Review Summary: A voyage to new yet familiar lands.

Good music requires a strong anchor. Well, pleasant music surely does. That first sentence may be triggering to some avant-garde enthusiast, but to be fair, I do believe most avant-garde fans are visiting the genre to gather something more than auditory bliss. Naked Flames is a progressive trance project spawning from Bristol that integrate complex soundscapes with rhythmic bass lines that tether the listener to reality while teasing alien lands. It is like the initial glimpse into a higher dimension just before the ingested psychotropic envelops you entirely. Transitions are rapid spectacles that seem warranted and pertinent to the painting as a whole, despite the canvas hosting both Cubism and Realism within the same frame. Miracle in Transit is an astral sailboat captained by a spiritual guru while the deckhands are expertly applying Cartesian geometry to ensure a successful voyage. In short, whether you desire an ambient experience or an intellectually stimulating listen that will be undoubtedly satiated following a close listen, Miracle in Transit will serve both with pleasure.

I really like this album cover and I'm excited to check it out.
Not even sure if I've ever heard a trance album tbh. What are good examples of artists in the style?!?

I don't listen to a ton of trance but Pan Matsuri is scratching an itch I did not know I had.
