 | SteakByrnes I can say the same, it was well worth the wait. I was scared that the new vocalist wouldn't have been as good but he killed it. It's easily one of my favorites this year as well, but Invent, Animate's new record keeps that spot at #1 for me

| SteakByrnes Dude the new Shokran album destroys! The new vocalist is really good, and the guitars are just as good as they were in the last album, if not better. So far The Swarm and Living Arrows are my favorite songs, but they're all incredible

| Snide Yeah, I didn't exactly enjoy their sophomore effort bar one song because it seemed pretty lazy. Momentum was a fantastic return to form though, I really dig the vocalist.

| Snide In all honesty I really feel the only reason people are being so hard on him is because he's a youtube celeb. If some no name solo artist released it, people would view it on average as anywhere from a 2-3 (I'm at the 3/5 end of that). As for the whole "25 year old marketing to teenie boppers", Pierce the Veil's vocalist is pushing 40, they have the same kind of fanbase (the difference in musical quality is obviously quite a lot, but my point stands)

 | ScuroFantasma That's fair enough, feel and comfort are pretty important, must be a struggle for Ibanez to make the RG 8s so cheap, although the new black Iron Label ones are priced pretty well and look really nice. Hope you find a cool schecter 8. What models were you looking at?

| ScuroFantasma Sweet man, the Agiles I've seen look really nice and sound great. Never played a Schecter but I've always really liked the neck joints they have, looks really easy to get up to the frets. And yeah I'd expect the RG to have bad pickups, what didn't you like about the feel though? Personally I think I'll replace the pickups in the 8 at some point, but they're okay for now, and this guitar has really strange pickup routes too which makes it difficult.

| ScuroFantasma ...but these ones are quite 'hot' and work well for the mindless heavy stuff I'm playing around with on it. I do plan on replacing pretty much all the electronics though, don't like the stock volume pot, and the tone pot is pretty useless. Might add a killswitch instead. And locking tuners would be cool.

| ScuroFantasma It plays really nice. The neck on it is really nice to play, and the body is light and comfortable given its an S series. I jumped straight from a 6 to the 8, just because for a near new guitar it was going really cheap and it's flawless besides a tiny nick near the strap button, and I have had minimal trouble adjusting to the additional strings, much less than I anticipated. Stock pickups at the moment which I'm actually surprised by, Ibby pickups are usually rubbish in my limited experience...

| Gameofmetal I've been playing long enough to branch out into pretty much anything I listen to now. Started out on thrash, then metalcore, then deathcore, and now I can play most styles of metal and punk, and maybe a little post rock.
