  • 50iL Hey man, nice taste! Those 5s are pretty on point. Listen to Black Fast for me, will ya? Also, have you listened to any of Vektor's other two albums? I only see OI rated in there.

  • Jethro42 Yeah good choice of listening. Music is complex but accessible at the same time and a lot of things are going on within their music. They offer a dynamic vintage 70's sounds like Beardfish does. Here is probably my fav Anglagard song taken from album Epilog; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0mOQ-sfG5k I could see you digging Sinkadus - Cirkus, a more lite version of Anglagard.

  • Jethro42 Premiata Forneria Marconi - Per un Amico, Neal Morse - Sola Scrip.tura, Harmonium - Les 5 Saisons, Focus - Focus II, Maxophone - Maxophone, U.K. - U.K., Anekdoten - From Within, Anathema - Judgement, Supertramp - Crime of the Century. Start with them. Let me know which ones you dig the most, so I could give you some others sooner or later. Cheers!

  • Jethro42 I see you are a metalhead, so I suggest you to try some good prog metal such as Psychotic Waltz, maudlin of the Well, Cynic, Kingston Wall (Kingston Wall II), Pain of Salvation, also maybe Opeth. That being said, here are some classic prog bands and albums; Anglagard - Hybris, Gentle Giant - Octopus, Renaissance - Scheherazade, Strawbs - Grave New World, Yezda Urfa - Boris, Maneige - Ni vent, ni nouvelle, Triumvirat - Illusions, Steve Hackett - Voyage of the Acolyte. Others to come...
