad
 | Gnocchi I have [finally] made it. I have been named by the cotton of the salad.
 | BigPleb Liverpool man, I've been to Leeds for a few shows before! Is that where you're based?
 | Hyperion1001 he?s my favorite metal guitarist of all time. such a completely unique style, no matter how many bands try they just can?t write riffs like him. gotta respect the OG?s imo

 | parksungjoon i'll take value wherever i can find it, especially since i cant seem to find it in the same places as a lot of people haha [:
 | parksungjoon lotta things i used to like that i dont anymore (and people mald at me for, go figure), but also lotta things im more able to appreciate. im happy with the trade off tbh
 | parksungjoon thats how ive been feeling for the past couple years
 | parksungjoon its nice to take a look back every now and then and realise how far you've come.
 | parksungjoon its a good album, synthy rush with dm vox, better than crimson 2 for my money
 | Trifolium Aaaiiyyyeeee hate it when that happens. But glad you enjoyed, it's a super lovely disk, such great vibes. Love her voice and love how quiet and calm it is. Will jam it myself tonight!
 | GhandhiLion Yes it's quite the trip! Maybe it's magma, maybe Stravinsky :]
 | Koris But yeah, right now, I'm studying music composition. I really want to compose for films and video games in the future, especially for video games since they influenced me more.
 | Koris Hey, sorry I forgot to reply back but thank you for the feedback on my piece! I'm already working on the next piece, and it's gonna be entirely a cappella as an experiment :]

 | Dewinged Yeah man, we usually pull from amazon or bandcamp, since it also has to be 300x300 px minimum, but I haven't found any source yet. I'll keep an eye, maybe we get smth as we get close to friday.
 | Dewinged tx Cotton! Unfortunately we can't pull artwork from Instagram posts, and there's also no info on which label is releasing it. If you come across any other trustful source, lemme know!
 | Koris Do you have Facebook? If you look up my full name, I'm the first result that shows up. I'd love to trade songs/pieces there. But if not, I'll definitely check your link. Here's the link to one of my pieces https://audiomack.com/brendan-schroer/song/the-unknown
 | Koris YES! And I've been composing a bunch of soundtrack-esque stuff recently... mostly inspired by video game soundtracks like Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger, but yeah. I've been more productive this year than ever before :]
 | Hyperion1001 he went a much different direction than OA but hes such a good producer that he can make really any genre work.

 | Havey sounds like a hoot! it may be useful to read what he has to say about his improvisation-composition unification process: https://www.pointofdeparture.org/PoD69/PoD69Barrett.html
 | Havey just a name to me aside from his music for cello and electronics (half-remembered). do you think binary systems is a good place to (re)start?
 | JohnnyoftheWell scotland is good and worth visiting, but you have to either get blackout or go hiking to make it worthwhile. didn't do enough of either when i last lived there, hoping i have grown since hm
 | parksungjoon The human being is a question asked by nature and answered by death.
 | Havey it?s relieving to find that Streaming is on streaming
 | Avagantamos did you ever hear this one? https://archive.org/details/echoplexreplication
 | GhandhiLion Hah sure but I have barely heard anything from 1980 - 2000s.
 | GhandhiLion Never heard that before. I haven't heard most of their albums yet :[ | Wow! It's a small world.
 | JohnnyoftheWell the netzone is fast, friendship is slow, and yet nothing is slower than the day i snoozed thru today alas
 | JohnnyoftheWell wow i did not reply i am a bad person - but yh, i think i agree re. alora? feels like a lovely spacious new(ish) twist on familiar toby driverisms, but idk how 'deep' any of those ideas go. glad those breaks got you back in one piece paha
 | JohnnyoftheWell don't count your chickens haha, lmk if those tunes lead you astray
 | JohnnyoftheWell hmmm noircity walk Rubio - Mango Negro, floaty immaterial walk Alora Crucible - whatever tf that album is called, frenetic get me tf home walk Gores*** - semantics: the benzo chronicles
 | JohnnyoftheWell oh my goodness a leading question um um um um i am nervous what are your means of transport and time of day and length of journey
 | JohnnyoftheWell Omg yes!! I hope??? I have no "nah" energy and I kinda enjoy this ambiguous footing but also it is scary?? Hey!
 | GhandhiLion I agree that Autoschediasms is better than For Lewis. | Thanks for the rec. I'll give it a try today.
 | Havey thanks for pointing me to the Lockwood, which seems like a must-hear. i know supersedure--when you said the best stuff wasn't listed i took it to mean not in the db (that album is in the db twice even), so i expected more of a hidden gem! but if you meant not listed among my ratings, fair
 | Havey i may be partial to La Casa's water/wind compositions since water and wind are two of the top 5 things to listen to ever (the other three being birds, frogs, and 18th century counterpoint) but you should tell me what you think their 'best work' is so that i can listen to it anyway
