| romulanrancor Glad to see Mindcrime on there, It's probably in my top 5
| romulanrancor Ooh that's fair enough. Do you have a no.1 or can you not choose?
| romulanrancor A lot of rap, a bit of hardcore, and a lot of death grips
| romulanrancor you good man, jamming nothing out of the regular though haha

| romulanrancor you know it's a concept album, you should read into the story
| romulanrancor damn i thought you would have already heard it haha, dude it's amazing
| romulanrancor I just wanted to give panzerfaust a higher average than it does
| romulanrancor But then most of my list would be Darkthrone, Bathory, and Burzum haha
| romulanrancor Not going to argue 1 though, would be in my top 10 if I wasnt doing an album per band
| romulanrancor Plus Apocalyptic Raids has nothing on Satanic Rites, or their other 2 demos for that matter
| romulanrancor Not bad, Sodom would be nowhere near top 10 for me though
| StrikeOfTheBeast Ouch that song rules, but at least you love the record. It's just essential thrash; it's the ****in' m/
| romulanrancor Burzum - Hvis lyset tar oss, Darkthrone - A Blaze in the Northern Sky, Bathory - Under the Sign of the Black Mark, Agalloch - Ashes Against the Grain, Celtic Frost - Morbid Tales, Ulver - Bergtatt - Et eeventyr i 5 capitler, Kvelertak - Kvelertak, ColdWorld - Melancholie, Emperor - In the Nightside Eclipse, Alcest - Ecailles de Lune
| romulanrancor i have like top 10 black metal, and top 10 thrash metal, idk if i could do a top 25 metal
| romulanrancor It changes with me a lot tbh, It's either s/t, number or power for me. SiT is a close 4th though
| romulanrancor You have some good picks man, typical ones but none the less classics
| manosg Pentagram are as doom metal as Black Sabbath, meaning that there are some elements but calling them doom metal is a bit restrictive. I always considered a US/street version of Black Sabbath. I'd definitely recommend you First Daze Here. Regarding doom metal that is quite close to EDM, I'd suggest Sorcerer - In the Shadow of the Inverted Cross. One of the best metal albums of the last few years.
| manosg Sure, dude. Diary of a Madman is one, generally I'm not a big fan of Ozzy's discog. Welcome to Hell is another. I love what Venom have done but I wouldn't have them on a GOAT list, most influential absolutely. Spectrum of Death too, even though it slays. Knowing your taste a bit, I'd expect you to have albums like Sad Wings of Destiny, Mercyful Fate - Melissa, something from Slayer, Lightning to the Nations, etc. But overall, it's a solid list man. Have you checked Pentagram - First Daze Here?
| budgie dude if you haven't done a proper burzum tour you gotta check out the Aske EP asap. i don't have much love for the dude either but Aske is a god of a record
| romulanrancor You do know that Varg is on De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas as well?
| romulanrancor Even worse in fact, he was planning to torture Varg to death
| romulanrancor I mean, I get that but Euronymous would have done the same to him if he had the chance.
| romulanrancor i have heard a bit of it yeah, it's sounding good man
| romulanrancor you should check the debut out, it's got like a filthy 1st wave black thrash
| romulanrancor huh unpopular opinion haha, schizophrenia rules though
| romulanrancor been jamming a load of sepultura recently, what's your favourite alb?
| romulanrancor no track stands out to me really as being the best, wbu?
| budgie man that is no easy feat. hellhammer/CF, darkthrone, sleep, megadeth, ulver, black sabbath, i really can't bring it down to 5.
| Dewinged Nailed one of my fave albums. Good job man! 7th Son forevah!
| romulanrancor they recently posted on fb that they're not, bit of a scare though haha
| budgie did you buy the ITSOE 12"? it sounds so ****ing swell
| Jom Hey dude, thank you for voting! Wanted to alert you that the Kendrick comp would fall under an LP vs. an EP for this particular feature, so if you wanted to adjust it before Tuesday, you are more than welcome to do so. We don't exactly have the best system here, but I appreciate your contribution. Thanks!
| ScuroFantasma Fair enough, well my biggest recomendation after that would be Ulver - Nattens Madrigal
| romulanrancor Yeah I've been jamming Blackstar recently, Lazarus is amazing man
| budgie yeah they arent super great. but wtf go put on evil power, deathhammer

| romulanrancor TWIST YOUR MINDS WITH FEAR! IM THE MAN WITH THE POWER, AMONG THE LIVING! FOLLOW ME OR DIE!
| budgie IM THE SWINGIN MANMY FEET NEVER TOUCH THE GROUND
| romulanrancor im not even sure tbh, i really don't jam it that much. the philosopher i guess
| Snowdog808 Glad you liked it! I'm sure you'd have no problem enjoying Control and Resistance then.
| danielcardoso american football is good but there's a couple of stuff i'd rec you first tbf. slint - spiderland is best math imo. drive like jehu, jesus lizard, shellac, rodan, june of 44, tiny moving parts are all great too and generally good starting points.
| romulanrancor Yeah I understand that, The vocals definitely seem to be at the forefront of the mix
| romulanrancor I still prefer DM and Load atm, but that could potentially change
| romulanrancor yeah definitely, what do you think you're going to rate it?
| romulanrancor one thing's for sure though, spit out the bone is a ****ing tune
| romulanrancor I have yeah, im not completely decided on what i think of it yet really
| romulanrancor yeah that one is great too, not quite the first 3 but yeah rules
| romulanrancor that's the 4th game right, it's called gladiator over here
| romulanrancor The newest game ive bought is fallout 4 haha, which i do like
| romulanrancor could have sworn i sent a message, yeah i had them removed
| romulanrancor ive just been jamming random black metal and hip hop albums
| romulanrancor nice, horrorscope is great, and yeah you should check out the new darkthrone. i dont think im going to bother with the new opeth tbh
| StrikeOfTheBeast Personal reasons. Things got very hairy under the other account.
| StrikeOfTheBeast Hey buddy it's Mike, previously known as the dick cake guy. This is my new account. A lot of s*** went down on my last one (that's an understatement) so I've started from scratch with this one to put all that behind. Just figured you'd know that. So how's everything going?
| romulanrancor I really wish I got that reference haha, im slippin these days
| miketunneyiscool123 If you mean PURE death metal, my favorite from the 80's so far is Death's Leprosy. That album is dense as **** and kicks serious ass. Morbid Angel's Altar of Madness does too. Probably a tie or close second.
| romulanrancor Already heard the first 3 tracks, thought it was good but 2nd best thrash? ****
| romulanrancor ive only heard agent orange and in the sign of evil
| romulanrancor probably not, i need to check out some of their classic material really
| miketunneyiscool123 Aside from their early works and a few of their post-revival albums, I still got some catching up to do with their mid 90's and late 00's and 10's works. I'll get around to it though.
| AlexKzillion Not sure if I like it so much because I actually think it's good or if it's because it actually exists. Then again I didn't really like Lords of Summer so idk.
| AlexKzillion Not gonna front I ****ing loved it. What did you think of it?
| miketunneyiscool123 They're a great group, and you can get into them with any album they've made.
| miketunneyiscool123 If you haven't already, feel free to check out my newest album review of Metal Church's Hanging In The Balance.
| miketunneyiscool123 True. They made the long-songs thing work out on AJFA so I see no problem with longer tracks.
| miketunneyiscool123 The snare was too loud on Death Magnetic imo, but aside from being loud, it's tolerable. I hope they add more thrash this time around too.
| miketunneyiscool123 I've been alright myself. Busy too, but I've been able to catch up on here. Found a lot of new thrash digs the past month or so. Glad to see you're still here.
| romulanrancor Cult Of Luna or Vektor probably. I'm guessing yours is Blackstar still?
| romulanrancor Yeah, I've been wanting to check out the new Radiohead. It isn't on Spotify yet though unfortunately.
| romulanrancor yeah, you rec'd it to me before. just never got around to it
| romulanrancor I wouldn't know, I haven't really looked into lyrics much. I mean obviously there are similar themes across the album but idk about it being a concept album.
| romulanrancor It took a long time to fully appreciate and digest, but it was absolutely worth the time I put into it
| Tunaboy45 Glad you liked it, yeah no problem we can share haha. Blackstar is definitely up there with his best.
| romulanrancor DISPITE THE SUITS, I IGNITE, THEN I WATCH EM BURN! BUURRNN!
| romulanrancor years of decay is a classic mate, and bobby is a sick vocalist. dd is also a rad bassist.
| romulanrancor I will get around to it sometime, just jamming so much at the moment haha
| romulanrancor Idek, that's a really tough question... maybe clan in da front actually but all the songs rule. wbu?
| romulanrancor You can't go wrong with any of the members, they're all sick af
| romulanrancor Ghostface Killah or ODB probs, Both have a really recognisable sound
| romulanrancor haha i dont mind them if im honest, he hasnt done a SP cover in years anyway
| Jasdevi087 It's WYWH vs Soundtracks for the Blind. You wanna do the list?
| romulanrancor Reading your review now. Really glad to see you dug TH so much.
| romulanrancor lol i dont know if thats true, he does make the audience sing quite a bit though
