Review Summary: chemtrails over the mooncat
Mooncat is back. The underground interstellar artist has spent the past four years putting together their sixth LP
Mooncat 6. Like playing ping pong with a comet, it is a sprawling song...waitno album full of moments of music, woven together by several moments of sound. Unlike previous records, it is clear that Mooncat put their entire Mooncatussy into these soundscapes: guitars cut in and out (of focus), synths feel fresh like an elite full of adrenochrome and, at times, emotions can be identified. Much like the great moon hoax of 1835,
Mooncat 6 is reminiscent of sex: not necessarily beastiality, but also not necessarily not incredibly hung bat-people engaging in certain acts. Moreover,
Mooncat 6 might be ahead of its time, too. Who knows, 190 years from now people might be praising the ingenuity of Mooncat the same way people are praising the ingenuity of Qanon at this very moment. The moon landing might not have been legit, but Mooncat is legit. You might not be able to see it yet, but Mooncat is coming. For you.
