| ArsMoriendi I'm a mad man so I went through your entire list. These following artists need 1 more tag to be new wave: Ian Dury and the Blockheads, Family Fodder (art pop new wave), The The (art pop new wave), The Vapors.
| ArsMoriendi So exactly what obscure ratings of yours do need the new wave tag anyway?
| Squiggly Thank you so much! Makes a lot of sense!
| SlothcoreSam Got a new one for ya. The debut of Basketball Divorce Court - Rebound, it's punky riot grrrl.

| Squiggly Hey Sandwich, I have a review for Cardiacs? A Little Man
| SlothcoreSam The latest album wasn't too bad, had some Wavves, Cloud Nothings vibes,so kinda heard it all before. I'll check some of their other stuff. My brand of pop punk is more classified as melodic punk, or DIY emo. I actually hate real pop punk, the over produced, music industry whores.
| SlothcoreSam K will check, you should check the new album by Portable Heads, came out this week. It's really good noise rock with post punk vibes

| SlothcoreSam I've come across a heap of great older punk and post punk compilations on Spotify. However it's really hard tracking down the bands discography, YouTube seems the best. Do you have any other sites to find rare music?

| Get Low Hey, I was wondering if you could do me a favor, and use your developer tools to edit Sikth's album "The Trees Are Dead
| SlothcoreSam Is that a Tuba? Musically it's really cool arty cow punk, vocals are very raw anarcho punk and great. Production is very unpolished, but it kinda adds to the sound, yeah I'm loving this thanks.

| ArsMoriendi I don't really I know, but their song Woof Woof has been a recent obsession, so I think I'm gonna do a deep dive in May. (I'd do it sooner, but I owe Melody's Echo Chamber its due since they have a new album coming out in a week and I get into things slowly lol and I'm currently preoccupied with Mazzy's Seasons...and I'm slow with music haha)

| SlothcoreSam Yeah that is one of life's biggest questions. Shall I catch up on all the great old albums rediscovering all the hidden gems, or do I keep on top of all the latest releases trying to find the next big thing. Only so much time in the day. Ps showing off great post punk/noise punk, listening to The Gordons 1st album from 1981 right now, and it's fantastic!
| SlothcoreSam There are 56 pages/editions, all that long, spanning 1982-1988, so enough to keep busy for a lifetime.
| SlothcoreSam To get to the next issue of the magazine change the mmr-1 to mmr-2 in the address bar, and so on. There is so much gold to be found. YouTube has most of the releases, as they are not on Streaming services.
| SlothcoreSam Hey sanga, have I got some homework for you. I've been slowly going through the maximum rock n roll reviews, there are some classics and a lot of hard to find albums and EPs reviewed. A lot of it would be right up your alley. So since you finished your user rec list, I recommend you start perusing this. https://www.maximumrocknroll.com/review/issues/mrr-1/
| Divaman That new Monochrome Set LP is actually pretty good.
| Divaman Yeah, me too. I just came off an '80s music cruise, and I randomly looked them up to see if they play live shows so I'd know whether to suggest them for a future cruise, and I saw that they just put out a new album. I added it to their Sputnik page earlier today.
| Divaman Hey Sandwich, did you see that Monochrome Set just released a new album a couple of weeks ago?
| parksungjoon pre-berlin bowie, 70s talkin heads, early xtc... bits of clash maybe, pretty fn cool!

| Dewinged mr. Sandwich truffle, was it you who told me of adding the cover for o'summer's EP? I just found it and added it to database.

| SlothcoreSam Oh sweet, sounds promising, I'll give them a spin!
| zakalwe The 1975 sound like 2003, and I mean that in the worst way possible. Hahahaha that is quality.

| protokute Hey man, I thought you could like Flying Color self titled album released in 1987. A lot of that good twang and jangle with nice harmonies, similar to Salvation Army, The Plimsouls, Game Theory.
| ArsMoriendi lol don't copy paste my picks. That'd be awful
| ArsMoriendi I see you haven't voted, but if you vote maybe Saltergasp will make the EP list? :P
| SlothcoreSam Lol, it's a refreshment break from your list. 7 songs over 2 EPs, should take you around 22 minutes, unless you listen to it on repeat cus you like it so much.
| SlothcoreSam You ever checked DA? I feel like their 2 EPs from the early 80s would be your kinda thing. Female fronted Gothic Post Punk. Their song Dark Rooms is an inst-5

| Bedex I'll check it very soon! the debut got me real excited
| Bedex O dwich dwich the wise why do so few people listen to Ludus on this site, band's friggin awesome
| SlothcoreSam Hey, I gotta redeem myself after that mediocre rec. This one is Anarcho-Punk out of the UK, Anthrax - Serfs Out. It has all those classic punk elements, with better production, and modern day lyrics. Their previous album from 2012 was really good as well. They are originally a UK82 band.
| SlothcoreSam Lol, it's hard to relate as it's a lot of woe is me I'm a girl, and I'm a victim of a predatory older male. Which if true, is brave of her.
| SlothcoreSam New Foxx Bodies, got some good tracks, and some blandness as well

| Storm In A Teacup That is funny because those are the first two songs I made and spent the most time working on. Probably double whatever comes in 3rd. Those two songs are a year old everything else less than 6 months old. Hmm
| Storm In A Teacup Saw your rating. Thanks so much for trying! Any one song you liked or a wash all of them?

| robertsona nah dude that's what it is I mean I don't want to hate or anything but it's just one of those situations. bands hate to hear it but: they're a live band first and foremost. every song was better live, including on my recording at the broadway. sorry. especially with rosie slater on drums but the guy in the baby's all right show with the new material was really good too. its pretty good but it's way less danceable and fun and funky and scary it's kinda wallpaper-y tbh
| robertsona https://soundcloud.app.goo.gl/j4Ywa2AE4MNz1QcLAThe iPhone voice memo king is bacK
| robertsona thanks for backing me up king! lolol. hope you're well

| JohnnyoftheWell yes yes yes the wallaby man went too far. and you will get lucky; their next will be a drastic step down and you will have no choice to 0.5 rev it and then all will be well
| JohnnyoftheWell Hmmmmmmm is it perhaps something blamable on thee Nation Statee of AUSTRALIA? because if so, let that be your route perhaps
| JohnnyoftheWell your rampage of terror ends here!! but mainly that rating put me under sudden anxiety inducing pressure to justify my btbam 0.5 with my ears, and this is too much

| SlothcoreSam Nice Killers rating, I don't get the hype at all, it's very average.
| robertsona "mine" and "design" were def my two least favorites from their initial set. the fact that they've yet to release, say, "memories" (roving detective bassline song) gives me hope. but [repeating myself] I just wish they had Rosie on the kit...
| robertsona new gustaf single is better than the other two, altho its prob time to accept that theyre a live band like countless other brooklyn postpunkers

| zakalwe All depends on what you feel is the best of the lot.
| Britch2tiger No bother at all, I just know context is needed for my reasoning at times. It's just pretext for anyone willing to go the distance to listen for such albums.
| Britch2tiger Otherwise if found on another medium they'd be considered unofficial, but still possible to rate them since randos manage to post/share the content online (ex: Acid Rain's We Were All Very Worried)
| Britch2tiger Re-release in that a select album is found on another medium. Vinyl-only or cassette-only albums are much harder to listen/rate, so I give accounts a pretext to how difficult it would be to rate them.
| Britch2tiger I mark [Vinyl] or [Cass] (cassette) for clarity.
| Britch2tiger Regarding vinyl, as far as I've researched those specific albums don't have a CD re-release to their title. Less likely to be digital releases as well.
