| hal1ax there are arguments against the feasibility of nuclear, especially relative to tech advances in fields of geothermal / solar / wind. but i agree that nuclear seemingly has the capacity to take us waaay into the future. thorium reactors sound dope af. seems like they would need a lot of gov support in their infancy tho, since it's an insanely expensive venture to get them up and running and i think a lot of private power-corps are shying away from it because the risk involved

| hal1ax do you want to eventually see nuclear power replace natural gas from fracking? what are your thoughts on fracking? i was reading yang's position on fracking which was interesting. i guess he wanted to form a committee to evaluate fracking-wells to determine their potential risk factor for damaging water supplies and then only eliminate those that possessed risk.

Private loans would help develop more marketable professions, but then again, is that at the cost of almost severing one?s ability to go into a more non-marketable profession good? So would like a philosophy major have a higher interest rate as his likelihood to default on his debt is higher than say an engineer ?

I would like to see underfunded schools get more of a boost and maybe some curriculum fixes, student debt restructuring, etc.
