 | Divaman I'm glad to see you checked out the Ian Anderson album, and that you mostly liked it.
 | Orb Yeah i had that problem with electronic until i started going to festivals. I still hate on a lot of it but guys like EPROM, Bleep Bloop and Tsuruda are turning electronic music inside out and actually doing innovative tings wit it
 | Orb Thats good eh! Theres gold in every genre right?
 | Orb Good taste man
 | bnelso55 Thank you for taking the time to listen! I really appreciate it and am glad to hear that you liked the music.
 | rockandmetaljunkie Hey man, that's great to hear. Sorry for the delayed answer but i've got my hands full the last couple of days. I just wanted to tell you that if listen to OM you might as well wanna check this band called Zaum. Their music is very interesting and similar to OM's, both in execution and philosophy. They don't use guitars just like OM, but instead, they use sitars. The result is interesting and pays off big time. Check them out ;-)

 | InFlamesWeThrash666 Hello there, just wanted to say that the new Rotting Christ album is available for streaming on Youtube...I'm very disappointed tbh
 | enedwaith hmm right on. looks at least they aren't cashing in on substandard release
 | enedwaith thanks man. i wonder if it'll be the same style/quality as the original pressing. i used to have perdition city on vinyl and the sleeve interior was beyond gorgeous
 | enedwaith hey where did you hear about perdition city rerelease?
 | evilford awesome yeah those are both dm classix
 | evilford had you not heard funebrarum or rippikoulu before?
 | rockandmetaljunkie That being said, I'm not aware of the price standards of your country and the evaluation of the same product in your country; The same guitar could be bought for a higher or lower price in other countries.
 | rockandmetaljunkie To begin with my instructions, I have to say that 500 euros (that's your budget if i remember correctly), is an awful lot of money to buy your first instrument. Your first guitar doesn't have to be that expensive. I bought mine for a merely 120 euros (a fender squier) and I think it's a great choice for beginners.
 | manosg Happy new year Totengott. All the best!
 | rockandmetaljunkie I'm fine man, thanks for asking. My schedule has been very predictable as of late.
 | rockandmetaljunkie Don't you think I have forgotten our little guitar discussion. So tell me, how much money are you prepared to invest for the equipment (guitar and amplifier) ?
 | bnelso55 Sure thing! Hopefully you find something to enjoy there. I kind of owe you for referring me to that Hufnagel album. I still find myself coming back to it, so thanks!
 | bnelso55 Hey! Sure. I?ll share a few. I saw your ratings for Empyrium, Tenhi, Musk Ox, and Vali and I tried to think of bands in that vein that you may not have heard. Sorry if this ends up being one long list of stuff you?ve already heard.

 | JamieTwort Glad you liked it so much, man. No problem.
 | bnelso55 That is pretty weird. This sounds nothing like his work with Gorguts or his other projects. The guy has a pretty diverse palette.
 | bnelso55 I see what you mean about the Hufnagel album. The sound is mesmerizing and I really like the overall eerie, electronic quality. I get this atmospheric, dystopian vibe from it, which is cool. Interesting to hear how it stuck in your head like that. I'll need to revisit it to see if I get the same effect.
 | bnelso55 Agreed on Agusa. They definitely capture a great vibe on the new record. Their melodies are simple, but that is not a negative thing. In fact, it's just the opposite. They manage to cover a fair amount of emotional territory without overplaying in the slightest. In this case, less really is more.
 | bnelso55 Nice rating for the new Agusa record, by the way. I'm feeling a 4-4.5 myself. I need to listen to it a little more. Do you think you might review it?
 | bnelso55 Thanks for the recommendation! Your soundoff for the album intrigued me. I certainly check this out. What is it you like most about the album?
 | JamieTwort Also Hidden Orchestra is some other trip hop that's easy to get into so check them too. You might wanna leave Madlib til you've got into trip hop a bit as instrumental hip-hop might be harder to get into if you haven't listened to hip-hop that much.
 | JamieTwort No I haven't but I really want it. I was considering forking out quite a bit of money to get it but then I heard about the upcoming reissue.
 | JamieTwort The big trip hop artists like Massive Attack (Mezzanine) and Portishead (Dummy) are generally good starting points but I could see you digging instrumental trip hop stuff like Emancipator a bit more. I've also been jamming Madlib a lot who is more instrumental hip-hop than trip hop but you might dig his Beat Konducta albums, Vol. 1, 2 and 5 are the ones I'd recommend.
 | JamieTwort No problem, glad you like it. It's easily my favourite psych album ever.
 | bnelso55 I felt like writing something after listening the first time. That doesn't happen often. Its that good. The album rules and I hoped that a review would encourage more people to listen.
 | bnelso55 Enjoyed the new Von Till album quite a bit. I went ahead and put together a review with a few thoughts on it. If you get a chance to read, I'd appreciate it. Thanks again for referring me to the stream! I've been waiting for this record for a while.
 | bnelso55 Awesome. Thanks. I will check this out.
 | bnelso55 Thank you very much! I appreciate that. I do put a lot of consideration into the writing and am always hopeful that it shows. I didn't know the album was streaming! I'll have to find a link. Have you heard it? What do you think?
 | bnelso55 Thanks for link! I'll give this a read today. Pretty excited to hear the new record.
 | bnelso55 Isn't A Grave is a Grim Horse a sick album? I jam that one regularly. I think he's got a new one coming in May.
 | rockandmetaljunkie Hey man, if you want to listen to some excellent epic doom a-la candlemass style, check out these guys: http://www.sputnikmusic.com/bands/Crypt-Sermon/64352/
 | Mongi123 Believe me I will. Don't know when yet but I definitely will.
 | emester checked that Manilla Road teaser. Looks pretty good.
 | Mongi123 Ok dude I'll throw that on the list haha
 | Tunaboy45 Absolutely, and a great way to pay tribute.
 | Tunaboy45 That's fantastic news, thanks for telling me!
 | Mongi123 Well maybe Thrice and Modest Mouse but as of now I can't really think of any. You?
 | Mongi123 I really haven't heard THAT much from 2014 which is why I'm not making a list. But yes Alcest are amazing and underrated
 | Mongi123 Lol who didn't in 2014. Same with Isis and Alcest though they're incredible. The best I've heard from 2014 though is still Rishloo
 | Mongi123 Ok dude! As of right now idk what I'm gonna try next with so many recs in mind. I think for now I'm gonna focus on finishing all of the discographies I have to finish haha but coincidentally I may try the new anathema next
 | Mongi123 Sweet I'll have to give them a try sometime then!
 | ArsMoriendi I see you like Zappa. Have you checked out One Size Fits All? If so are you excited the Dweezil will be preforming it live next Spring?
 | Snowdog808 That would certainly be an awesome idea! Many of Rush's earlier albums, whether new or used, tend to be very affordable.
 | OmairSh Wow you enjoyed it pretty early, that album took me around 5 listens to understand what the hell's even going on. Glad to hear that :-). It only gets better from here, the amount this album grows is just ridiculous. I probably enjoyed it most after 20 listens or something. Amazing band and album.
 | OmairSh Dude have you heard Leprous? You'd enjoy them, Norwegian Prog/avantgarde metal. Check out the TPS album. http://grooveshark.com/#!/s/Phantom Pain/3cpZMo?=5, http://grooveshark.com/#!/s/Dare You/3cpZPG?=5
