Review Summary: 2D bird goodbye

Bloody remains of a bird in two dimensions on the kitchen window echo the savage allure found in abstract expressionist paintings, where brushstrokes of chaos intermingle with traces of delicate precision. The shattered fragments of a mirror reflect fractured realities - evidently. In the realm of cinema, disjointed scenes, jarring juxtapositions, and unflinching portrayals of violence converge to form unsettling films that challenge conventional storytelling. These parallel realms of brutal semblances merge in Bye2's "麻雀暴力射精倶楽部: Unpleasant Fate Mix I," where sonic disarray and unsettling aesthetics collide to create an experience that is both mesmerizing and unsettling.

From the opening track "Purikura"'s cacophony of distorted samples and relentless beats, to the hauntingly beautiful yet disturbing melodies of "Face Edit Software," Bye2 takes listeners on a sonic journey through a distorted reality. "Love U I Love U" surprises with its juxtaposition of harsh noise and gentle vocal fragments; "Soil Good for Health" immerses us in a disorienting soundscape of pulsating warping wyrm-rhythms and highly distorted textures. "Flesh Ritual," the epic closing track spans five entire minutes and engulfs the listener in a vortex of distorted beats, piercing synths, and fragmented vocal samples. It is a fitting conclusion to this avant-garde power noise mixtape, leaving us unsettled yet craving for more.

"麻雀暴力射精倶楽部: Unpleasant Fate Mix I" is not for the faint of heart. It is an unapologetic exploration of sonic disarray, where beauty and discord intertwine to create an intense and disorienting experience. Bye2 challenges preconceived notions of music, defying categorization and inviting us to embrace chaos. Prepare yourself for a relentless assault on the senses, as this mixtape thrusts you into a dissonant symphony of sound, blurring the boundaries between pleasure and discomfort.

Note: Please be aware that Bye2's music contains intense and abrasive sounds. It is recommended for listeners who appreciate experimental and unconventional forms of music.

Face Edit Software rips, if only I wasn't legally deaf so I could hear it again.
