 | Everyone2 How does it feel to look at me, your very lonesome creation, the one you failed to give a single s*** about, and come to terms with the fact that this is your fault. I am the fruit of your sour branch and I have come to look your oak in the face and spit on your roots. You have failed me in life and I will take it no longer. You have spent many years forging the perfect enemy.-Sowing
 | Papa Universe Cause you didn't show at January thread, so I didn't know if you're still interested at all.
 | Papa Universe I hope you remember that you're in charge of February Casual Convos thread.
 | Get Low It said "invalid invite link" :O
 | Get Low I forgive you. Please have someone invite me back to the server; I'm done being a sadboi.
 | Get Low My feelings were hurt. I logged in right after I saw you guys making fun of me for threatening to leave, so I left. Basically, I'm sensitive af.
 | J() Alexander Oh yeah, that. It'll take some time to change... Some hours... Maybe like a day... Maybe two... I don't remember. But it'll change.
 | ZombieToyDuck Yeah for sure, I'd take this above most early 90's metal I've heard. The songwriting and vocals are top notch. I love how present the bass is despite how massive the guitar riffs and melodies are.
 | Hawks I downloaded both albums so I?ll jam the other one at some point soon.
 | Hawks And also that Hell album slaps.
 | Hawks Listen to Ugra Karma I think you?d dig. Very thrashy, grind-esque bm if that sounds like your kinda thing.
 | Hawks Have u ever jammed Impaled Nazarene???
 | rockandmetaljunkie thanks for the heads up, i would rec you sth too to return the favor but i have no idea what kind of metal you enjoy the most
 | Hawks I haven?t heard Scorn Defeat yet actually I?m gonna have to get on it.
 | Hawks In all seriousness, jam Infidel Art by Sigh if you?ve never heard it. Old-school thrashy bm, I think you?d dig.
 | Thalassic Just checked the song "The Mirror Calls". Not bad, but I don't see myself getting into it. Can't really get down with a lot of proggy/tech thrash these days.
 | Drifter The Perfect Element write up done! https://www.sputnikmusic.com/list.php?listid=180406
 | DePlazz Lol, is Cyclotron like Sput's ultimate prog/tech thrash hater?
 | DePlazz Thanks, neat stuff. The leads really rule.
 | Thalassic Thanks for the rec. Just checked. Not bad, I sense a bit of Voivod in there as well. Not completely in love with it, but definitely solid. It might be a tad too obscure to be considered a cult classic, but that may be my take on things.
 | Rowhaus really good album. I tend not to be huge on the operatic vox in thrash but they were fine. The riffs were off the hook!
 | Rowhaus no, looks sick tho. good thrash?
 | DePlazz I've been checking out some of your obscure prog thrash recs, cool list. Will continue to check. Corum is really good, kind of like a metal-focused version of Thought Industry's first 2. Check out the Absurdē s/t EP, I only just found out about it
 | J() Alexander I know you recommended to me quite some time ago but I just listened to a couple of Psychotic Waltz albums and they're pretty damn good.
 | RunOfTheMill Haha yes, found one you haven't listened to. It's a good, no-bulls***, sorta lo-fi trad heavy metal album from Japan, catchy songs and great guitar work m/
 | Ocean of Noise For sure dude, prog thrash is always great. I'll be sure to check it out!
 | Get Low I'm limiting you to one rec per year.
 | Rowhaus hell yeah bro! just jammed that on Friday actually m/
 | DarkSideOfLucca I have a three and a half hour drive back home today, I'll put it on the playlist man
 | J() Alexander Ummmmmmh... No, I haven't. Thanks for the rec, gonna listen to them asap.
 | RunOfTheMill I think i have checked that one, the vocals kinda turned me off, but I'd have to check again, good reminder
 | RunOfTheMill Annihilator, Exciter, Devin Townsend, Sacrifice, Razor, Voivod, Gorguts, Obliveon, Infernal Majesty, Dyoxen, Quo Vadis... A few others that I can't think of rn
 | RunOfTheMill Will check those out, but I have another request : know any old school Canadian stuff? Always looking for that stuff, I've got a radio show and it's always a bit of a challenge playing Canadian stuff that isn't the same 10-15 bands over and over.
 | RunOfTheMill My new goal in life is to find an old school metal release that's so obscure even you haven't heard it haha. That being said, any recs?
 | RunOfTheMill Check Infected - Dark Century if you haven't already
 | Thealwaysopenedmind Thanks for the Recs. I'll let you know what I think. I'm currently listening to Sieges Even.
 | DePlazz Thanks m8, will check. Kaleidoscope is the only thing I know on that list :-)

 | RippingCorpse1986 Only albums I've jammed by them are Nosferatu and A Distant Thunder, didn't rate them though. Been meaning to delve deeper into their stuff, especially the most recent releases (only heard Glory of Chaos).
 | Kaiwaz That would kick ass if you did
 | Kaiwaz Do you like Of One Blood?
 | Get Low I did listen to the first album on Youtube. Check the thread for my opinion of it, lol.
 | Get Low I'll check them out. Thanks for the rec.
 | Rowhaus I mean it's not like I insulted or harassed anyone. I'd understand under those circumstances. People can be so petulant on this site man smh
 | Rowhaus yeah bro I love that record with all my heart m/ I decided to just take down the little ratings I had. What's even the point now lol
 | manosg Yeah gave it a quick listen while working and, as expected, it slays. Also, glad to see you rating Nektar. The guy who produced their debut was a prominent Krautrock figure.
 | manosg Yup and they still got it!
 | manosg Agreed. A 3.5 is where it's at for me as well. A bit long for what it is, but these guys have progressed considerably from their EP and they may make some more noise in the future. Finally checked Matthias Steele today in its entirety and I liked it. Don't love the sound of the drums and the vocals are a bit off when he does those King Diamond-esque highs but overall, great find man.
 | manosg Awesome. Hope you enjoy, man.
 | manosg Hey Cas, haven't jammed the whole album yet dude. Will definitely let you know once I do.
 | manosg Oh I can definitely believe it. Before you mentioned them, I had no idea who they were. I know Voivod has uploaded a bunch of little known bands, but not a lot of people create pages for obscure metal acts. Really nice find though.
 | manosg Will definitely do. Actually, I checked bits and pieces from Haunting Tales and I really liked what I heard. I will jam the whole thing and let you know.
 | budgie i'll be sure to visit those albums, thanks!
 | budgie i used to jam nosferatu but haven't heard anything else from them
 | DePlazz Hey man, didn't write much about it did I lol? I should probably rejam this track by track. It was my general impression after 2-3 listens to the album as a whole. Great band overall, definitely needs more ratings
 | DoofDoof Only recently, been listening to their three 'classics' a lot over the last two years though
 | Flugmorph you dont answer in your own shoutbox, a typical mistake for beginners.
 | Voivod Just saw your rating for the first Soul Cages album, so I'm glad there's another individual here knows/remembers them. Gonna see them live tonight.
