  • danielito19 I'm not a great writer by any means but the review looks pretty good to me! The bit about "post-grindcore" is a little pretentious, you might catch some flak for it; but I really like it. Also lol at the didjeridu spelling bit.

  • Veldin Yeah, I feel that. I was chilling at a Converge show and some asshat slammed me into a wall. Concerts definitely vary...

  • Veldin I agree. It's difficult rating creations that people have (presumably) put a lot of work and effort into. You a fan of concerts? Going to any upcoming shows?

  • BMDrummer hey man sorry i couldn't get to you immediately, had school and stuff like that. but for first time reviewers, i would say try not to be too personal, examine the album as a whole (not song by song, although you can point out highlights of course), and don't give too much detail. read some reviews if you need more help, and let me know when/if you post it in the proofreading thread. welcome to sput btw!

  • ArsMoriendi You might want to revisit it then. It might be a grower for you. In the meantime, check Surfer Rosa.

  • ArsMoriendi Okay. I guess I have less nostalgia for a specific Pixies album since I heard all of them around the same time. Bossanova was just my favorite out of all of them. I hope you like it at least since it's pretty much of a similar quality.

  • Veldin The pleasure's all mine, good sir. The album's you've rated thus far are all sexy records.

  • JustinKing I've heard Brutal Truth before, actually. I actually just revisited that album and Evolution Through Revolution recently when I was in a big Grind mood. I think they're very good albums, but when it comes to Grind, I guess I am more partial to bands with more Hardcore influence, like Nasum, Pig Destroyer, Leng Tch'e, or Nails.

  • ChoccyPhilly All your ratings are very appreciated here, I wouldn't worry about a thing ;)

  • ChoccyPhilly I'm the exact same, it's rare that I fall in love with a record. But hey, if there's anywhere where your freaky and unusual taste is debated, torn apart and sometimes accepted, it's here
