Little impromptu review written quickly for a classic from me childhood!!! There's a link to CHOP! CHOP!

I feel you. Honestly without the nostalgia idk if I would enjoy this like I do. I will stand by the opinion that Mike E Clark is and underrated producer though.
Cheers for the comment man

I can' believe I did it, but I went and listened to this because you reviewed it. Better than any ICP I had heard in the past, but still gimmicky. Thought this was a fun listen though. The feature on Chop Chop is clearly the best lyrics on the ep. Stalker created quite a menacing atmosphere and kept me engaged throughout. I won't be diving into any more of their discog or likely ever returning to this, but I appreciated it for what it was and glad I gave it a shot.

Hell yeah I'm real glad you took the time to give this one a chance Feather! Happy to hear you got something out of it and also agree on Eshams verse on Chop Chop being the peak here. His debut Boomin' Words From Hell is well worth a look also. If I recall correctly he recorded and produced it at 14 years old and it's extremely impressive.
I think you'll dig this fox. I rarely check my shoutbox but once I noticed your comment on mine I saw the ICP mention in yours and it inspired this review.
Lol your myspace sounds like peak internet reich

I must be the only one around who has never listened to these guys hahah the only thing I've seen from them was the exchange with Sharon Osborne on Howard Stern.
Good work, pos'd

You should give it a shot for sure. Honestly I feel like most old school hip hop fans can find something to like on this one and Ringmaster especially. The first 3 jokers cards all around are still fun for me though. Since around 06 or so everything they've put out is unlistenable for me but the early to mid 90's output from them and House of Krazees both are pretty dope imo

Imma lick it up!!!
What's everyone's favorite Faygo flavor? I'm personally a big fan of the Grape and the Moon Mist
There was a story going around that someone gave out a Faygo when ICP dropped their Mighty Death Pop jokers card before a show and referred to it as the mighty death pop and the person had poisoned it and it ended up killing the dude that took it. Not sure if it really happened or was just a rumor but wild if true

I am surprised, but here I am, sitting here listening to Ringmaster. There is something weirdly alluring about this bands early stuff. Their messed up stories/lyrics I strangely enjoy and am always waiting for whats going to come next.

Man you've got no idea how stoked I am to hear that! A 6 year old combustion07 was given Ringmaster by his sister and I gotta say it really had a profound effect on me at that age. I got it at a time where my imagination was still completely running wild and I could really fully immerse myself into it. I think that's why I still have a strong connection to these early albums from them. Southwest Song gave me chills as a youngster along with The Loons.
I also had one of the most chilling experiences with that album. We were driving back home on the highway from one of our monthly trips to Cargo Largo and I was probably 7 or 8 years old and I had Ringmaster playing on my walkman as usual and I was listening to "The Dead One". I'd stare out the window every car ride and I was fixated on this white van on the opposite side of the highway. When the song comes to a close (at least I think it's that one) the music cuts off and Shaggy yells "YER DEAD BITCH!!!" The exact moment that happened the white van flipped 3 or 4 times as I stared at it and we'd heard a few people died in the accident later on and it seemed to happen for no reason whatsoever. That shit always stuck with me big time and I still get goosebumps when I hear it to this very day.
Rant over. Sorry y'all I'm passionate about this shit lol

I can't imagine listening to this as a 6,7 or 8 year old. Your older sister gave zero fucks. Pretty messed up witnessing such a wild crash at that age too, not surprised that would stick with you so much.

Yeah my sister definitely provided me with a pretty damn interesting childhood. It didn't stop at the ICP and Twiztid CDs either I was a wild ass kid in general lol. I think I've turned out alright enough though probably against the odds. I'm honestly shocked a few of you guys have taken the time to jam some stuff from the review though. Feel like this might be one of my biggest successes review wise and that's no easy task with icps reputation!
