Review Summary: Only CORPSE PAINT-mask is real
Without question, one of the last remaining forms of inspiration in this insipid modern world is music. And, as many would attest, its ultimate embodiment of raw, wild, boundless power comes in the form of black metal. A mainline to the ultimate truth and the constant question of existence. A transcendental force that can transform us at our very core. That kind of creative chaos cannot be reined in, nor held tight on a short leash of control.
And yet, there is a group of faceless cowards, known as antifa, who continually screech for its demolition. Demolition of true beauty, true wildness, true anarchy (something they, laughably, pretend to value, while they dictate rules and regulations for all to follow). They hide behind keyboards, idiotic stickers, and anonymous websites, demanding that anyone involved in making such music must be publicly humiliated. They try to drag names and faces through the very mud which they themselves – dirty, dreadlocked and disheveled – are content to wallow in.
Furthermore, these intellectual weaklings have tried to publicly persecute and antagonize other stalwart figures in our metal scene. Those few who have managed to keep the underground alive by their own sacrifices and the sweat on their own brows. Record shop owners who support the scene with unwavering steadfastness. A venue owner who, refusing to genuflect at these lowlifes’ feet, allowed one band to play, regardless of their pitiful threats. Instead of respecting his autonomous will and choice to do as he wished with his own property, antifa trash set his car afire (venue owner is our friend!).
But neither these upstanding men, nor we, their brothers in arms, will be bullied into silence. Certainly not by spineless cowards who create nothing of value themselves, and thus pathetically attempt to tear down that which is true, and pure, and beautiful.
We will not forgive. And we will not forget.
We stand together, around our creative fire, united against antifa terrorism.
And so was the fury and vitriol of the black metal hordes unbound.
'Beware the fury of a patient man.'
