Review Summary: GOOD

I don’t need your polyrhythmic drum grooves. I don’t need your trained vocalists. And I do not need your wanky danky sweep arpeggio fretboard abuse bs. OOGA BOOGA. This is it right here. I’m not gonna tell you in detail how intricate the guitars are because they aren’t and that is great. This is music I listen to after failing my GED test for the third time. I can’t count to more than four and that’s all I need. No 5/7. No 6/8. No numbers. No thought. Jam sessions in my mom’s garage after getting off shift at the 7/11. Album written in less than an hour. I don’t care that your latest album tackles plenty of mental health issues that we all go through. It’s 2020 and I don’t give a *** about whatever theme you assign to your album to make up for how unoriginal it is. We’ve all got some kind of trauma and I don’t want to lay down on my bed listening to ambient instrumentals to deal with the fact that the girl from my college humanities class curved me AGAIN. I just wanna put holes in my wall. This is the beauty of Tampa hardcore quartet Three Knee DEEP. 813.

wish you'd at least describe the sound of the album, this review reads like the intro to something at least another paragraph longer. you got my attention here

finally gave this a try, it's not that terrible. i like a lot of the experimentation here, i feel there's some well-earned moments. cold world still carries the torch for hip-hop/hardcore tho.
