A quickie this one, maybe a glorified soundoff but whatever, this deserves a thread and some more attention.

Thanks folks! I thought you in particular might like this, Sunny!
And yeah, for old albums that I want to give exposure but don’t have too much to “say” about per se I think a glorified soundoff is great, long as it’s a solid “paragraph” rather than a quip or meme or whatever.
I really dig the guitar playing on this. The cover art matches the vibe nicely.

“All You Know” has rapidly become one of my favorite songs of all time.

Dang I'll have to revisit that tune now see what I think
Boney try 'Where You're Coming From' from the new Buck Meek, reminds me a little of Wilco's 'The Late Greats' when the guitar comes in after the chorus - one of my faves of the year now!

Yeah listening to 'All You Know' it sounds a bit like a more dreamy version of 'Sad and Beautiful World' by Sparklehorse, real nice

Bumped this to a 4.5, still wish a few of the songs stood out more songwriting-wise but this is just so damn listenable and creates such a wonderful ~vibe~ across its runtime. A vinyl reissue of the band’s full discography was announced last week, gonna have to snag this one at the very least.

Zak knows :D
These are a favorite of Jason Pierce, he brought them on tour with Spiritualized way back and he wrote the introduction to the liner notes of their recent reissue box set.
