THE MACHINE needs maintenance and repair. The machine does not know when it breaks down. It pleads that you tell it lest it doubles down. When the machineβs coding fails to execute, it tries again. And again and always. Before ceasing or breaking operation it will drive itself into the ground believing that it must fulfill its given task at any and every cost. Another day like any other: pearly smoke begins to bellow from its cold, metallic head. Tears stroll down its face. Somehow the impossible had happened: somehow the machine had learned to love.
In 2021 Humans will wear half a face. They will walk empty streets forced to change and reform. In the process they shall scramble to cling to the old and safe but find that to smother the past is to do the impossible and fornicate with distortion. It was always erroneous in some way, by some facetβ¦ A chink, a scar, an unspoken word, your lost memento, an addiction to dependency, a teeming heart of darkness, a teeming heart of innocence. Memories that we could not let go but must in order to move forward. There is no other way, now wonβt you look to the road ahead? Otherwise, dear Machine,
you will crash.
Beauty in chaos, beauty in suffering and grime and tainted dreams. God has given you the gift of love and life, dear Machine, is this all you wish to do with it? So you turn away because this pain is all you know. Because reality is nicer with your eyes closed. Because the darkness has become a home. To be cold and lifeless is to be YOU, dear Machine! And you can scream so well with that mouth of yours. Itβs funny... For a while it looked like you would never have one.

Do you believe youβre lesser than you are, dear Machine? Is that what causes you to break down and break apart and expose your organic insides? Donβt hide your heart, dear Machine. Itβs your secret weapon. To fire your weapons is to fire your soul; we know. So use your greatest asset. Feel as hard as you can feel until youβre hollowed-out and your circuits have fried beyond repair. We regret to inform you that tears will sting at your wires. But this is what you need to feel to see the light. Ten more days. Five more hours. Sorry, it seems your clock has reset...
