 | Azn. Thanks mate, ALLB's a fantastically under-appreciated band, sadly
 | JamieTwort The new Pond album is amazing. I love that they've gone in a heavier and more experimental direction. The only song I didn't love on first listen was the title track but it's grown on me a bit since.
 | punkomania19 Yer new release is amazing haven't stopped listening to it since I got it love me some pond
 | MosesMalone Duuuuude that's a sick band actually. I read about them somewhere and cast them off as a High on Fire clone, but I'm glad I gave them a listen. Kinda reminds me of Deadguy. I've actually got this huge list of bands I'm trying to check out, thank god for Spotify. A lot of SST bands and stuff, like the Meat Puppets and Saccharine Trust. I dunno, noise rock is like my quiet music.

 | cb123 haha whoops!! my bad, i just saw on your last.fm after i posted here haha sorry!!
 | cb123 Thanks man, I'm glad someone enjoyed it haha. Yeah buckethead has been good fun to dig through his stuff.
 | MosesMalone Ah, well that's sweet of you to say :) People shouldn't try to be something they're not on the internet just because of anonymity, so I might as well try to be as...me as possible? Which sounds like a s***ty motivational speech but uh I just woke up so it's really the best I can come up with.
 | Calc I vill do zat zen, sank you.
 | Calc Never heard them I've heard a lot about them though, where should I start?
 | conesmoke With tame Impala, Start with innerspeaker, then i'd go their ep. I havn't gotten my hands on the new pelican lol i'm just very excited from the track they released.
 | MosesMalone That being said the likes of Kayo Dot and shels are pretty sick, it's really all about diamonds in the rough though.
 | MosesMalone Eh it doesn't have to be proggy or posty to have good atmosphere. Granted I'm obsessive about sweet vokillz, but some of the more intense bm bands (mayhem, the guys from black twilight circle, Cultes des Ghoules) mix the craziest of roar-roar with humongous instrumentals. And I guess sometimes you can just get bored of hearing the same post-melodies and crescendos and s***, if its not one's thing.
 | MosesMalone And ya know I can't really say I'm big on urban exploring, but I can definitely respect the sentiment.
 | MosesMalone I believe they've been on my list for a while to jam. I dunno, I'm not big on my black metal being artsy, I like it when it's raw and goes for the throat. But I will give em a listen.
 | MosesMalone Yeah I dunno, I guess the whole underground critical scene really liked the idea of both black metal and shoegaze combining to make the "album of the year" and s***. Honestly I would like it much more without the hype but oh well. And awesome, I've been blathering about THD up and down this site for over a year now and nobody ever says anything. It's a crime how un-famous they are.
 | zakalwe Not a problem.Lost Society - Fast Loud Death and Public Service Broadcasting - Inform Educate Entertain are both debuts.Depeche Mode with Delta Machine but start with Violator.Nails - Abandon All Life. Sorry that what you heard didn't leave an immediate impression. I was amazed after my first listen.
 | JamieTwort I'll be sure to let you know what I think. I'm sure I'll like it, I'm a big fan of the band. I actually prefer them to Tame Impala.
 | FelixCulpa Hey what am I cody ;)? Just didn't know that's all. It it's a bit tricky just judging from last.fm at times how much a person enjoy an album.
 | FelixCulpa A bit surprised by some of your ratings! Didn't know you enjoyed the new ASIWYFA and Haxan Cloak so much.
 | Cygnatti not up to par with his usual work. plainly that. check out his previous albums, man.
 | treeqt. im on that jap psych s*** big time
 | treeqt. I wouldn't say it's the best thing ever either, I just don't enjoy the other records on your list nearly as much. You should listen to Grouper's Dragging A Dead Deer Up A Hill if you haven't btw
 | treeqt. I think Nepenthe is the second best on your list as well.
 | treeqt. back in march (technically before its official release) Excavation had a 2.9 average on here and I put it on a couple lists and made a soundoff and stuff saying how good it is and now everyone likes it.
 | Shimana wow that band does sound great! they could have boosted the vocals a bit more above the music though. nevertheless thanks for the rec, feel free to give me similar ones you've got
 | Shimana I don't think JW is a band anymore, but they did have an experimental hiphop project that you won't like either because Brendan is still on vocals lol.. anyway the new project is called 'YEW'
 | Shimana yea it's bad but it doesn't have anything to do with their music so i see no problem with listening to it. plus its not like the whole band was involved so that's additionally unfair
 | Calc Seems we like kind of the same stuff so that means you'll probably like this: http://hailthesun.bandcamp.com/
 | Calc I've heard them, I almost reviewed endorphinia or whatever its called but I didn't for some reason
 | Calc They do indeed rule I'm just patiently waiting until they drop a new song on us.
