  • Snowdog808 I'm glad you enjoyed Atheist, as I also see their album on your 1991 list as of today. And yes, Symbolic is the bomb too. Maybe you'd like Cynic's Focus as well, also from the early 90s.

  • Snowdog808 I'd definitely recommend Atheist, Watchtower, Crimson Glory, 90s Death, Ayreon, Enslaved, Ne Obliviscaris, Animals as Leaders, maudlin of the Well, Edge of Sanity, and Angra (particularly the album Holy Land.)

  • Snowdog808 It's good to see you liked Awaken the Guardian and Perfect Symmetry!

  • Ebola Check out Symphony X and Blind Guardian. Symphony X is the more proggy of the two; my favorite record of theirs is "The Odyssey."

  • wham49 hey Dude just talking, thats what we are here for, if you are as young as you told Titan, you are off to a good start and have pretty good taste in music, I like to play devils advocate around here for entertainment purposes, don't listen to people, what you like is a good, well rounded music, keep it that way, many people around here limit themselves to one genre, I started with all these bands, keep listening

  • Snowdog808 No problem. Honestly I bet you'd enjoy King Crimson's Discipline as well. It's another great 80s sounding progressive album from the year before, with some of rock's most memorable basslines.
