 | kildare Excellent. I really do try to keep things concise. The downside of not having an editor is that I want to KEEP IT ALL, and don't have anyone to point to a paragraph and say "that stuff is fluff. Cut it out." But that's part of the challenge of writing reviews, I guess.

As the most vocal Sputnik proponent and practitioner of short reviews, I was hoping you could answer a question for me: Are my long reviews an actual INCONVENIENCE for anyone on the staff? Or are they merely ignored? I'm like "the hell with it" if it's the latter, but if I'm actually creating a problem I'll put in the work to shorten it.

| Sowing Really didn't like the new Deaf Havana album. That and Rituals are both so bland compared to how inspired they sounded on All These Coutnless Nights. I do think the song you mentioned was one of the better cuts, but for me the highlight was Trying/Falling. Very pretty ballad.
