| Friday13th Need your vote for the elimination round!
| Gleam Sorry, couldn't fully write what I meant to write, kinda sounded rude now that I look at it. Bohren are awesome! Meant to say I listened to both those Bohren records, as well as Piano Nights. All three are very, very good - especially Black Earth, imho.
| Gleam I have already listened to those two albums by Bohren
| Gleam Great justification. Well, about my only-5's thing, I don't know, I felt like listing a lot of records I love, but I'm going to change that and narrow it down to the most solid records I've heard and the ones I enjoy regardless of my mood (after all, no way I think all those records are perfect, it's just that all of them are fantastic, really).
| Gleam Your ratings are so aesthetically pleasing, especially the 5's. 5 albums alone: Debussy, Nick Drake, Rush, Harmonium and Mr. Miles. Great stuff.

| Onirium What has got me shifting roles? /// I have jumped ten feet in the air/I'll end up as a fool on the earth/As a fool, all is very bright/Tell me what I could do/I fell on Earth/Among people who never noticed/If I could try once again/With some luck, I'd manage to fall back on both feet... The best I could do, without taking away its authenticity and character, but keep in mind that, originally, there's extensive rhyming and many figures of speech, plays on words that mainly work in French
| Onirium Here's an attempt (the first stanzas of Comme un Fou): It's odd, since awakening/I don't feel quite the same/I have trouble watching myself/The mirror deceives me/There's more than coffee, to get me seeing/I want to blacken water/To whiten my mind/The device is plugged in my back/And burning my skin /// If you had to make up/You would be two, you and the sun/Watching me breakfast/I feel myself becoming alien/Unsure if sad or comical/As if I lost control/What have I got on my shoulders?
| Onirium Of course, it will be a pleasure! The lyrics are truly beautiful. Do you know the general concept of the album? And what songs are you most curious about? Also, translating the lyrics will probably take away their "folkloric" character, because some French-canadian idioms and expressions are spread here and there, but I'll be happy to help.
| Jethro42 Hi you. Unfortunately not. I don't know if you can find such a thing. I've read in a thread you desperately tried to find it. Even by using google translation, you can have trouble cos the words/phrases are not always written in full (slang). Do you know Onirium the user? He is perfectly bilingual. Not the case for me. Perhaps he could translate you a song or two...?

| LowellWolfe Just think he wastes a lot of time on some of those, could add some more interesting parts.
| Snowdog808 Yeah, I've enjoyed Metheny for quite a few years, and seeing him live in 2014 was absolutely amazing. It would be nice if more people on this site could try him out.
| wtferrothorn thanks man, I'll make sure to check it out! I've heard of it, but I've never had the chance to check it out.
| Snowdog808 Why thank you. I know one particular movement in the work receives so much credit, but I love the whole work too.
| magicuba beh a Milano fanno un sacco di concerti, mica male :D
| magicuba 22, stessa cosa per me: solo album e ascolto molto pił critico. Te quanti anni?
| counterparts that's rad dude! outside them, everything is just icing on the cake.
| magicuba io originariamente di Genova, ma vivo in Olanda e faccio avanti e indietro! Devo ringraziare sput per tutto quello che ascolto da 1-2 anni

| CalculatingInfinity I'm from England, not South America. I found out about the album with someone online, not watching the documentry. I should watch it sometime.
| Deviant. I'll be honest: I completely forgot! Done them for you now. Let me know if I missed any
| Deviant. If you can give me a list of everything that needs to be moved ord I'll be happy to change them for you
| CalculatingInfinity Don't be, all they can do is bitch. Just justify it properly and if they still whine then meh.
| CalculatingInfinity Here's my rankings if you want: Slow Riot (5/5), F#A# Infinity (5/5), Asunder (3.9/5, **** the haters), Yanqui (3.9/5), Skinny Fists (3.5/5), Allelujah (Like a 2/5, **** this thing). Slow Riot and Infinity deserve all the praise they get, in my top 6 album's ever. The others are still worth listening to however and create your opinion for yourself, ignore everyone's judgement and make your mind up. It took 3 listens of Slow Riot then 1 of Infinity for me to click with them. Give them time.
| CalculatingInfinity I thought they were alright for months, then it just clicked and my mouth dropped with how I didn't think this was brillant. Glad you're enjoying it more gradually.
| CalculatingInfinity I'll check out the new one since I think Tommy is much better then Kahn. Glad to hear it, hope you enjoy them (especally Kamijo, favorite vocalist ever
| CalculatingInfinity No problem, check out their albums Jubilee. Incredible stuff, have a sense of style and grace no one else has. Also I know Kamelot, 3.5'ed 3 of their albums.
| CalculatingInfinity I own that album, really enjoy it. When I comes to Power Metal Versailles will always be the best for me (another Japanese Neoclassical Power Metal band).
