 | JustinKing I thought it was the Zozobra project Nate Newton was a part of. Definitely check their Seminar albums, man, especially III.
 | JustinKing I think Old Man Gloom also has one or two members of Cave In, as well, actually.
 | JustinKing I've been meaning to get on those, man. I've loved everything I've heard by Old Man Gloom so far.
 | betray lol yes dude :^D i never gave f#a# a listen and I decided to on a whim and it was nothing short of mind blowing. i pretty much immediately ordered the record and checked out the rest of their stuff. i can't think of anyone else that even sounds remotely like them.
 | BMDrummer hey man what happened to all your ratings?
 | Mort. na just googled it, **** i want it but i have no money and get paid at end of month. also banquet records which theyre being shipped to is like a few miles from me but they think its gonna go from preorder. FUUUCK.
 | JustinKing Will do, man! I've been meaning to check a full-length of his for a while now, anyway.
 | JustinKing I've heard a few Tim Hecker tracks before, but never a full album. I highly recommend Boards of Canada's Music Has the Right to Children, Kashiwa Daisuke's Program Music I (seriously, GET THIS), Aphex Twin, Autechre, World's End Girlfriend, Moby's Play, and Labradford's Mi Media Naranja to start.
 | JustinKing I honestly think There Is a Hell and Sempiternal especially are great releases. I still like Suicide Season more than most, but it isn't quite to those levels in my opinion. What kinds of Ambient? Electronic, Godspeed! ambient, general chill music?
 | JustinKing I was meaning to ask what you thought of Sempiternal if you listened to it? I saw you liked There Is a Hell and Suicide Season quite a bit.
 | DrMaximus I haven't heard that one :/ ill check it soon
 | betray i probably won't do that because I hardly use fb except to keep in touch with extended family and close friends and also because of the fact that i'm weird about personal info getting on the rest of the internet sites i visit so don't take it personally buddy. agreed hard though the site is kinda going downhill there's just nothing better out there strictly for music
 | betray haaa swee welcome back hard. u still havent checked out that ****in album i recd you a eon ago
 | Pon Yeah that's probably why I like him so much. A lot of ambient doesn't do a whole lot for me beyond the simple fact that it's nice to listen to when you're tuckered out but Hecker seems to have a knack for injecting emotion and vivid imagery into his music while still being open to interpretation.
 | Pon I've heard all of his full lengths and they're all amazing, Haunt Me is my 2nd fav behind Ravedeath - pretty different albums tho
 | Pon Hehe, thank you. Yeah, I'm not too well versed in ambient myself but Tim Hecker speaks to me, you should try out Ravedeath, 1972. It's more immediate that a lot of his other stuff but it's just as good and the Hatred of Music two-parter are some of the most beautiful sounds ever made by mankind~~
 | DrMaximus Haha sweet. Klaus Schulze - Irrlicht and Deathprod - Morals and Dogma are my favourite ambient albums. Let me know what you think of those.
 | Ryus was rec'd it before, i'll give it a listen soon. thanks
 | Ryus yeah dude, the second half on that album is absolute perfection. the only issue i have with that album is feral, it wanders far too much and is kind of pointless
 | melonade You 5'd the first glassjaw album you are officially rad
 | melonade You need more nice ratings for any album, since idk about Damien rice I can't compliment your music taste :c
