 | sixdegrees you weren't a punchforpunch alt then? damb
 | PunchforPunch Hey dude, that was my alt you're asking recommendations to. I'll give u some later. amazing DnB collections u got there btw!
 | Pikazilla Yes, I believe it was the surreal clash of sounds that felt somewhat out of place to me. Echospace felt very well done and flowed seamlessly, while this one seemed almost random at times.
 | Pikazilla The title track was okay. It didn't quite grab me as hard as some others.
 | Pikazilla Also, I've listened to that Avalanches album. Some of it I love (Radio, Two Hearts in 3/4), some of it does nothing for me. Strange things.
 | Pikazilla Do you like Carbon Based Lifeforms, Solar Fields and Electric Universe? Just curious.
 | J() Alexander Lol no. I wouldn't do that, I think that if anything happened to me I'd be the kind of guy that gets kidnapped or murdered.
 | J() Alexander In cities like that some people consider going out alone at night suicide, since there's a decent chance you'll get kidnapped or randomly murdered. Even people who are less "paranoid" think it's a very bad idea, even if you stay alive, there's a still a possibility of getting assaulted and robbed.
 | J() Alexander Well, yeah, I'd say the news are accurate. I live in a place where not too much happens but even not too long ago, a few months, they killed some dude close to where I live, his blood was all over the road, a long red line of around 500 meters of length. That's just one particular thing that happened where I live and as I said it is fairly calm around here; then there's other cities like Ciudad Juarez where people disappear every week and there's cartel wars all over the place.
 | J() Alexander It looks like I did. When I made the cut I didn't even feel it (well, I did feel a cut, but I thought it was nothing because it didn't hurt) then I noticed I could see the hypodermis (the last layer of skin) and a moment later I started to bleed quite a bit. I think my friends got a bit scared.
 | J() Alexander Some place in Mexico. I have a few siblings. Highschool. And, uh... I have a scar in my left hand I got when I tried to see how sharp an utility knife was; I thought it was blunt but apparently it wasn't.
 | J() Alexander There's nothing wrong with me! Well, nothing in particular!
 | artiswar =/ I'm sure he's okay, he's just being... edgy. I'm sure he's not sewing human skin masks
 | Pikazilla Hai. I listened to Echospace. It was a really weird experience. If I had to describe it, it was like listening to an astral-projecting soundtrack - if such a thing even exists lol. I enjoyed it a lot, but I did have problems figuring out when a song started/ended. Is that normal?
 | Pikazilla Ok, thank you very much! I apologise for deleting your first google doc post, because I genuinely thought it was a virus clickbait thingie. I am not the most internet-savvy person out there. I will check everything out and report back as soon as I'm done listening to everything (:
 | Pikazilla Did you post another google doc link like 30 mins ago? For some reason, the posted appeared anonymous so it scared me lol
 | Pikazilla Precisely! I don't mind if it has beats or if it's beatless. I just love ambient music in general, but unfortunately I've mainly been able to experience the rock/metal side of it. It doesn't have to have vox.
 | Pikazilla Hai. In continuation of the Flying Lotus thread, would you mind recommending me some good electronic albums for beginners? Something ambient would be nice. Thank you (:
 | sixdegrees It's Everyday Bro on the other hand is a banger ofc
 | sixdegrees have not heard but looks like it didn't live up to the hype?
 | J() Alexander Oh, alright, lol. Well, Ravel and Debussy, let's see... Well, Ropartz has some string quartets, and I guess that you want something modern before the post-war era that isn't atonal, you can try Bartok, Stravinsky, Schoenberg's first string quartet (only the first one), Prokofiev and Hindemith.
 | J() Alexander Sure, Debusy is fairly unique but I can name a few. The obvious ones are Maurice Ravel and Erik Satie, but I suppose you know them already; if you don't, listen to them, particularly Ravel, Satie is kind of overrated. Lili Boulanger has a small body of work but it is worth listening to, there's also these two Spanish composers Isaac Albeniz and Manuel de Falla... Oh and Guy Ropartz, another French.
 | J() Alexander Damn, if no one in slsk has it it is going to be very hard to find. Good luck with that.
 | J() Alexander You 5.0 Bach's St. Matthew Passion. I like that. So how did you end up in this site?
 | Ryus i think ive heard them a long time ago but i dont remember how i felt, thanks for the rec. youve gone some fine taste yourself, we seem to be on the same wavelength in terms of electronic
