This is a review on the (in my opinion) one of the best singer/songwriters in the history of music (he's up there with buckley and a few others) Almost all his songs are very creative.. He's the reason that i've started to play with alternative tuning and more acoustic.. Even though he made an end to his life some time ago his songs are awesome... We'll remember him :)
1.. Son of Sam
This song starts of with a piano and guitar playing together, works perfectly. The drums and vocals come in at the same time and after a verse he plays the intro again.. Then at around 1.30 minutes he hits the distortion, this is different but still awesome, brings the song to another level. Good song, immidiatly sets the mood and tells you that you shouldn't expect a album like XO or Either/Or --- 5/5
2.. Somebody That I Used to Know
Not great guitar but pretty cool, nice accoustic little thing.. then the vocals come in and like so often they are incredebly awesome, really cool. Get's a little botring but at 1.20 he throws in a short guitar piece, very nice.. This song has something.. don't really know what but it rox --- 4.5/5
3.. Junk Bond Trader
Oh man, this intro is so cool.. Really cool, pretty long too, then he comes in and it's all complete.. and it's good, oh yes, it's definitly good... The electric guitar is really catchy and the vocals are like so many times SOOOO GREAT.. I seriously like this song more and more every time i hear it --- 5/5
4.. Everything Reminds Me of Her
short guitar intro, not really that cool but it's ok... but when the song starts it's all cool again cause when he starts singing and it's just him and his acoustic guitar it feels right again.. and his singing in the chorus is cool...

5.. Everything Means Nothing to Me
This is the song my sister wanted me to hear and she was right it's really amazing, it sounds really depressed and his piano is playing as he is singing "everything means nothing to me, everything means nothing to me" This is definitely one of my favorite songs on the album --- at least 5/5
6. LA
Electric guitar again so you know this song will be rocking.. his vocals aren't amazing but they work untill ..................... the chorus... is SO cool with his backup vocals... everytime he sings "LA morning had to come, i'd be walking in the sun" i shiver.. it's great --- 4/5
7.. In the Lost and Found (Honky Bach)
Everyone that has heard this song that i know loves his piano.. it's so jolly, really fun and HAPPY and the vocals in the chorus are as usual great enough to give you goosebumps... this song? love it --- 4/5
8.. Stupidity Tries
This song starts with the vocals no intro.. this song is pretty cool... the verses aren't too intresting but the prechorus is really cool and the chorus is REALLY cool so i'll give it a --- 3.9/5
9.. Easy Way Out
Acoustic song again, that's nice.. The vocals are nice and easy but the prechorus and chorus again when the backup vocals kick in very much *shiver* material.. good song not awesome but good --- 3.8/5
10.. Wouldn't Mama Be Proud?
The next 4 songs i don't find very intresting but ok, this song doesn't have the amazing verses but... but of course the chorus is really cool.. but it's not as amazing as for example the chorus in Sweet Adeline (first song on XO) But it's nice --- 3.5/5
11.. Color Bars
Nice accoustic guitar/piano intro again but not as cool as it was in the first song 'son of sam' but it's still cool... i can listen to this song and not be bored for a second and if it was from any other person i'd love this song but i know that he can make better songs soo --- 3.4/5
12.. Happiness
Nice intro, the same sort of drums that the song 'Speed Trials' had but the songs aren't a like at all... very different... i think there is some sort of organ on the background... but this song is pretty boring actually... i can listen to it and i wouldn't skip it but it's not great 3.3/5, sorry, after listening to this song more i have to fix this to a 5/5.. it's just so great.
13.. Pretty Mary K
I like this intro, acoustic little thingy.. his voice sounds far from happy again but the chorus sounds nice... i do like this song kinda but it's not my favorite and it's another cool track, nothing more, nothing less --- 3.6/5
14.. I Better Be Quiet Now
Nice vocals, no intro, very sweet lyrics... a little sad but nice.... it's another song of him with an acoustic guitar... and i really like it like that so this song does it for me... very good song... --- 4.5/5
15.. Can't Make a Sound
The same sound as the last song had and again of course it works but i like this one more then 'I Better Be Quiet Now' He's just strumming chords throughout the song... untill 2 minutes or so where it gets louder and fuller i like it... and how this song builds up is so great, their are violins in this song and a second guitar and everything so cool --- 4.6/5

An instrumental song with him and a piano and just that..... i usually don't like instrumentals but this is an exeption... it's really moving... very cool, very nice, very .... awesome :) 5/5
When i was about to listen to this for the first time i thought it wouldn't be as good as XO or Either/or and it wasn't.. but it came close though.. it's a different sound but it's nice and sounds goooood especially songs like Son of Sam, Everything Means Nothing To Me & LA make this album great... i'd say it's worth buying.... give it a try .....
