Review Summary: It's getting dark.

Echoes Of Oblivion is a Greek dungeon synth project active since 2024, reinforcing the dungeon doom subgenre within the scene. This stylistic commitment is exceptionally strong in the project’s music, as the mystical and magical atmosphere typical of dungeon synth is transformed here into something depressing and ghostly. This is evident in the very grim track titles and the deliberately crafted sound of the synthesizers. The music’s backbone is formed by simple drums and slow, heavy chords played on synthesizers, while additional melancholic, moderately paced melodies with ethereal and somewhat old-school tone enrich the composition. The instrumentation also reveals clear musical influences, such as the Ghoëst demos, and occasionally echoes the prison albums of Burzum (particularly Hliðskjálf). Over the course of its roughly 40-minute runtime, the album paints a dark picture, evoking the atmosphere of cobwebby crypt - especially when paired with the haunting cover art. There’s little point in dissecting the album’s musical techniques in detail, as with most dungeon synth releases, atmosphere and the vibe more important than everything else. In this regard, The Fall of All Morality succeeds: it effectively conveys the depressive and dark essence of dungeon doom, proving that this musical style has a place among the doom subgenres. Perhaps not a masterpiece, but it works!

More dungeon droom for y'all. Also, I'm trying to master this one-pharagraph-review style.

Sounds interesting. Dungeon synth is a genre I'm not terribly familiar with but seems intriguing

I will definitely need to czech this project - another release that fell under my radar. Will most likely check their debut first though.

Thank you for the rev, garas! :]
