| Dedes 3.5 is still quite good!!! It is, in fact an incredibly positive rating!!! I do like the incredibly chaotic whiplash nature of it but I think I do have a preference for when DF go into gnarlier almost slam-esque territory. Also life's been on an exciting comeuppance. Boutta have a 2nd part time job netting 23 an hour, gonna purchase an LLC within the next month or so to own a restaraunt (then it's only a matter of saving the nearly 100k of startup cost lmao.

I adore when flourishing acoustics falir up in my beats and oml does that album HAVE it. I'm prolly gonna binge Cave In but maybe i'll come back to Oneirology soon.

| Feather The Canyon is my fave, but also their most 'different'. The entire record is less polished, the songs are less immediate/catchy, just the black sheep in their discog. They barely play it live AT ALL. In fact they have already played their 2023 album more live than The Canyon which is from 2017 lol

I guess if you took the sludge elements of Gaza as well as the insane misanthropy and added much, much lower tunings that'd be akin to what Admiral Angry is like.

I was playing league when I first jammed it and gave it a pause by track 2 cause it was simply too freaky and wild and uncomfortable to not give a dedicated listen. What's wild is so many of these sounds aren't even programmed. It's all one dude just utilizing odd objects i.e for the t/t intro he used a straw and grated it through a hole in a piece of tin with a contact mic to pull the sound off. I love noise sampling in that vein man.

| Dedes Oh dude it's actually such a new wave of heavy that it makes me rethink just how well realized intensity in metalcore can be. There's such an impressive slew of influences ranging from Converge to Nails to FOH to straght ****ing death industrial. Also apparently Embodiment of Grief is a continuation of Whispers of Your Death and follows the process of grief never leaving even over time. Real sad s***.

| twlight i hear that brotha, life is a rollercoaster but all we can do is try to make the right decisions and treat people correctly. no one ever regretted being kind. and Watch Out is my personal fav of thiers... its raw and No Transitory is like the greatest post hardcore song of all time... it's textbook. Crisis is phenomenal as well, we're lucky a band like them exists

Was shocked when it was more like an ethereal alt metal/slighttttly hardcore blend.
