yeah i went through a period of writing a lot of silly haikus for fun about 5 years ago (not on sput just privately) and randomly got the itch again recently.
thought the idea of a haiku review could be a fun activity and it was, genuinely enjoyed writing this.

definitely much more interesting than another "experimental" review that has a conversation between people lol. how long did it take out of curiosity? you had practice but still definitely takes skill to pull that off.

it took about 2 hours give or take and wasnt that hard at all, haikus are very easy considering it gives you structure and all you have to do is determine what each separate haiku or string is going to be about (the albums theme, brevity, lyrics etc)
i really could have done a much better job, im no poet and a lot of these are clunky and ideally they could have linked together much better. but i did this for fun and for practice so i dont mind.
also, once i realised retaliation was 5 syllables it was pretty straightforward lol
(although johnny did make an interesting point the other day that the haiku conventions in english copied over from japanese dont make much sense because the languages are so different)

haha hell yeah dude. I should finally check this out.
I actually had the idea for a poetry game where you either pick or are assigned an album and have to write a short poem based on it but idk how it would work or be received. might be fun to try some day.
