I suppose this is alright. Haven't listened to it in a while. Can't verify my original rating still holding up. Corporate Avenger was a rap rock band that was signed to Suburban Noize. One of the guys in the group was a dancer in the live shows for Kottonmouth Kings. Due to another one of the members having Native American ancestry, they called out the Conquistadors forcibly converting Native Americans to Christianity ("Christians Murdered Indians") and are critical of Christianity on other songs. Don't know if it was just my edgy atheist days or if this still musically holds up, but I'm not sure the emphasis on electronic music influences on CA's sound totally won over the KMK crowd since KMK tended to be more like psychedelic G-funk. I also remember that CA would move away from rap on their other album, so I don't know if they were able to maintain an audience.
There's one thing for certain: with how short lived the general public's tolerance for rap rock was, any group that combined with rap and rock and ignored metal completely probably looked better for not trying to adhere to the more commercially popular rap-metal sound. Usually because rap rock bands
were better than rap-metal bands. Rage Against the Machine was total dogshit musically.
