 | cycosynner Thanks for the recs!! I haven't heard Falling Up in such a long time. I wasn't too big on Crashings but Dawn Escapes has got some good stuff. I kinda wish they'd stayed in that direction rather than going more experimental. I dig some FFTG as well!
 | garas Thank you for the reminder my friend, I almost forgot about it!
 | garas Ah, thanks friend!! These kind words mean a lot zo me, I really appreciate it!
 | Bedex Happy you liked them! With the Elil avatar it was a pretty safe rec, but I do think they deserve more attention :] yea I hope they come back to the sound of their first album in the future - although I'm not even sure they are still active. We'll see!
 | garas I threw a few names and link together which should be enough for one or two sessions. Do you have discord or something? I don't trust the soundoff box, since it often works... mysteriously.
 | garas Heyo! :] You came to the right man, my dude! I don't have a specific playlist, but I have a couple albums/artists who should be perfect for you. I'm not sure in what format, but I'll make you a list!
 | Bedex sounds great! Have fun with Celeste too I remember jamming them some years ago m/
 | Bedex cool I hope you enjoyed the rest of the album! If you jammed the whole thing pls try and think to drop it a rating, I don't think their s/t is getting the attention it deserves - cheers!
 | Bedex heya, given I saw you rec Fall of Efrafa in one of the threads and considering your Elil avi I strongly suggest you check this :] https://www.sputnikmusic.com/soundoff.php?albumid=97480
 | garas Yup, I think you got the point ;] (I wish this could happen to me too, I don't feel any creative at all...). And I'm pretty sure I won't 5.0 Slugdge, but some Mollusca-death metal can't hurt, haha!
 | garas Oh indeed, I've heard good news from there. I just can't wait to see the end of this madness now, especially because I see people are acting more and more stupid... At least 2020 treats us with lots of great music lately.
 | garas That's a very moderate way to summarize, hahaha! I hope you or you country isn't (really) affected by it!
 | garas Yeah, I've noticed - still, it is nice to hear about you sometime! Especially in these weird times with the plague and others. Also, I'm trying my best to keep that DS list going, but since I'm busier than ever, it is getting hard, heh.
 | garas How are things going with you, pal? Sometimes I spotted some comment drops by you here and there - don't think I did not notice, I'm just... getting forgetful, sorry about that.
 | garas Anytime! :] And I feel you man, finding some free time is getting harder and harder in my case as well...
 | garas Hey friend, have you heard this? :] https://forlorncitadel.bandcamp.com/album/ashen-dirge-of-kingslain Also, I barely see ya around, life is busy, huh?
 | garas Oh yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah! "The Palms Of Sorrowed Kings" was a beautiful album! A bit too modern for my taste, but nonetheless it was outstanding! These guys are really talented. Thanks for the rec, friend! \m/
 | garas Hi! The cover looks familiar, but I never heard it before - I'll check it out very soon!!
 | garas Thank you!!(I saw you rated my awful first demo as well. I can agree on that 2.0, I wish I could wipe it out from existence...)
 | garas Hahaha! Nice theory! :] I have no idea why, but Iceland and the icelandic BM scene is on a whole new level.
 | garas Ah, I guess you're not that "24/7 music ON" type like me then. And thanks for the rec! I only heard a Drachenfeuer track in one of those Shadowlore compilations, but a Balrog-Kirkwood combo is something I could enjoy a lot! :]Oh, and yes, you gotta hear the other Batushka too! It was surprisingly good. And if you have some time, check out Andavald - Undir skyggðarhaldi. (Insanely good black metal!)
 | garas Hi man! I've finished a new dungeon synth album, I hope you might be interested! https://frohvahr.bandcamp.com/album/dungeon-ghostsOtherwise, what's up? Have you discovered anything cool lately?
 | garas Hi!! Here it comes my best DS discovery this year (so far): https://vinterdvala.bandcamp.com/album/historien-om-de-sju-trollgubbarna I love it so much!! A totally overlooked gem.
 | garas Hi! Have you heard this one? https://ardetharecords.bandcamp.com/album/the-coldtears-of-monolithCalm and relaxing dark ambient / dungeon synth - I almost fell asleep while listening (I mean this in a very positive way)
 | garas Hehehehe :) Yesss, it's him! Awesome BM project - I really love that album. Easily in my top10 this year so far.
 | garas Agreed, one of the best DS this year so far! That guy is super talented, he made a fantastic BM ablum too. (Warmoon Lord)You're welcome ;)
 | garas Ah mannnn! The newest Old Sorcery is so goooood!https://oldsorcery.bandcamp.com/album/strange-and-eternal
 | garas I usually listen new stuff on bandcamp, and if I like something I buy/download it. There are some exceptions: like Mayhem, Darkthrone, Ulver etc. where I instant preorder them to have them in physical and I listen them first on CD/cassette.
 | garas Thanks!! It must be a huge list~ How do you listen (new) music? Do you download them?
 | garas Aaaaah! Sorry for all these questions, I'm just trying to improve myself to make better music - some criticism helps.Anyway, have you heard about Urthrax? https://urthrax.bandcamp.com/ Very interesting DS project!
 | garas Oh, hehe. Beacuse that part was way too random or beacuse I'm pretty bad on guitar? Thanks, I'll check it out! :)
 | garas The Dolch demo was great! Those random voices were pretty funny, but kinda creepy in the same time. Thanks! If you have more old-school DS like this, please let me know!
 | garas Thank you for the kind words! I'm very glad you liked it! It seems the second track is a bit divisive: some people said they loved it, some don't - because of the guitar part. And thanks for the rec, I'll check it asap!!
 | garas Ah, I guess your rhythm sense is much better than mine! I heard just a few mistakes. I should re-listen that more carefully, I think. But I'm happy because you also felt that great potential!
 | garas Ahoy! It's been a while since the last time I could recommend something, but here you go: https://veligor.bandcamp.com/album/shadow-of-forgotten-realm This might be the best new DS I heard in a while!
 | mrdogthrow i dont ****ing know youyou dont ****ing know mebut **** new fallujah
 | garas Oh my, another Chaucerian Myth album is released, and probably it's the very best from him!!!You *must* listen it! (The Epic of Beileag, Part III)
 | garas Cool! I'm curious how will you like 'em!
 | garas Still, a 2,5 is a lot better :)Have you heard the new Chaucerian Myth album? That was pretty good one!And lately I discovered Fiendish Imp, a very nice lo-fi DS project. Check them out ;)
 | DoofDoof you get the idea with rating stuff, nice, 100%
 | garas Umm... 1,5 on Ancient Woods by Eternal Fear? Why? I think that one was great!
 | garas Thanks for your recs! I really liked Morketsvind
 | garas Hey! I've just finished Inoriand's full disc' and...it was kinda "meh", I added some missing stuff and I must say latest EP was good. For winter synth, you should check out Voronmrak and Ancient Boreal Forest. Both pretty good.
 | garas Hey! Thanks for the message, and the recommendation of Inoriand: I'll check it out in the next days!Oh, and I'm also about to explore more winter synth / winter ambient in the close future. If I find something good, I'll let you know
 | ArsMoriendi Next round starts tomorrow night and I'm eliminating anyone who doesn't have a rec in by then.
